Excited to have Natasha of @natashakohli join the #CreativeChics community at our Chicago event on April 25th! She describes herself as driven, creative, and thoughtful. Her favorite morning refreshment is a caramel latte.

Natasha is an artist. She focuses on large scale abstract works on canvas, wood, and plexiglass. “I create commissioned pieces for clients and collectors, and studio works that I sell. I love what I do because it allows me to put positive energy into the world by placing it in my paintings.”

Kathryn’s biggest accomplishment in 2014 was designing and launching her website. “The biggest hurdle in turning my side hustle into a full-time business!”

In 2015, Kathryn will be intentional with her work from the projects and clients she takes on to the time she dedicates to her business. “The past year was all about saying ‘yes!’ and now I’m focusing on the right opportunities to take on.”

Excited to have Beth of @chappelowevents join the #CreativeChics community at our Kansas City event on April 17th!

Beth is an event and wedding planner. She describes herself as determined, creative, and diplomatic. Her favorite morning refreshment is split between a chai latte (when she is out for a meeting) and a good cup of medium-roast coffee laced with just enough cream and stevia when at home. “I like it sweet!”

Beth splits her time planning events between brides and organizations. “I think the experiences Chappelow Events has in both corners of the industry really enhances what we bring to the table for all of our clients. I also love exploring other creative interests through Chappelow Events. Lately, we have been playing with handmade decor and DIY floral and it has been so fun! Our clients have been thrilled with these new offerings too. Excited to see where the design side of our business might go in the future!”

Beth’s biggest accomplishment in 2014 was “Launching Chappelow Events! We started small in February of 2014 as I finished up a full time event planning position for a nonprofit, but took the big leap in June and have been running ever since!”

In 2015, Beth will have 12 weddings in addition to her non-profit and corporate clients.

Mary owns a photography business as well as being a second shooter for a local wedding photographer. “I love being able to help people preserve their memories.”

Mary’s biggest accomplishment in 2014 was “putting myself out there to people I admire and landing a couple of dream assignments. Also, working hard to prove myself and reach my goals.”

In 2015, Mary will create passive income through stock photography and find that mythical balance between work and home that people keep talking about.

Excited to have Miranda of @eventsbymirandalyn joining the #CreativeChics for coffee!

Miranda is an event and wedding planner. She is ambitious, determined, and courageous. Her favorite morning refreshment: “I love any coffee from Door County Coffee & Tea Co. (SO DELISH!), but my go-to at a coffee shop is usually an Iced Coffee w/ Soy Milk or Chai Tea Latte w/ Soy Milk.”

Events by Miranda Lyn is a wedding and event planning business, based in Chicago, but servicing the Midwest and destination. “I love building relationships with my clients and becoming their “best friend.” It’s such a treat to walk through their visions together and see what I can create. The outcome, thus far, has always been fabulous and it’s such a great feeling to see my clients beyond happy with their day. I love trying new concepts and seeing what we can do with an event that hasn’t been done before.”

Miranda’s biggest accomplishments in 2014: “I’d like to think I really hit the ground running with my company. It’s only been around for a couple years and I received a lot of traction in 2014.”

In 2015, Miranda will triple her business and dig deep into the blogging world.

Emily is a serial entrepreneur with multiple businesses. emmy-ray design studio is floral and accessory design for weddings. In 2014, she started Hazel & Ollie, which is hand made goods for kids and babies, inspired by Eleanor. She also blogs at Handmaker of Things, which is all about creative projects and DIY’s. “I feel so lucky that I get to do what I love, which is be creative and bring joy and beauty into other peoples lives!”

Emily’s biggest accomplishment in 2014 was raising her sweet baby girl Eleanor.

In 2015, Emily will take her blog to the next level and through it build relationships with other awesome female bloggers and entrepreneurs in Kansas City.
