When the world was created, there was only few who were brought into this creation of nature. The most known were the seven deadly sins Pride, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Envy, Sloth, and Wrath who were plaguing the world with their existence. However, to counteract their disasters a young woman was made from the purest water, the cleanest earth, and the quietest winds. She was mother nature, but her name to the simple people of this new world was (Y/N), (Y/N) (L/N) and she was the hope for the Earth.
Author’s Note: I’m tagging them, because they were the ones who encouraged me to do this!! I’m excited for it, and I hope you are! Also the characters will be a tad OOC considering they’ll be what there sin is, but it is an AU
So…Moon apparently has access to a super poison that can’t be cured via Pokemon Centers nor conventional healing items, and the main reason she’s in Alola is to find ingredients to make the medicine that can counteract it.
Because she accidentally exposed that super poison on a Pokemon.

@thatsthat24 is an absolute sweetheart and I am honestly mystified at the fact that he keeps saying such nice things about my art?? (also ngl pretty mystified as to how he keeps seeing it in the first place cause honestly??? I’m shook)
(or: I woke up to this comment on my Prinxiety speedpaint over on YouTube and I’m having a great day basically)
Fields where men get paid millions to do the exact same thing as women who get paid… fewer millions, are a nice illustration of how blatant misogyny can be, but uh… I don’t actually want those women to get paid more to match the unconscionable wealth of those men.
It’s not one of my feminist goals for a few incredibly privileged women to join their incredibly privileged male peers in hoarding ridiculous amounts of wealth for status and fun while people are dying for want of food and appropriate medical care and housing.
I’m more interested in building a world where it’s unthinkable to selfishly hoard the resources others are dying for. My feminist goal is for no woman anywhere to be trapped in an abusive home because she can’t afford to leave, for no woman anywhere to be imprisoned for crimes of poverty, for no woman anywhere to slowly die from malnutrition or exposure or treatable illness.
The women who receive far more money than they need and do not distribute the excess to those who desperately need it, the women who choose status and power and luxury over solidarity and mutual aid – those women do not need or deserve my help in hoarding even more wealth. They are not my feminist sisters; they are oppressors of poor women everywhere.
The resources our society as a whole has created are being funnelled year by year into a smaller and smaller pool of hyperrich people who do nothing to counteract the injustice of their wealth. My goal is not to make that tiny pool of resource-hoarders half women.
It’s to find ways to change the society that allows and even encourages the hoarding of the tools people need to survive. My other goal in the meantime is to contribute to systems of mutual aid and engage in other forms of activism to help protect actually vulnerable women from misogyny and all other intersecting forms of oppression.
**Check your Sun sign, your Sun sign’s polarity, and your Ascendant
Aries: The head is ruled by Aries. They are susceptible to a lot of headaches, migraines, and sinus issues, and could be susceptible to minor head and facial injuries, too. Arians are also prone to eye strain and problems with the teeth, and they have a tendency to overwork themselves. Arians easily get red in the face when they’re excited or angry, and when they have a fever, it often becomes very high in a very short amount of time.
Advice: Use protective headgear if you’re participating in strenuous sports. Be sure to take breaks when working, and don’t try to take on more than you can handle. Eat meals in a serene atmosphere. Drink plenty of water and rest often.
Taurus: The throat and neck are ruled by Taurus. Taureans may be subject to a sore throats, colds, laryngitis, thyroid problems, swollen glands, stiff necks (especially when they’re stressed) and other minor afflictions. They’re also prone to tonsillitis and ear aches. Taureans’ keen taste buds lead to a love of food, and that, paired with possible problems with the Thyroid gland, which is also ruled by Taurus, as well as a generally sedentary lifestyle, can cause weight gain. Because they are ruled by Venus, Taureans may also have back strain.
Advice: Bundle up during the winter to avoid getting sick. Be careful of your eating habits. Remember everything should be done in moderation. Take walks outside to keep yourself active. Take the time to give yourself a quick massage or do some stretches if you’re experiencing neck or back pain.
Gemini: The hands, arms, shoulders and lungs are ruled by Gemini. Geminis may have problems with respiratory disease and may be prone to bronchitis and asthma, as well as difficulty breathing when stressed. They’re susceptible to accidents involving the hands such as sprained wrists, jammed fingers, and broken bones, as well as minor bruises, scrapes and cuts. Gemini is ruled by Mercury, which rules the brain and nervous system, so Geminis may also be prone to anxiety and nervousness, which can make them physically sick.
Advice: Because your ruling planet, Mercury, is associated with the brain and nervous system, your mental health is tied to your physical health. Meditation, yoga, or even some simple breathing exercises would be beneficial to your overall health. Smoking tobacco is especially detrimental to Geminis, so avoid that. Playing sports such as tennis or ping pong will help strengthen the arms.
Cancer: The breasts and stomach are ruled by Cancer. Cancerians could be susceptible to weight gain in later years, and it may be hard for them to lose that excess weight. They are prone to stomach and digestive problems such as ulcers, gallbladder issues, and nausea. Cancerians are likely to overindulge in wine and alcohol, which causes further stomach problems as well weight gain and water retention. Tension, anxiety, and high emotions are likely to cause illness in those born under this sign.
Advice: Eat your meals in pleasant surroundings—no arguing at the table. Take a walk afterwards to aid in digestion. Walking in a warm rain or by the sea will soothe the lungs, as the air is moist.
Leo: Leo rules the back, spine, and heart, and those born under this sign may have problems with the back and spine due to physical and emotional strain as well as overexertion. They’re especially susceptible to upper back pain and pressures and pains around the heart. They may have heart problems later in their lives.
Advice: Avoiding lifting heavy objects and doing stretches for the back would be beneficial. Try and maintain good posture as well, and make sure to get enough rest and relaxation. Sunbathing is a good way to do so.
Virgo: Virgo rules the nervous system and intestines. Virgoans are worriers, and their nervous tension, anxiety, and emotional stress easily become physical ailments, usually intestinal, as they have sensitive stomachs and are prone to ulcers, indigestion, liver and bowel problems.
Advice: Herbal tea eases the stomach. Light but regular exercise, periods of relaxation, and sunshine are helpful in getting Virgoans to stop worrying and destress, at least for a little while.
Libra: The lower back, butt, and kidneys are ruled by Libra, and Venus, Libra’s ruler, rules the throat, skin, hair, and veins along with those regions as well. Librans are prone to lower back pain (especially when they’re stressed) as well as kidney problems, such as infections, and sensitive skin, along with breakouts. Librans may have delicate immune systems as children, but it usually evens out as they age.
Advice: Drink lots of water and avoid excessive alcohol and carbonated drinks as they are bad for both the skin and the kidneys. Mild exercise, back stretches, and good posture are all beneficial for Librans, and you should try to keep both your surroundings and your company pleasant and harmonious.
Scorpio: Scorpio rules the genitals, and Scorpios may have problems with urinary tract infections and genital infections—skin flare ups, cystitis, and other ailments. They may also experience exhaustion and ill health due to their own volatile emotions and inability to rest and relax, and suppression of those emotions as well as sexual frustration can lead to cruel and erratic behavior.
Advice: Take time to relax and process your emotions. Don’t bottle your feelings up; take time to exercise, and keep your surroundings peaceful. As you are one of water signs, you Scorpios benefit from taking trips to the sea, soaking in the bath, and drinking spring water opposed to tap water.
Sagittarius: Sagittarius rules the liver, hips, and thighs. Sagittarians have sensitive livers, and they may be susceptible to overuse of alcohol and to hepatitis, since their ruling planet, Jupiter, governs the liver. They also may be susceptible to gaining weight in their later years, especially around the hips and thighs. They also are prone to chronic aches, fractures, sprains, and bruising in this area.
Advice: You Sagittarians absolutely need exercise, fresh air, and sunshine daily, and you benefit from being around nature, but beware of the effect of the sun and wind, and be careful when walking, riding, or playing sports that you don’t injure your hips and thighs.
Capricorn: The bones, joints, and knees are ruled by Capricorn. They may be prone to knee injuries and pains, stiff joints, arthritis, rheumatism, and orthopedic problems. Capricorn’s ruler, Saturn, governs the gallbladder, spleen, bones, skin and teeth. Capricorns’ teeth tends to need a lot of care, and their skin tends to be dry. Their own pessimism and worrying can cause body aches and drained energy.
Advice: Be careful in the sun to avoid skin damage, and be sure to keep warm during cold or wet weather. Try to keep good posture, but don’t walk too stiffly. Colorful surroundings, flowers, good friends, and good music are sure to lighten your mood when you’re feeling low.
Aquarius: Aquarius rules the circulatory system, shins, calves, and ankles. The lower part of the leg is more susceptible to cuts, bruises, sprains, and fractures than any other part of the body, and the ankles may be prone to swelling. Aquarians may suffer circulatory problems, low blood pressure, anemia, and hardening of the arteries, and cold weather is particularly hard on them.
Advice: You Aquarians need fresh air and exercise to release tension and increase energy. Brisk walks are good for circulation, but avoid running, as you’re likely to trip and fall. Elevate legs to counteract puffiness. Afternoon naps are good for vitality, but avoid drinking excessive amounts of coffee as it makes you nervous.
Pisces: The feet are ruled by Pisces. They may be prone to aches, bunions, corns, and callouses, as well as athlete’s foot and other fungal infections. Pisceans often afflicted by bruised, stubbed, or broken toes, and are prone to gout too. Pisceans find it hard to stand for long periods of time, and they have problems with ill fitting shoes. They also experience emotion related illnesses as they are one of the water signs. Pisceans may be more likely than others to fall prey to alcohol and drugs.
Advice: You Pisceans should keep a well balanced diet, a mild exercise regime, and be sure to get enough rest so that you can keep up your vitality. Dancing and swimming are good exercises for those of you born under this sign. Be sure to take care of your feet and wear comfortable shoes. A warm footbath before bed aids in relaxation and a good night’s sleep.
Impostor syndrome is a psychological condition where people are unable to believe in their successes. Thus, despite the evidence that points to the fact that they are skilled, capable and competent they write this off as temporary – or timing and good luck. Thus, they constantly struggle with feeling like a fraud.
So what are some ways that you can counteract this syndrome?
1. Admit this is something that you suffer from. When we know we’re not alone, and our symptoms have a name (because they are part of an identified disorder) it can help disperse the feelings of anxiety and shame.
2. Distinguish between facts and feelings. Everyone feels stupid and inept at times. That doesn’t mean we’re stupid. Our feelings aren’t facts. So try to be objective - and seek out the real truth.
3. Don’t demand perfection. It is good to set goals and have high standards for yourself. However, it’s unhealthy to obsess over every little thing. You’ll simply waste a lot of time and never feel quite satisfied. And all of us are human and make lots of mistakes.
4. Take a look at the rules you have imposed upon yourself. Are you saying to yourself: “I have to always get it right”;”I should never ask for help”; or “It is bad to make mistakes”? These are misguided rules that undermine your self-esteem. They set you up for failure as they close the door to help.
5. Change the tapes in your head. Instead of constantly repeating faulty self-destructive thoughts (such as “Wait till they discover just how useless I am”) replace it with a thought that builds esteem and confidence. (Such as, “I’m better at this now as I know what I am doing … It’s so much easier when you’ve been here for a while.”)
6. Don’t look to others to affirm your success. Don’t look to other people to rate and judge your work. Set your own personal goals, and mark your progress and success.
7. Fake it till you make it. Almost every individual who succeed in life has a period when they’re acting, as they don’t feel confident. It doesn’t mean that they’re a failure, a fake or a fraud. It means that they’re still learning, and are not afraid to try.
I used to be the DM for a D&D lunchtime club at my high school. It was my final year as a student there so I had decided to hand over the position of club leader to one of the other members. Just for fun, I set up a final quest where they would have to infiltrate the castle of the Dungeon Master and defeat her to gain control of the D&D world. Since the DM was in control of the world, she was invincible so the PCs had to explore the castle to find items that would counteract her invincibility. One such item was a notebook full of her poorly written fanfiction and thus, this conversation occurred:
Ranger(OOC): Oooh bad fanfics! This character is basically you, right? So does this mean you write fanfics about yourself?
Me: (sighing) Yes I do
Ranger(OOC): Will you read them to us?
Mage(OOC): Come on, please! Just a little bit, you don’t have to read the whole thing!
Druid(OOC): I know! Roll a d20 and if you get an 18 or higher you have to read us part of one of your fanfics
I’d been rolling pretty low all lunch so I thought it would be fine and it would get them to shut up so I went for it. I got a 19. At least it wasn’t a nat 20 I guess…
Me: (head in hands) …what do you want me to read?
Ranger: Didn’t you joke about writing something called ‘Dragonbride’ once? Read that one!
And thats how a group of sixteen year olds got me to read out part of a really bad fanfic I wrote about myself and a character from Skyrim. I hope the Ranger is having fun being the new club leader.
They stayed that way for a good long while, the four of them, curled up somewhat awkwardly on the couch. Virgil would have stayed that way forever, in spite of the fact that his legs were starting to fall asleep under Patton’s weight and it really was getting a little too warm with the combination of their body heat and his hoodie.
Fortunately for his circulation, Logan eventually drew away, and said, “Okay. That’s enough of this.”
Virgil felt his heart sinking, especially as Roman also removed his arms and Patton climbed clumsily to his feet. Even though he had been getting physically uncomfortable, their touch had awakened something in him, some needy clawing thing, and it was nowhere near satisfied yet. He had the worrying suspicion it never would be, and then where would he be?
But Patton reached out and pulled him to his feet. “Virgil,” he said, and to Virgil’s amazement he sounded almost shy. “I would really like to give you a real hug now. May I?”
I don't remember which blog you posted about this on, but on one of your blogs you mentioned a theory that it was actually Jeremiah that encouraged Kara to hide her powers and act normal not Eliza. Having just finished season 1 again, seeing the references to the past and what I remember of season 2, since I've only rewatched the first 2 episodes so far, I can totally see how that would make sense and if you ever post the details of that theory I would read the shit out it.
It’s not really a *theory* in that I think it is the One True Way to read the family dynamics, it’s just … an interpretation of canon that nobody’s really considered that is both interesting and frighteningly easy to spin into a plausible headcanon.
The starting point is Alex.
Namely, it’s the fact that Alex is not a reliable narrator when it comes to any member of her immediate family.
She admits repeatedly in S1 that her own insecurities and jealousy toward Kara colored her perception of their relationship for years. She spent the better part of a decade inaccurately reading her relationship with Eliza, again because her insecurities clouded her judgment.
So, if Alex wasn’t seeing Kara or Eliza clearly for all those years, why should we expect her assessment of Jeremiah to be accurate, either?
Avoid ritual aspects like the plague. You can reject/avoid things that remind you of a previous religion.
Work towards feeling “not panicky about Hell” some days instead of “good about yourself™”. Sometimes there’s not enough water to chug in the world or enough positive thoughts than can undo Sunday School Reflexes. A lot of conversion advice is trite and ableist. You’re not doing something wrong if you have doubt or negative feelings.
Doubt some more. Members of the clergy of many paths are required to take a period of discernment, and so can you. (Quickie Discernment Checklist)
Slip up and use your former religion’s lingo.
Stop and start. You don’t have to convert all at once.
Not be initiated. There are religions that require it, and religions that don’t.
Doubt again and seek multiple sources. This is just good research. It will help counteract the influence of bias. Get a second, or even hundredth opinion. Chances are, you’ll find someone who went through something or is going through something similar.
Chuckle at bad advice. I’ve seen and received a lot from people who wouldn’t know Catholicism if it danced in front of them wearing nothing but Jesus’ folded burial napkin.
