Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus teamed to cover Crowded House’s ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’. The two pop singers previously performed the 1986 single as part of Cyrus’ Happy Hippie Project, with Cyrus noting earlier in the concert that their collaboration was a key moment in their friendship

MILEY Cyrus and Ariana Grande are a match made in music
The ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer joined the pop star on stage at
her Manchester benefit concert, belting out a rousing rendition of the Crowded
House hit ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’.
The pair were united in song and spirit as they took the
stage at the Old Trafford cricket club in Manchester, less than two weeks after
22 people were killed and dozens injured when a suicide bomber set off a nail bomb
at Grande’s concert.

Cyrus also took the stage to sing a song she wrote about dad

“I started Happy Hippy because I wanted to encourage

The One Love Manchester concert was a star-studded affair
with big names including Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Little Mix, Coldplay and Imogen
Heap taking the stage.
Marcus Mumford, of Mumford and Sons, opened the show with a
minute’s silence in tribute to those killed or injured in the attack.

Robbie Williams reunited with Take That to play three songs
including ‘Shine’, ‘Giants’ and ‘Rule the World’.
Williams, who broke down on stage at a concert in
Manchester over the weekend, later fought back tears as he sang his hits ‘Strong’ and ‘Angels’.
Former 1D member Niall Horan hit the stage with just his
guitar to perform his hit ‘This Town’, as did Justin Bieber with his hit ‘Cold Water’.

Katy Perry stunned with a stripped back version of ‘Part of
Me’ and let loose with ‘Roar’. Coldplay’s Chris Martin joined Oasis’ Liam
Gallagher on stage for a duet of ‘Live Forever’.
Grande smashed out a string of her biggest hits, including ‘Break
Free’, ‘Thinking About You’, ‘One Last Time’ and ‘Be Alright’. She looked most
at home during a duet – of their hit ‘Where is the Love?’– with the Black Eyed

The benefit concert, organised entirely by Grande and her
team, raised around $AU4 million for victims of the attack.
