How I see you.

(The many ways Jughead Jones sees Betty Cooper.)
*****

“What does that even mean?” Archie huffed, scratching the top of his head in unconcealed frustration.

“It’s a hyperbole Arch, its kind of like an exaggerated statement. It’s a joke. See, look how it’s written here.” Betty pointed a finger to a sentence in Archie’s literature textbook, her long blonde hair falling over her shoulder as she helped her redheaded best friend understand his homework.

Jughead stared openly at the scene in front of him, she was just so.. warm. No matter what Betty Cooper did it was always in the most gentle and assuring way possible, Archie had been asking the same question for the past ten minutes and while Jughead wanted to throttle him Betty was as patient as a saint. She was all reassuring words and soft encouragements, it really was something to see.

“I can’t do it! I’ll just fail, it doesn’t even matter.” Archie threw his pencil on the cafeteria table angrily.

Betty shook her head
“You can do it, don’t you dare give up on me Andrews. You’re incredibly smart, you think coach Clayton would just let you give up in the middle of a game? I don’t think so. So you pick up that pencil and you finish this study guide.” There was a fierce determination in her eyes that couldn’t be argued, with a sigh Archie picked up his pencil and continued writing.

Glancing up through long lashes, Betty grinned at Jughead, her dimples poking through as she continued her tutoring, clapping her hands when Archie finally finished and declaring Milkshakes were on her after school.

Betty Cooper was the very definition of warmth.
****

She was spinning in circles outside of his trailer, tiny pink polished toes barefoot on the dying grass, her hair stuck to her back as rain pelted from the clouds.

“Come on Juggie! We haven’t done this since we were little. Where’s your sense of adventure!” She shouted over the thunder, her arms open wide as her eyes shone with mischief.

Jughead tried desperately to keep the grin off of his face as he leaned against the doorway

“I’d rather not catch a cold, you’re insane! It’s practically a hurricane! Get inside.” He called for her.

“It’s just a little sun shower! I get it, you’re chicken! Aw poor little juggie afraid of a little rain!” Betty put her hands under her arms and began making clucking sounds, splashing through puddles while she taunted Jughead.

He rolled his eyes playfully before shrugging his denim jacket off and running after the drenched blonde, gripping her by the waist and swinging her around as she squealed and clutched the hands holding her.

“Who’s chicken now?” He whispered against her ear, reveling in the way she shivered at the sound of his voice.

Whipping around Betty brought her lips dangerously close to Jugheads causing the dark haired boy to gasp sharply, her breath mingled with his and she whispered back

“Still you.”

She shoved him back and he tumbled into a particularly large puddle, staring up at her with shocked eyes as she giggled and slowly backed away, the rain was slowing down now as he stood and marched towards her.

“See.” She beamed “just a sun shower.” She pulled him towards the truck giggling.

Betty Cooper was the very definition of sunshine.

*****

“Go! Just go! Get out of here!”
Betty dug her fingernails into the side of her head, cradling her face as she rocked back and forth. Jughead was standing in front of her, moving slowly to the blonde crouched in the corner of her bedroom

“Bets.. baby, It’s okay. I’m right here.” He tried to steady his voice, but he had never seen her like this before, she was shaking like a leaf and the heavy tears were dripping down her cheeks.

“I don’t want you to see me like this, I don’t want you… you can’t see my darkness. Please..” she whimpered, shoving her hand out to stop him, his eyes instantly fell to the dark scarlet drops of blood falling from her palms. Fuck it.

He ran to her then, picking her up and dropping her onto his lap, his arms coming around her and wrapping her up as he whispered in her ear as she sobbed openly, clutching his shirt in her cut up palms.

“It’s okay, I’ve got you, I’m right here.” He pressed his lips to the crown of her head, inhaling the strawberry and cream of her shampoo.

“My mom..my dad.. I just…” she choked out.

He shushed her softly, rubbing circles into her back.

“I know, I know.” He held her until she fell asleep and even after that, they stayed wrapped up in each other’s arms.

She was damaged and broken and lovely but Betty Cooper was the very definition of Perfectly imperfect.
****

“I’ve got the last box!” Betty held up the medium sized cardboard box and wiggled excitedly.
“Were officially moved in! Our first home!” She dropped the box on the carpeted floor and stood in front of Jughead her hands on her hips as he smirked at her.

“Casa Cooper-Jones. it’s kind of a dump but..” he trailed off, rubbing his neck nervously.

Betty approached him then, her slender arms coming around his neck

“It’s perfect and it’s all ours, our very own trailer.” She smiled up at him, happiness and love shining through her eyes.

They had bought out one of the trailers on the Southside. Both of the twenty year olds had decided to stay in Riverdale, with Polly being a single mother and Jugheads father getting out of prison soon it was almost impossible to leave their families. Jughead had been the one to bring up the subject and of course his beautiful girlfriend had been nothing but understanding claiming Riverdale community college had a great education program, Jughead was in the process of getting his first novel published So working from home really wasn’t a problem for him.

“I’m going to buy you a big house one day Betty Cooper, I’m going to give you everything you’ve ever dreamed of.”

Betty pressed a soft kiss to his lips and smiled dazed

“You already have.” She whispered.

Betty Cooper was the very definition of his angel.
****

The familiar melody of a 1950s love song played through the speakers in the reception hall, Betty was tucked against Jugheads body, his arms squeezing her waist, fingers toying with the soft white lace on her hips. She hummed into his neck, his nose running up her bare neck, exposed by the ornate updo.

“Have I told you how beautiful you look Mrs.Jones” he mumbled into her soft skin.

Betty giggled
“Only about a hundred times Mr.Jones”

“Well I’m going to tell you every single day until the day we die, you’re my wife now, I think I’ve earned that.” He pulled back and spun her out.

Betty spun back into his arms and laughed
“I can live with that.”

Betty Cooper was his wife.

Please feel free to alter my list for your own personal needs.

What to do before the Interrail trip

Also goes with other traveling

1. How are you going to this trip: alone or in a group. In a group you may be safer and have more fun, but you might also get into fights during the trip, even if you go with your best friends or family.
2. Time. How much you have time to travel. Two weeks or a month? Figure that out.
3. The budget, how much you have money to spend and remember to have some emergency money somewhere. Do not put all the money in the same place!
4. Are you going go-with-the-flow style or with a carefully made-up plan
- We have something in between. We know where we are going, but don’t know what we’ll end up doing there. Though we have looked what to do in all of the places, but we haven’t actually decided them.
5. Gather information
- About anything you’ll need
Phone numbers to: bank, embassies, insurance company, emercengy numbers where you’re headed, (your countrys international number),
Adresses: embassies, hotels/ hostels/ other accommodations, places of interest
Customs: culture, what not/to do, what you might need in somewhere (for example: long skirts/shirts in some churches)
- a list where you would like to go (but remember anything can happen and you might not get to see that, so don’t expect to get there 100%)
6. Payments, Insurances etc. important stuff
Interrail / Eurail pass
Visas if needed

Vaccinations/ medication for travel if needed

Flights if needed
Hostels/ Hotels / other accommodations if booked earlier
Travel insurance
Some places where you need to book your visit earlier through the internet (for example: Disneyland Paris is cheaper if booked online)
7. Shopping for essentials
- a good backpack, enough space for you, comfy for your back
- good shoes, trainers or similar, shoes that are soft and designed for long walks
- locks for backs and other locking situations
- a simple camera (if not owned yet) and memory cards
- adapters, chargers
- emercengy kit (plasters, disinfectant, medicine etc.), sewing kit
- guide books, maps, dictionaries (might not need and might weigh a lot, so think if you really need)
- a towel designed for traveling (goes to a small space and dries faster than normal ones)
- compression sacks (sacks that make your clothes compressed into a smaller size, so that you’ll have more room in your backpack)
- change money if needed
- a diary to write everything in
- washing powder for your clothes
8. What you’ll also need
- toiletries/ sanitaries, in small containers (toothbrush and -paste, sun cream, body butter, lip-cream, shampoo, soap etc.)
- medicine
- passport and other important documents (like prescriptions for some medicines etc.)
- a daypack
- penknife, flashlight might come in handy
- sunglasses, scarf for sunny weathers
- sleeping bag

- an old phone (because new smartphones attract thieves)
- chargers for any electric equipment
- some student-cards are handy even in abroad giving you discount
- cards to play with or something small to keep you awake in trains
- pens, scisors, tape, paper, safety pins
- handkerchiefs (also toilet paper if you want)
- plastic bags
- a plastic mug. You could cook something in a hostel in it and drink some juice from it.
- if you feel safe and want, a tablet (or Ipod touch…). In it you can put maps, books etc. You can also communicate with family with it, write a blog or something else. You can get into internet when Wi-fi is around. Down side is the same as for a smartphone, thieves like them so think hard before taking one with you.
9. Do not take
- lots of makeup, really no one sees you. Little makeup is okay, but really, do you need it? It also takes time.
- books, they’re heavy
- computer, a smartphone etc. You’re experiencing stuff, you will not need a smartphone during your stay, really.
- for girls, you don’t need all of your clothes and shoes. Only the comfy and practical ones. No high heels, maybe don’t take dresses as well, I don’t know.
- no hairstraightners, curlers or anything like them
- fullfillable waterbottle. When you’re abroad it’s safer if you only drink bottled drinks.
- do not take the whole insides of your wallet, only the essentials and leave others home. Also leave all the unneeded keys as well.
10. Clothing
- shirts: t-shirts, tank top, sweather, hoodie, jacket depending on time of the year and destination
- bottom: shorts, skirt, sweat pants, jeggings, leggings etc. No jeans (in warm places at least), they’ll be uncomfortable. Pockets are good, hidden pockets even better
- shoes: good ones that you can walk the whole trip with. You can take two or couple more if you want, but think how much you’re packing in your backpack.
- underwear, swimwear, socks, scarf
- flip-flops are usefull if you come across a hostel that has dirty showers
Everything in reasonable quantities! You won’t need everything. The more you pack the more your backpack will weigh.
11. Other
- watch and read other travel stories on the internet for more information, tips and inspiration: blogs, Youtube, sites
- ask family, friens, acquintances of their travels. Maybe they have something cool to inspire you on your trip
- make your bank aware that you’re going abroad, that they won’t think your card is stolen and close it
- it would be good if you’d take good walks before your trip that your legs will become used to walking and that your health would be good when you’re out there
- remember that in interrail/eurail passes not all the trains are covered with it, like night trains and private railroads
- if you’re going coach surfing, you might take something small with you to give the host, for example candy from your country or a small keychain
- meeting old international friends is a cool idea, and maybe they can help you in their home countries somehow. Remember to communicate with them in a good time before the trip.

Feel free to add things if I forgot :)

Ever since Harry once said on the Late Late show that he did a couple of tattoos himself, I can't help but imagine the missus (in their early dating years) drawing a couple of tattoos on Harry himself. Some could be good, some could be failures but he'd love them all the same cause she did them (while being anything but a tattoo artist)

He’s invited her over to his house for the night, since he has a free few days, to crack open a bottle of wine and to share some takeaway from the Chinese down the road and to exchange some kisses and cuddles and some intimate touches on the sofa. It’s not the first time she’s stayed over and it’s not the first time she’s had sex with him and it’s not the first time she’s ever entered his home as a guest so they’re pretty comfortable around one another and she already feels at home when she gets the delicious scent of his home; she has a special tea/coffee mug in his kitchen cabinet, she has a drawer in his bathroom for any leftover face creams or shampoos that she brings and forgets, she has a section of his wardrobe for any clothes he finds around his bedroom or hidden in his laundry basket and she has a drawer in his bedroom that holds underwear and socks that he finds balled up under his bed after a night when things got too lust-filled and rushed and clothes are being ripped off.

When they’ve finished off a couple of bottles, and when their lips and teeth and tongues have turned a shade of dark grape, their minds have fallen open and the filters have disappeared. The chatter turning from soft and safe topics to raunchy and racy and cheeky topics; questions along the lines of wanks coming out of her mouth to questions along the lines of the strangest thing she’s ever used to masturbate with when he’s away. Questions along the lines of kinks that then turn into full blown conversations about whether or not they’d tried out that specific kink in the bedroom and whether or not they’d like to try it out.

It’s when they’re on their third bottle, the time ticking closer to midnight, feet kicked up on the coffee table and their old t-shirts covered in droplets of red wine from where they’d tipsily sloshed their wine glass and split some of the liquid, lucky enough not to spill it on the expensive sofa they were swallowed up by, when she asks him about his tattoos. Commenting about how he definitely had a pain kick - followed by a squeeze to his crotch that has him jolting up and smirking at - before she asked him about his toe tattoo that looked unprofessional against the rest of his ink.

“Did it m’self, din’t I?” He slurs, wiggling his toes with a laugh as she rolls her eyes and nudging his shoulder with her nose. Lips pressing against his skin as she snickers, “I did. Brought m’self a machine back when I met Tom.”

“Where s’it now?”

“In the cupboard under the telly,” he uses his wine glass to point towards the specific cabinet door. The golden doorknob shining under the light of the living room, but matching perfectly with the matte white wood of the door, “why?”

“Wan’a draw on yeh,” she grins, thrusting her wine glass into his free hand and standing to her feet, almost falling flat over the leg off the coffee table. Cackling to herself as she scuffs across the carpet, pulling open the door and grinning when she picks it up from the shelf, “s’like an episode o’ tha’ telly show. Tattoo Fixers. Maybe we could go on there together.”

“Could go on there m’self with the amount of hideous things I ‘ave on me,” he admits, her figure stepping over his legs as she fell down to the floor beside his legs. Her own legs curled beneath her as she grabs his ankle and pulls it towards her, “want me t’ set it up? Think I can remember whilst m’three bottles deep.”

“Uh-huh,” she mutters, handing over the equipment to him, setting it on his knees as he puts the wine glasses on the coffee table coasters.

The black ink already inside it and ready to be used on his skin. Fingers twiddling around specific sections, wobbly and almost dropping tiny pieces from between his fingertips. The needle beginning to buzz in his hand as he turns the machine on and gently and cautiously hands it back to her, being careful not to catch her with the pin-point.

“Where are yeh drawin’ your stuff?”

“Your other big toe. Got a funny idea,” she smirks up at him, “can’t peek at it though. Fall asleep or somethin’ because I don’t wan’a give it away right now.”

“Ah-ah. You tell me what you’re going to draw first. It’s going on my body,” he grunts, pulling his foot from her grip as she frowns, “what are y-”

“S’gon’a be a camel,” she giggles.

“A camel? Why? I don’t get it, babe.”

“Camel-toe,” she cackles, a belly laugh escaping her as she curls over and rests her forehead on his knee. Her laughter contagious as he begins to laugh with her, his mind not really processing just what was going on his foot, but allowing her to go ahead, “you’re gon’a love it. S’gon’a be really artistic for a girl who, you know, who’s not an artist. It’ll be like a real mini-camel is on your toe.”

“Yeh’re unbelievable,” he mutters beneath his breath, “absolutely unbelievable.” xx

Hi. I love your blog! I was wondering if maybe you could write about jughead getting falsely accused of something and sheriff Keller wanting to take him down to the station but Betty is there and tries to help jughead but she ends up getting arrested too.

Thank you! And this is a fun one! .
***

Leaning his head back against the cell wall, he closed his eyes. How did this happen? How was he here? He should’ve been more careful, touching evidence was a rookie mistake. Who knew how long he would be here for. It’s not like he had anyone to bail him out.

Suddenly he was shaken from his thoughts by the sound of a familiar voice coming from the other room.

“This is ludicrous! You cannot hold someone as a suspect under these charges, this is unlawful imprisonment!”

He hopped up moving to stand by the bars, Betty?!

“I cannot sit by and allow this to happen! We showed you that car sheriff Keller! Why would Jughead walk you into his own crime scene?! that’s just.. well it’s stupid!”

He heard sheriff Keller trying to calm down the angry blonde

“Betty, sit down.”

“Sit down?! You want me to sit down, while Jughead is anxiously waiting in that jail cell, it isn’t his fault that you can’t do your job and find the actual murderer in this case.”

Jughead couldn’t help the grin that spread on his face, he loved fiery Betty. And she was defending him, risking herself for him.

“That’s enough Elizabeth!” He could tell sheriff Keller was getting angry.

“Or maybe you’re just angry that we have more of a lead than you do! You want to take credit for his detective skills! ….Hey! What are you doing?!”

Suddenly the arguing pair was standing in front of him, Keller dragging Betty by the arm.

He locked eyes with her and could tell she was fuming, suddenly she was being shoved into his cell ,and he was reaching out steady her steps.

“I’m leaving you in here until you calm down! Think very carefully about your actions.”

Betty whipped towards the sheriff, her ponytail smacking his face

“You might as well leave me in here until you release Jughead as well. I will not bow down towards injustice.” With that she sat down on the bench, crossing her arms and staring the sheriff directly in his eyes.

Keller huffed out a string of curses before leaving the teens and walking back to his desk.

Jughead looked at Betty, smiling bigger than he had since he’d been arrested.

“Fancy meeting you here.”

Betty actually smiled for a second, as he came to sit down next to her. Before she frowned, leaning against his shoulder

“This is ridiculous. You shouldn’t be in here, it’s unwarranted.”

He placed a hand on her back, rubbing circles as he inhaled the familiar peaches and cream of her shampoo. It was calming and he couldn’t be more grateful for this amazing girl.

“I think it may have something to do with my dad, they had to arrest someone. Why not the deadbeats son. No ones gonna question that, no one cares enough.” He gave a humorless laugh.

Betty twisted in his grip, her hands coming up to cup his face

“I care, juggie.”

He closed his eyes, relishing in the feel of her warm, soft palms. Thumbs caressing his cheeks.

“I know.”

Sanvers Week: Day Two

Nerd Girlfriends

“Mr. Schott, please be careful with your chemicals today. I cannot afford another trip to the emergency room.”

“Relax, Dr. J’onzz,” Winn replies. “We’re not even working with anything flammable today.”

“And when has that stopped you before?” Alex calls across the room at her little brother. Half the class snickers under their breath as Winn sticks his tongue out at her. Kara rolls her eyes and nudges him so that he pays attention to the formula she’s writing down. She’s been working on ‘safe’ alternatives to prevent any more of Winn Schott’s infamous accidents.

Somehow, he always manages to set something on fire, anyway.

“Focus, Danvers,” Maggie Sawyer—Alex’s lab partner and…well, she doesn’t know quite what else they are to one another just yet, but it’s more than platonic, that’s for sure—says, holding up a beaker. She looks adorable in her yellow-green lab goggles and lab coat. Alex shoots her a tiny smirk as she looks down at her notebook in her lap. They’re the stars in Dr. J’onzz’s AP Chemistry class. They would be the youngest, if it weren’t for Winn and Kara and that Luthor girl who has practically skipped most of junior high to be there.

She finds it hard to focus when Maggie is so close to her and she plays with her own goggles as she takes note of the chemical formula she’d hastily written down after their last ‘study session’—which was more of them making out on Alex’s basement couch than actually working on their chemistry homework, really. Some of the formula, she remembers by heart—because they’ve worked so long and so hard on perfecting it—but most of it just looks like squiggles to her.

“What does this say?” she murmurs to Maggie, leaning in and pointing to the third line on the page, while also attempting to ignore the hypnotizing scent of her perfume. Or was it pheromones? Alex couldn’t decide, but it was very distracting.

It gets worse when Maggie leans closer, her eyes trained on the formula and her head tilted in that way that places her hair right beneath Alex’s nose, so now she can smell the strawberries and cream shampoo that she knows Maggie uses.

God, she is so fucking gay. How does she even function around this girl?

“Sodium Chloride?” Maggie asks, furrowing her brow as she looks back up at Alex. Their noses are practically brushing and Alex can see a glint of mischief in her eyes when the shorter girl realizes that she’s blushing. “You okay, Danvers?”

“What?” Alex splutters. “Yeah! Yeah, I’m fine. I’m good. I’m chill.”

“Chill?” Maggie teases. “Seriously? Nerd.” But her smile is soft and Alex feels the brush of her fingers on the back of her hand and she fights the shive that goes down her spine.

She clears her throat and pulls away, taking a deep breath. “Um, so, salt then? We need salt.”

“That’s what Sodium Chloride is typically known as, yes,” Maggie snorts, standing up. “And vinegar, I believe. Unless I’m remembering wrong?”

“No, I think that’s what we decided on,” Alex looks back down at her notebook, but it’s more to stop herself from gazing longingly—gayly—at her…Maggie, than anything else. When Maggie is a few feet away, though, requesting salt and vinegar from Dr. J’onzz’s supply cabinet, Alex watches her with a tiny smirk on her lips.

She and Maggie have been doing this…this thing with one another since they were first paired up at the beginning of the year. She had moved here from Nebraska with her Aunt Helen—an absurdly religious woman that glared at Alex anytime she saw her, just because Alex’s hair was cut short “like a boy’s”. Maggie had been outed at her old school and her father had had a negative reaction, to say the very least. He’d kicked her out within a week and then her mother’s sister had begrudgingly taken her in, under the requirement that Maggie attend church every Sunday.

What other choice did a fourteen-year-old girl have?

Now, at fifteen, Maggie is a bit more confident in her sexuality, though she still hasn’t informed her aunt about the nature of their relationship. That’s okay with Alex, though. She still isn’t sure what they are, either; she just knows that Maggie makes her feel the way she’d been certain boys were supposed to make her feel, but never did. Not like they do for Kara or Winn.

“Hey!”

Alex jumps, nearly falling off of her stool. She hadn’t even noticed Maggie returning to their table, so lost in her thoughts was she. Maggie catches her with one strong arm, giving her a dimpled grin as she rights her and perches herself on the adjacent stool. She places the salt and vinegar on the table and holds up a tiny vial of some kind of blue liquid.

“Look what Dr. J gave me,” she says. “I told him about what we were working on and he said this would make it, like, ten times better. I bet it’s some kind of alien thing.”

“For the last time, Sawyer,” Alex sighs, “Dr. J’onzz is not an alien. He’s just a regular guy who wears warm sweaters, drinks tea, and keeps a fire extinguisher on hand for Winn.”

“You didn’t see his eyes glow last week.”

“That was probably a trick of the light. There are no aliens in Midvale.” Maggie raises her eyebrows and gestures to Kara, who was surreptitiously using her heat vision to light hers and Winn’s Bunsen burner. Alex presses her face into the palm of her hand. “Okay,” she says. “There’s one alien. But it’s not Dr. J’onzz.”

“Whatever you say, Danvers,” Maggie murmurs, measuring out a couple mL of vinegar. Alex rolls her eyes and grabs the salt, sticking a tablespoon into the tin and leveling it out to pour into their beaker. They watch as the liquid inside turns light pink as a puff of smoke rises up. “Whoa,” Maggie says. “It actually works!”

“Was there ever any doubt?” Alex laughs. “What’s that thing that Dr. J’onzz gave you?”

“Dunno,” Maggie says, “but he told me to only put in one or two drops. He didn’t exactly tell me what it would do. Maybe something…out of this world.” She gives Alex a cheesy smile as the taller girl groans.

“I’m going to break up with you, I swear to Gertrude Elion.” When there’s no response from Maggie, Alex looks back up to find her staring. “What?”

“I just…um, I wasn’t aware…are we dating?”

Alex’s cheeks turn pink as she realizes what she’s just said. “Um, I dunno. I…I kind of just assumed.” She shakes her head, trying to school her features even as her heart drops into her stomach. “But I shouldn’t have. I’m sorry.”

“No, Alex, it’s…it’s fine.” Maggie’s hand wraps around hers under the table and Alex looks up to see her dimpled grin and shiny eyes. She was the best at shiny eyes and dimpled grins. “I just wasn’t sure if you wanted to…”

“Of course I do,” Alex blurts, and her face must be beet red right now. “I mean, if you want to.”

“Oh, for Rao’s sake!” Kara bursts out from across the room. “Everybody knows you two are dating! Just make it official already!”

Alex glares at her sister, who has turned an even deeper shade of red than herself, her shoulders slumped as she gives her a sheepish smile and wave. Maggie snorts, pressing her lips against Alex’s shoulder and shaking her head.

“Super-hearing?” she whispers.

“Yeah,” Alex sighs, in return, but she’s smiling now as she pulls away to look Maggie in the eyes. “So,” she says, looking down, shyly, at her feet, “girlfriends?”

“Why, Alex Danvers,” Maggie gasps, like some kind of Southern Belle, putting on a heavy country accent, “I thought you’d never ask!”

Alex laughs and leans forward, pressing a quick peck to Maggie’s lips, which Dr. J’onzz pretends to ignore as several of their classmates clap and let out sounds of jubilation.

“Finally,” Alex hears Kara mutter and she sends her another glare before turning back to Maggie.

“Do you want to do the honors?” she asks, handing her the dropper.

“I would love to,” Maggie replies, taking it and dipping it into the vial that the teacher had given them, then placing it above their vial. “Ready for this?”

“Can’t be any worse than what Schott’s about to do to his and Kara’s project,” Alex murmurs, glancing over Maggie’s shoulder, to where Winn is starting to go all ‘mad scientist’ as he tends to do when left alone with various ingredients. Even Kara can’t stop what’s about to happen.

Maggie snickers as she squeezes two drops into the pink liquid and backs away as there’s another puff of smoke that pours from the mouth of the beaker, which gains the attention of several pairs of eyes. Dr. J’onzz stops in front of their table as the smoke clears and a rainbow appears, just at the mouth of the beaker.

“Brilliant!” the teacher says, clapping his hands. “I knew you had the right formula. A-Plus, Miss Danvers, Miss Sawyer. And, uh, congratulations.” He winks at them and Alex blushes as Maggie smiles at her, linking their fingers under the table and pressing her forehead to her shoulder.

Before they can get too cozy, however, there is the sound of an explosion from the other side of the room and they turn to see Kara frowning at Winn, his face covered in black soot and a beaker still in his hand. The shoulder of her flame-retardant sweater (made specially by Eliza Danvers) has a tiny flame on it and Kara reaches up to put it out with her bare fingers as she shakes her head at her lab partner.

Mr. Schott!” Dr. J’onzz booms, reaching for the fire extinguisher.

“…oops?”

Make it Alone part 4

She was humming something soft and sweet as her hands made quick work of the fruit in front her.

“I love fruit salad, don’t you?” She had asked earlier, as they settled in her spacious kitchen, woodpanneled walls lining the perimeter and the largest refrigerator he had ever seen displayed right in the center.

“Never had it.” Jughead admitted casually, turning quickly when he heard the bag of hot dog buns hit the floor with a subtle thud, Betty stood before him clearly shocked, her mouth was wide open and her eyes scanned his face for some kind of lie.

“Just wasn’t my kind of childhood I guess.” He spoke nonchalantly but the familiar ache of his past reared its head. How many nights had he stayed up starving and nearly begging for any kind of fresh food? He could remember vividly children’s lunch boxes packed to the brim with fresh fruit and homemade sandwhiches made with nonstale bread, he was always an envious child , perhaps it had something to do with his own lunch of saltine crackers and ketchup packets from any fast food place.

Betty had whipped around quickly and begun dropping bag after bag of fresh fruit on the table, the dark haired boys eyes widening at the selection.

“Well you may not have had a fruit salad past but you’re sure to have a fruit salad future.” She didn’t look up, simply began chopping and tossing fruits into a bowl. “With whatever’s left over we can make sangria.”

Jughead stared at the scene before him with a hesitant smile on his lips, this was… normal. It was all so comfortable and he wasn’t sure how to react to that.

Betty looked up at him now, her soft smile instantly putting his mind at ease. “I’m going to invite Kevin over I think, if that’s okay with you. He’s my best friend and he’s absolutely obsessed with barbecue, unfortunately neither of us can barbecue so you’re kind of a treat.”

Jughead scratched the back of his neck nervously, people hated him, scratch that, everyone hated him.

“He’s great and he knows all about you. He’s been judged far too harshly to ever place that kind of treatment on anyone.” She explained, reading his mind.

Jughead nodded, if Betty trusted him so could he. He was slicing tomatoes a few feet away from her when he felt her slide closer, bringing her fruit with her.

“Maybe you don’t want to talk about this, and thats okay but I was just wondering… was prison as awful as it looks.” Her eyes were searching his and he found he couldn’t lie to her even if he wanted too.

“Yeah. It was awful. It was scary and lonely but the worst part was….” he paused and took a shuddery breath Betty’s tiny warm hands pressed down on his shoulder as she rubbed soothing circles over his T shirt, he placed his hand over hers and continued “ the worst part was knowing that if or when I got out… my world was so much scarier on the outside.”

Betty nodded, her eyes held such understanding he was taken aback

“My fiancé cheated on me with my best friend for four years and when she got pregnant he left me for her, I wanted a baby so desperately. I tried everything and it just wasn’t working and then to see her sitting there on MY couch with MY fiancé and a baby in her belly that was supposed to be MINE? I know it’s not the same but… I get what it’s like to be living in a world that’s awful but staying there just because you know it could be worse.” With watery eyes Betty turned back to the cutting board and sawed at a watermelon.

Without a second thought Jughead was gripping her hand over the knife, gently prying it from her hands as he wrapped his arms around her from behind, completely enveloping her in his embrace. It felt good to carry some of her pain, he felt like he was worth more than his own baggage.

“I’m sorry” she whispered “you came here to have a good time and here I am unloading on you like some weepy gypsy.” Jughead shook his head turning her bidybsonit was pressed against his chest

“Anytime with you is a good time Betty Cooper.” He smiled into her hair, inhaling the peaches and cream of her shampoo.

She pulled away with a giggle
“Well it is your first time hanging out with me, who says you won’t get bored of me?” She raised a challenging brow and jughead flexed his hands on her hips, tightening his hold.

“Never.” He whispered, his lips a breath away from hers, Betty’s eyes closed slowly as she leaned forward, just as their lips were about to meet Betty’s front door swung open

“Parties here! And I brought pie sooooo essentially I’m the best guest you got.” Kevin walked into the kitchen, his boyfriend Joaquin trailing behind him , an adoring smile on his lips.

Jughead and Betty jumped apart, flinging themselves to seperate sides of the room.

Josie walked in next, her pussycats following
“I heard their was a block party and a welcome to the neighborhood party. You know I’ll be here.” She grinned at Betty, kissing her in the cheek and placing a bottle of wine beside her

“You must be Jughead Jones, welcome to riverdale!” She seemed genuine enough and Jughead nodded his thanks.

A bulky boy walked in next, he was fairly built and had two cases of beer under each arm

“I heard there would be meat so you know I’m here. What’s up man and welcome to the family, Reggie Mantle.”

Jughead was stunned silent at the hospitality

Kevin snorted
“I didn’t take you for a meat chaser Reg, but I guess there’s a lot you find out about a guy at a backyard barbecue.”

Reggie chased Kevin outside as Joaquin rolled his eyes and went to stand by the pussycats who were calling someone named Dilton?

Betty came to stand beside him

“I’m sorry, i should have known, Kevin is such a blabber mouth. I can send them all home.” Betty took a step forward but Jughead halted her movements

“No, I think… I think it could be good.” He cleared his throat

New beginnings, a fresh start, it was about time.

Really tho, living with Hide, Kaneki must wake up to some really weird shit in the morning if he doesn’t get up before Hide. Who knows what mess he’s made in the kitchen? Did he shower and accidentally use shaving cream as shampoo again? Or did he pass out on the couch with breakfast on his lap (aka the breakfast is no longer on his lap).

If Kaneki wakes up and the bed’s empty, he’s just hit with an immediate feeling of: oh. Oh no. Damn it, Hide.

Lance's Birthday

if they have an episode on this (really hoping they will), I want it to put langst to s h a m e.
this is how I see the episode to be

• all paladins will pretend they forgot about Lance’s birthday, ending in him being pretty moody for a long time

• when they finally surprise him with presents, and little birthday hats and confetti, he actually starts to bawl, them racing to give him a group hug

• Keith gives him an amazing gift from the space mall, Pidge helping him of course, finding a really well handcrafted guitar, all the paladins, plus Allura and Coran, sign their names on the sides, Lance holding onto it like a new born baby

• Pidge gets him a stuffed blue lion, and because he has a lot of siblings back on Earth, he would hold it like he was remembering his younger brothers and sisters who would always play with him, and the toys they left around the house

• Allura and Coran give him some new additions to his armor, ‘The Tailor’ printed on the back

• Hunk gets him some beautiful, not to mention expensive, skin care creams, lotions, shampoos, and conditioners, Lance sniffling because he was running out

• Shiro, who I hope gets to be in the episode, gives Lance the most heartwarming gift of all, gives him a couple of photos of everyone with a little sign that says something positive or what they really enjoy about Lance, Shiro giving him a letter of how amazing he has improved, and finally, a picture frame with everyone together like a regular family photo inside

• p.s. I’m not crying, I just got something in my eye

I like that one

It had been a few years after the year of Jason Blossoms death. Betty and Jughead lived together in a small apartment close to the Riverdale University campus. They were sitting on their soft worn out couch watching UP on their small TV.

Betty snuggled closer into Jughead’s side leaning her head on his chest. He gave her a small kiss on the top of her head, breathing in the scent of her peaches and cream shampoo.

Betty let a few tears fall as they watched the married life montage. Knowing that at sometime she would either have to leave Jughead or he would leave her like Ellie left Carl made more salty tears fall down her soft cheeks. She turned her head so it was in the crook of Jughead’s neck as he leaned his head against hers.

“We’re going to be together for a long time. Right Jug?” Betty asked out of the blue, now looking up at her long term boyfriend.

Jughead gave her another small kiss on the head and leaned his head back on hers. “Longer then a long time Bets.” He said turning his attention back to the movie.

About 30 minutes later they were still lying on the couch cuddling. They were at the part when the talking dog Dug came in. Seeing the dog on the TV gave Betty an amazing idea.

“Hey Jug?” Betty asked, looking back up at the beanie boy.

“Yeah Bets?” he said, looking down at her and her batting eyelashes.

“Wanna get a dog?” she said, her right hand playing with one of his suspenders.

Jughead raised one of his eyebrows and grabbed her hand. “Why do you suddenly want a dog?” he asked, rubbing his thumb over her soft hand.

“I don’t know, the dog in the movie is just so cute.” she said, turning her head back to the screen.

Jughead was still looking at the ponytailed beauty. “Are you sure that’s it?” he asked, playing with a few strands of her honey blonde hair.

Betty just sighed and continued to look at the movie. “I don’t know. You said we would be together for longer then a long time. I was thinking that if we got a dog together it would prove that were really committed to each other. It would be like a promise ring.” she said as she shrugged her shoulders, sitting up crossed legged on the couch.

“Like a promise dog?” Jughead asked, pulling his girlfriend back into his chest, chuckling.

Betty giggled at the thought of a promise dog. “Yeah. But, if you don’t want to, we don’t have too.” she said, going back to playing with his suspenders.

“No Bets, let’s do it. Let’s get a dog. I am totally in love with you and if we have to get a dog to prove that let’s do it. Plus, I love dogs.” he said, kissing her forehead. “We’ll head to the shelter tomorrow. Deal?” he asked.

She just shook her head yes and snuggled in closer to Jughead’s toned chest, finishing off the movie.

The next day they both got up and started to get ready so they would be the first to get to the shelter. Betty decided to wear a pair of light wash jeans and her famous blue cardigan, while Jughead wore his famous dark jeans and flannel. They both pulled on their coats and headed out to the used jeep wrangler that they shared.

“Ready to get a new family member?” Betty asked, as she sat in the passenger seat finishing tying up one of her white converse.

Jughead felt his cheeks heat up to a scarlet colour as she mentioned family. “Let’s do it.” he said as he started the car.

On the way to the shelter Jughead let Betty roll down the windows and play her music, something that she was never really allowed to do. Jughead had a rule that the driver gets to choose the music. But he realized that she was so excited about this that he let her do what she wanted. It was her day.

They walked into the shelter and Betty’s face instantly lit up. They talked to the lady at the counter and then were allowed access to the back, where all the dogs were kept.

When they walked beside all the cages, Betty had to stop at every single cage and look at all the dogs, while Jughead just walked around aimlessly.

Betty turned around to look at her boyfriend and show him what she thought was the perfect dog. It was a medium size german shepherd that was already potty trained and was named Daisy. When she turned around he noticed Jughead standing outside of the cage at the very back of the hallway. She walked up behind him and hung onto his arm.

“See something you like?” she asked, leaning her head against his shoulder.

Jughead shook his head, bringing himself back to reality. “Hm? Oh, no. We’ll get which ever one you want.” he said. Betty started to tell him about the german shepherd but soon realized that he was still standing outside of the one cage.

“I like that one.” she said, going back to stand next to him, pointing at the dog that he was staring at. Jughead gave her a huge smile and kneeled down so he was eye level with the dog. The dog was a large size and was white and shaggy. He had deep and dark brown eyes, but you couldn’t really see them because of the long fur that was covering most of his eyes. He had a black nose and a cherry red tongue.

Betty went and told the lady at the front that they had chosen a dog, while Jughead stayed in the back, bonding with his new best buddy.

When the lady and Betty came back into the kennel Jughead stood up from his sitting position and grabbed Betty’s hand.

“This one?” the lady asked, pointing to the white shaggy dog. Betty and Jughead shook their heads, smiling. “Lucky for you, this one was just found. He doesn’t have a name, so you get to choose. Well get a name tag for his collar. So, any ideas?” she said, smiling.

Betty turned to Jughead and hung onto his arm. “What are you thinking about right now.” she asked, looking up, tucking the one curly strand of hair behind his ear.

Jug looked down at Betty with a puzzled look on his face. “Um… Hot Dogs.” he said, shrugging his shoulders.

“Ok,” Betty said, turning back to the worker, “His name is Hot Dog.”

The lady just smiled and walked towards the front so she could carve his name into his tag.

“Betty,” Jughead said, “Hot Dog? Really?”

Betty just chuckled and grabbed both his hands. “I want to remember this day forever. If hot dogs were what you were thinking about, I want to remember it.” she said, giving him a small kiss on his cheek.

Betty and Jughead smiled as the lady came back with a bright red collar with a gold tag on it. It read HOT DOG on it, and they loved it. Betty went and bought a matching red leash and other stuff that they would need as Jughead continued playing with him. They payed for all the stuff, attached the leash to his new collar and walked out of the animal shelter, heading to there car.

As Jughead stepped into the car he gave his girlfriend a kiss and messed up their new dogs fur. He started the car and said,

“Welcome home, Hot Dog.”

Hey! I just wanted to say thank you to @bugheadjones-the-third for this idea! I hope you liked it :)
