cr pachinko

I was watching the Pachinko videos on YouTube and you’d assume this soccer match has Touji, Kensuke and Hikari against Asuka, Rei and Shinji, right?

So Shinji has the ball first, then he passes it to Rei, so naturally I assumed the next person was ….

…Asuka…?

…….?????????

Okay, being the wonderful angel athlete he is, obviously Kaworu would have some mad soccer skills but …wow. Kaworu, honey, you’re amazing but this isn’t fair to the lilin.

“HE WASN’T EVEN ON THE TEAM” - Touji probably

CR Pachinko - Evangelion 7
Part 1

I’m in a bit of a love/hate relationship with CR Pachinko. While I love the videos, the prizes, and all the extra promo art, I actually hate playing the game itself as it’s a migraine attack waiting to happen for me.

I now have Evangelion 7 on my iPhone and have it set to autoplay to skip that pesky playing part. It says it has 12 hours worth of video to show. (Ha ha… ha.) Unfortunately, most of it is the same scenes over and over again, just with tiny differences (like the pachinko number sequence that triggered them.)

I’ve watched 2 hours and then 4 hours worth of video before the game kept resetting on me. Oddly, despite being advertised out of the wazoo, outside of all the “You Are Number #1!” images, Kaworu appears very little in the game, so far only in two scenes versus Zeruel. Overall the girls appear a loooot more than either of the guys.

These were taken with the screencap function of my iphone with the game zoomed into full screen coverage of the video. As you can see from the screencap below, the pachinko video normally plays in a really tiny window on phones.

More info about specific scenes as I post them.

i forget in which nge game it was but during one of kaworus fighting scenes shuuketsu no sono he ( theres an ayanami rei version but they played the original during that scene ) and i was wondering why the lyrics are pretty interesting too i wonder if they played it to promo it or if it held more significance anyways i hope you have a nice night / day

The scene you are thinking of can be found HERE. Okay, I lied… it’s actually the Ultimate Prize from the pachinko game - CR Shin Seiki Evangelion - Saigo no Mono. (Sometimes called Evangelion 5 - The Beginning & the End - Saigo no Shisha)

Shuuketsu no Sono He is one of the songs specially created for CR Pachinko. Of interesting note, Saigo no Mono is one of the first games that incorporates events from the Rebuild continuity instead of just the original NGE.

If it’s a flower, it will proceed to fall
If it’s a dream, then there are no limits
If that’s the case, there is nowhere
the tears can return to

Devising a plan, even if the bare minimum is to end all this
What you seek was far too much, if I were to answer you
Tired from swimming in the symbols
The destination that I arrived at, is merely transient

Even if its a long time
that it’s separated
I know all along
I will certainly call out to it
To those bonds
This is what you would call fate

Embrace it
Embrace it tightly, so tightly till you cannot slip away
From an established boundary
Go ahead and melt
It’s an evolution towards the point of nothing
Welcome back

The white gentleness
Continues to incessantly rain upon the city
Wrapping everything
Those who couldn’t fight for their desires
are headed towards their dreams now
Welcome back
Do as your heart desires

The shadow that is reflected in your eyes
What are you thinking? What are you seeing?
To your feelings, to your beliefs
To what you’ve devoted yourself to, you’ve become a coward

I’ve waited
for a long time,
smiling
Let’s become the support for the rest
If that’s the case,
then pray to the heavens alone.

Someday
The exit of the cycle of life
Furthermore, the path before it also
Surely
We will meet each other, so believe in me. Let’s cry
Good night

The red sadness
Whirling between the waves
It only breaks on the shore and retreats
Till love
and to love becomes one
Good night
Since the time is ripe

Even if its a long time
that it’s separated
I know all along
I will certainly call out to it
To those bonds
This is what you would call fate

Embrace it
Embrace it tightly, so tightly till you cannot slip away
From an established boundary
Go ahead and melt
It’s an evolution towards the point of nothing
Welcome back

The white gentleness
Continues to incessantly rain upon the city
Wrapping everything
Those who couldn’t fight for their desires
are headed towards their dreams now
Welcome back
Do as your heart desires

CR Pachinko - Evangelion 7
Part 2

The two battle scenes versus Zeruel so far. The first one plays nearly identical to Rebuild 2.0 but Kaworu throws the Spear of Cassius at Zeruel instead of Unit 01 and smiles. (Presumably because he managed to completely stop Third Impact in this version).

Second one has Shinji attacking Zeruel and getting tossed into the air by its toilet-paper arms. Mark 06 catches Unit 01 and carries it back bridal style (which happens so fast I got no screengrabs) then fights Zeruel with the Spear of Cassius on the ground.1

Hi there! I have a question about that recent gif set with Kaworu. The one where we can see Ramiel in front and Kaworu with the EVA in the back of the explosion. I'm just terribly confused because the Ramiel fight was in 1.0, but I don't remember seeing Kaworu there and I'd really love to find this clip now so I hope you can explain this to me. XD

That scene is the Ultimate Prize from the pachinko game - CR Shin Seiki Evangelion - Saigo no Mono. (Sometimes called Evangelion 5 - The Beginning & the End - Saigo no Shisha). Pachinko is basically a Japanese version of pinball and it’s very popular over. You can see more Eva pachinko info under my CR Pachinko tag.

What are the posts that you tag as CR Pachinko? Is it a company or some other official thing? (I got into Evangelion like a month ago so I don't know...)

The posts in my CR Evangelion tag are images and videos from the official Evangelion pachinko games. Pachinko is a bit like Japan’s version of pinball. You have large machines in arcades/pachinko parlors and home versions for the Playstation/PSP or for smart phones.

You can read up more on pachinko at the following link.
