Imagine Chris Argent and Negan both want to kiss you under the mistletoe.

——— Request for anon ———

You’d worked out a deal with Simon to get you some Christmas decorations, should he find any. That was why the borderline worn-down faux mistletoe now hung from the ceiling of your room, just behind the doorway. It was all you’d gotten your hand on so fat, but it gave you a Christmas feeling whenever you would return to your room; a reminder of how things used to be.

Chris and Negan had both noticed your mistletoe, as you left your door open the majority of the time and it was in full view of those who passed by. Chris had come by that morning, pausing in your doorway as he cracks a smile at the sight.

“It’s good to see someone has the Christmas spirit,” he had said before gesturing to the mistletoe with a smile. “Are you keeping the tradition?” You were, and so you’d pulled him in for a quick kiss before he continued his day’s work.

Negan had shown up that evening, Lucille balanced on his shoulder when he feigns surprise at finding the mistletoe above him, “What’s this? Looks like you’ve caught me under the mistletoe. What a situation we’ve found ourselves in.” With a wiggle of his eyebrows he’s pulling you in, getting a kiss as well as a good wander of his hands over you before he lets you go, “I’ll have to come by your room more often with that mistletoe hangin’ around.”

@reye-chan and I have had a good bit of Chara discussions lately about our Chara interpretations, Charas throughout this strange website, and canon Chara. Today we speculated about the event of our Charas meeting each other somehow, and so my 75% asleep self put together this shoddy doodle of them.

The two of them in the same area does not bode well for anyone nearby. Running in the other direction is advised.

As I’ve explained when I’ve done this in the past, I left out the humor collection Hellboy Junior and the superhero-crossover collection Hellboy: Masks and Monsters because they’re not in continuity; arguably neither are the two Hellboy: Weird Tales volumes but they’re at least in the spirit of the thing. I listed the original graphic novel hardcovers Hellboy: House of the Living Dead and Hellboy: The Midnight Circus as .5s rather than factoring them into the list proper primarily out of pique that they hadn’t been released in paperback yet, though that is now forthcoming with Hellboy in Mexico next April. I used the regular-edition trade paperbacks rather than the larger omnibus-style collections, though I refrained from noting the individual volume numbers within each series just for the sake of my sanity.

Enjoy, and many thanks to Mike Mignola, John Arcudi, Guy Davis et al for this marvelous story!
