These warm hues work so well for all eye colours, not just Brown. Orange and Red are opposite Blue and Green on the colour wheel, also known as ‘complementary colours’. So when you wear the complementary shade to your natural eye colour it will make them POP! For those of you with Brown eyes, like myself, are fortunate as we’re are able to wear any hue.

This week’s tutorial is an intense eye look with a flawless base, suitable for a special occasion or a night out on the town!
All of my tutorials are adjustable, so you can tailor them to suit your needs - for example; if you prefer less coverage then you can opt for a lighter foundation, if you like a smokey eye but find Black to be too intense then just leave off the Black shadow, if you don’t get on with lashes then just opt for lashings of mascara! Each step is optional, just have a play and workout what best suits you.
this is my stuff from Lush…I didn’t realize all this was on one shelf of my closet? I have more that I forgot about, under my sink, in my room, in the main bathroom, in my car… Too Much. Idk why I have all those bath bombs i hardly ever take baths. Showers are quicker!! /)^u^/)
This is my two-toned Blue eyeshadow look, perfect for the Prom season, a special occasions or just an evening out. The spotlight technique is great way to make your eyelids look bigger and wider, it draws attention to the middle of lid due to the lighter reflective colour used. Below is a list of the products used, as well as links to the products / dupes.
My Summer Glam tutorial is ideal for those of you going to a Wedding, a Prom, or just a special occasion in the daytime where you want to sport something subtle with a touch of glam!
I decided to include how to prep your skin before makeup to help keep you shine-free all day, as well as keep your makeup in place for longer. It’s important to prep your skin first, particularly in the Summer months as the warm weather will aid the wear of your makeup much quicker than in the Winter months. There are tips and tricks in there for all skin types, particularly oily skin.
There are many occasions where us girls (and guys), are required to get dressed up to the nines, but it’s daylight outside… Which leaves many of us thinking ‘what makeup do I go for?’
For instance, a Wedding! You’re a guest and you want to look your best, but you don’t feel comfortable slapping on your regular evening-makeup. You know you are going to be photographed so you need something glam just not OTT - but what?
OR, you are off out on a lunch date, where your face needs to look flawless, like it did in the dim lighting of the club where you first met your hot date last week, but only this time you can’t get away with the heavy contour & black smokey eyes!! Argh!!!
Fear not… I have you covered! Whether you have hooded eyes, mono-lids, almond shaped eyes or even round eyes, you can all sport style of eye makeup. You may just need to tweak the shades to suit your skin tone.
A soft smokey eye with glamorous lashes will give your face exactly what it needs to feel and look beautiful. Lashes for daytime might seem daunting at first, but I promise you they will look super! It’s all about the lashes!!! The key to making this look soft is to use lighter shades to create the smokey eye, drop the usual dark liquid eyeliner and opt to darken just the roots of your lashes with a dark Brown / Black powder or Kohl. Also, substitute the Black along the waterline for a Cream or White eyeliner - not only is this more flattering for daytime, it will also make your eyes appear bigger!
This WILL transform your regular evening eye-makeup into stunning daytime glam! Then, in the evening you can easily amp-it-up by simply darkening your waterline and adding a little liquid liner across your top lid!
I have added in links below to all the products used in this tutorial. I always try to grab a UK link as they often ship to the EU also. And then a worldwide link, usually US based, but most ship worldwide.
This weeks tutorial is a matching eye, cheek and lip, in the beautiful Mink hues! I’ve seen a lot of celebs sporting this shade of recent so I thought it was ideal to show you how to recreate it at home!
