cotton knit sweater

Annnnnnd it’s done!!
I started on this bad boi on Friday and was able to finish knitting the pieces by Sunday and left Monday for the sewing.
I think for my first attempt at making this it went pretty well. The cables are different from the original virgin killer sweater, but I think it still looks nice.

I written down a pattern (wrote chicken scratch on the closes pieces of paper I could find) as I was knitting and so far its for a medium size. I’m thinking about making more of these and messing with the designs and colors just to see what I like best.

Hi, hi!!! You are seriously THE best!!! Can you imagine the Chocobros reaction if their s/o (fem, if that's okay!) proposed to them, instead of the other way around?? Ooooh my goodness, my heart melts just thinking about it!!! Thank you so so so much!!!! Xo I love your blog!!

*squeels excitedly for all eternity*
I swear, anon, this might just be the most precious fluff request I’ve gotten to date. My face was a blushing MESS when I read this.

When I was younger, I spent every Friday night bingewatching wedding shows on TLC. Suffice to say, I aboslutely adore proposals and all that warm and fuzzy marriage buisness.✨

Thank you endlessly for all of the support and love for the blog - I can’t tell you how much it means to Leigh and I!

Without further delay, let the Valentines week fluff fest begin 💜

Note: the s/o is implied to be fem

Song: “Flightless Bird, American Mouth” by Iron and Wine

  • One would think that when proposing to the prince of Lucis, only an extravegant affair of fresh flowers, imported chocolates, and a sky written message would do
  • Nobody would have guessed that the seemingly simple proposal Noct’s s/o planned, one leagues behind a royal engagement, would have meant so much to him
  • Love’s a funny thing… isn’t it?
  • Around 3 am on a starry summer night, Noct and his s/o found themselves tangled up in a bubble bath, surrounded by dimly flickering candles, loosely strung christmas lights, and floating rose petals atop soapy water
  • The skylight window above provided a stream of delicious moonlight that cast a hazily euphoric glow on the couples bare forms
  • Swaddled in warmth and comfort, Noctis held his s/o lovingly in his lap, running water softened hands along her body, tracing her curves thoughfully, as she pressed occasional kisses to his collarbone and neck

You must be at the play date around now... I hope it’s going well :) Have George and Linda kept any of Ada’s siblings or did they all go to new homes? How are you today in general. I’m knitting a cotton sweater for my dad, for Christmas. It’s slow-going because it’s not very interesting, but I think it will be nice anyway.

Yes, it was an eventful morning.  Alice (James’ daughter) was there, and she is the eldest of the bunch, and very bossy.  This didn’t go over well with Olivia who likes things to transpire in very specific ways, and gets very upset if her schedules are interrupted.  For instance, Olivia had planned to show Watson the sheep as soon as we arrived, and got very upset when Alice insisted on playing indoors.  This resulted in tears and anger from Olivia, and anger protectiveness from Watson, who resorted to her fallback conflict resolution method.  She punched Alice in the face.  It really is becoming a terrible habit for a 20 month old, and we need to do something to nip it in the bud.

John’s been terribly quiet since.  I suppose he was embarrassed.  He kept apologising, while James, George and Linda brushed it off and said it’s normal behaviour at Watson’s age, and that with gentle guidance she will grow out of it (which is very logical and sound advice).

Still, it somewhat soured the whole get together.

Alice was also quite sick with cold, so I do hope she doesn’t pass it on to Watson.  Really, I have no idea why a parent would bring a child over to play when they were dripping with snot and germs, but it’s done now, and one can only hope.

As for Ada’s siblings.  There are two left.  I do believe that they would like to home them all, but they just haven’t found the right people for the last two yet.

I’m sure your father will love his Christmas jumper, so it is effort well worth the effort (and boredom).
