Honey Salted Peanut Lunabar!
-
This bar is made of a nice crunchy, sticky square of granola coated with a thin layer of white chocolate on the bottom. The texture is a median between crunchy and chewy.
-
The taste is an intermediate between sweet and salty, but mostly sweet. I can taste a little more salt in the aftertaste.
-
The granola part contained mostly of toasted oats, soy flour, peanuts, peanut butter, and caramel flavored chocolate chips. It is sweetened with honey and brown rice syrup. All luna bars are made of mostly the same ingredients. They’re also vegan.
-
The price is $0.99 at trader joes. I think lunabars are too sweet in general, but I think the flavors are interesting so I want to try them all.

Over-the-Top Dessert: Break-and-bake cookies are the secret to these incredible ice cream sandwich bars. Simply roll out all the dough to create one giant cookie, then bake, slice and layer it with store-bought ice cream and hot fudge sauce. The best part: dipping the bars into crushed chocolate toffee candy to form a supercrunchy shell.
