Tension poured out of the room and slammed against his senses as soon as the doors opened. Redstrike knew right away why it felt the way it did but still extended his field toward Blackguard out of habit. Better safe than sorry, he thought as the anxiety in her field prickled against his curiosity, then quickly retreated as she lifted her helm and trilled at him.
“Hey.” She said softly, shining her visor.
