Peter Parker x Reader

Peter Parker nodded as his friend Ned prattled on about what happened in Chemistry class. A class Peter had to miss because of his crime fighting duties. Truth was, Peter couldn’t care less about Chemistry. He was too busy staring at the laughing girl from across their table. Her head was thrown back and her silvery laugh filled his ears. Y/N’s face lit up in a way that made Peter’s heart fall even more for her. The boy sighed and rested his head on his fist.

“You know you could just talk to her instead of staring at her like a creeper.” Ned stated.

“I-I wasn’t staring, Ned.” Peter defended himself.

“Sure you weren’t, buddy.” Ned chuckled. Peter rolled his eyes.

“If I was, and I’m not saying I was, can you blame me? She’s perfect.” Peter said, dreamily.

“Which is why you should talk to her.” Ned forced.

“With her friends, who hate me by the way, around her? I don’t think so.”

Lonely hearts club - Prologue

Pairing: Yoongi x Reader

Genre: Hananaki disease!Au / Angst / One-shot

Rated T for future mentions of depression and mature themes

Word count: 823

Synopsis: You first met Min Yoongi on a Tuesday night, beneath a sky drunk on distant stars while you were walking down a street that smelled like old cigars and unrequited loves. He was holding his steps in pride, spine straight and combat boots unforgiving above the dark concrete; yet, the second your glance alighted on his mint hair and sad, piercing eyes, you already knew the deep ink of his tattoos was covering more than the milky expanse of his skin.

⤷or: Yoongi hates the taste of lilies digging above his tongue just as much as you love broken, pretty things.

Author’s note: for my loved Mari, a little preview for her request (hananki disease + lonely hearts club + angst + yoongi). Since it’s getting longer that expected, for the mean time I’m just giving you all a little taste *wink wonk*

Hope you’ll like it <3

Broken things always held some sort of mystique to you.

In their pieces scattered all around, in their cracked mechanism, in their splits, unusual angles, sorrowful festers, you used to find the utter proof of fragility – it made your heart sore and fingers aching just to fix. After all, adjusting the unfunctional beings is what you have been doing all your life: even when you were a noisy child, still unware of the ways of the world, your parents often discovered you with hands bruised in an attempt to sew stuffed animals back to life, or with arms and face sticky for all the glue coating old playthings.

Sometimes your mother did scold you though, her worried nature trying to protect you from hurting yourself with the sharpness of wrecked glasses.

“But mom! It was broken, I just wanted to make it fine again.”

“One day,” she used to reply holding your minute hands, “a splinter will pierce your skin, and it’ll break you as well.” At that time, you really didn’t understand her words.

Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency: Dirk Gently [ENTP]

OFFICIAL TYPING by Charity / The Mod

Functional Order: Ne-Ti-Fe-Si

Perceiving Functional Axis:

Extroverted Intuition (Ne) / Introverted Sensing (Si)

Dirk’s entire approach to crime solving is based on his perception that he can solve all crimes by indulging each idea, possibility, and patterns as equal in potential evidence and “connected,” even when he cannot yet see how (he has a solid faith that in the end, it will all come together in a coherent pattern and make sense – and for him, it does because once he obtains sufficient ideas, the conclusion occurs to him); he follows this theory because it has served him well in the past, and is so quick to leap on new ideas and possibilities that others find it difficult to follow his train of thought. He is right about everything, even the fact that some things do not connect properly (and Todd gets annoyed when Dirk accurately assumes and points out flaws in his character).  His inferior Si manifests in his panic when confronted by a situation he cannot reason or argue his way out of, which requires physical exertion from him (being trapped in a room full of lit light bulbs as it becomes smaller). His fear about the gang tracking his movements stems from repeated negative encounters with them. Dirk feels confident in theories, but not in physical engagement – oddly, as his partner becomes more eager to put himself in danger, Dirk starts backtracking, as his inferior Si balks at encountering situations in which he has no former experience for comparison.

Judging Functional Axis:

Introverted Thinking (Ti) / Extroverted Feeling  (Fe):

Dirk’s “theory of crime solving” makes rational sense in his mind, and it perplexes him that others cannot seem to follow his reasoning or agree that his logic is valid; he wants Todd to share in his enthusiasm for the theory, and quickly adapts a mindset of shared purpose. Dirk craves friends to solve crimes with, both to share and affirm his “outrageous” ideas (Ne/Fe interaction) and because any acceptance of his logical concepts as valid is “proof” of their greater validity in his mind. He is happiest when everyone is working with him to solve the crime, as a group effort, but shows more fascination for understanding than he does awareness of social behaviors (he can be frank in making logical judgments about people and circumstances, and only realizes it was rude after the fact… if he realizes it at all).

Hogwarts House: Ravenclaw

House Traits: wit, intelligence, creativity, and wisdom.

Only a Ravenclaw would seek to solve crimes in such an intellectualized, random-theory manner, all for the great fun of engaging their mind in unforeseen puzzles.

bottom erwin week, day two: around the house/domestic

aka studmuffin levi helps erwin open a stubborn jar. welcome to the gun show erwin ;)

It was Erwin’s day off. He’d been napping, but now he was hungry. He wanted a snack.

His cravings were easily solved by a trip to his and Levi’s small kitchen, but after rooting around in the cupboard for a moment before locating a jar of preserved pickles, he stumbled upon a roadblock.

He couldn’t get the lid off.

It was sealed airtight, and after much twisting and turning it hadn’t even budged.

Frowning, Erwin braced himself with his feet apart and tried again, but the only thing he succeeded in doing was making the palm of his hand ache.

What was the problem? Had a titan sealed this jar of pickles closed?
