Punks, Spoonies, Queers, and all you other lovelies.
Part of my degree involves me doing a project on an area of my choice related to museums and I’ve chosen accessibility for both disabled people (mentally and physically) and LGBQT* people. This is where you guys, gals, and non-binary pals come in.
I can only go to so many museums in so many places in so little time so I’m hoping some of you will be happy to share your stories with me.
What’s your biggest pet peeve when going to museums? How often do you see people like us included in displays or thought about at all? Which museum gave you the best experience? Everything can be submitted on anon, replied to this post, or even message me- I promise I don’t bite. Isn’t it time we were thought of for once?
