@mardisoir and @just-french-me-up are being super wonderful, kind and encouraging and thus I have finally gotten round to making a Ravenclaw Jean Prouvaire
Also dedicated to my wonderful other half @montparnassee who has been a constant support system and is just an absolutely beautiful human being ❤︎

I know a lot of you head-cannon Jehan in Hufflepuff but I only have a Ravenclaw tie so I couldn’t do both ❤︎

C'mon in and let your Father (and Son and Holy Ghost) guide you in a step-by-step process of making the best gosh darn brownies the congregation has ever seen.

Simply lust-worthy…. if lust weren’t a sin and all that.

*ahem*

So I Accidentally Entered ACEN’s Hallway Cosplay Contest

And my Mon Mothma won Best Journeyman entry for Friday.

Now just to be clear: I did not intend to enter Mon Mothma in the ACEN Hall Cosplay Contest. I misread the guidebook and was under the impression that the hall judging was specifically for getting feedback from a panel of judges for cosplay that did not meet the Masquerade requirements and that there was no competition element. But I’m certainly not complaining about placing. In fact I’m thrilled about it. Winning anything at a con the size of ACEN is a big deal.

I just wish I hadn’t skimmed the guidebook description.

Princess Belle test!

Look there she goes that girl is so peculiar
I wonder if she’s feeling well..

With a dreamy, far-off look

And her nose stuck in a book

What a puzzle to the rest of us is Belle

OOC: Ahh my favourite Disney princess! She is so much fun to dress up as! (and by dressing up I totally don’t mean putting an apron on over a white shirt what)

Mon Mothma’s like, 95% done! She’s not super accurate, but my whole goal with this costume was to spend as little money as possible, lol. Total I think I spent $62. This contrasts pretty greatly with my like, $500-$1000 Rey and Kylos.

As far as what’s left, I need to tidy up the wig a little more, do a smidge of tacking the tunic to the dress sleeves, and then maybe find some matching shoes on sale somewhere. /Maybe/.
