I’m super pissed about this because at the very end of my 5 minute cool down my c25k app went apeshit and then replayed the 22 minute running section, thus screwing up all my stats for the run on the app.
BUT I’m also v happy because this is the BEST PACE I HAVE RUN EVER IN MY LIFE as well as the GREATEST DISTANCE I have run as a result. I was on week 6 day 3 and I ran 22 minutes straight at a consistent pace.
I felt like I was being slow (like when your legs are moving as it should cos they’re running but your body is dragging you down so it feels like you’re not going any faster than walking pace) but look at this! Up until the beginning of last week I did not get anywhere near my house when I reached the 5 min cool down period but I got home faster than the app finished twice in a row! The last 5-7 minute region of my runs is at the beginning a slight uphill and then a very very steep uphill, 2 days ago I ran 1 minute on and off for this area but today I PUSHED HARD and ran up those hills like a rabid dog was chasing me.
I’ve improved so much not only in distance but in speed as well. Considering my only focus for this was running consistently without stopping I am very proud of myself. To see cold hard results is so gratifying 👌
