Amazing face mask that I’ve been using for about 4 months once a week. It claims to deep clean while refining the skins texture and it definitely does that. It has little jojoba beads (which are biodegradable unlike microbeads) that aren’t too harsh on the skin too. Glad I picked this one up. (~$26 at Sephora)
My face is always much paler than my body and sometimes it’s necessary to darker my complexion to match. I thought I would show you a quick way to deepen your complexion to give the appearance of a Summer tan but with a natural finish! If you like to fake tan your body and not your face then this is also a great technique. Often using fake tan on your face can make it look very uneven and also cause breakouts, so I would recommend only using fake tan on your body and use makeup to deepen your face instead.
Cosmetic Warrior smells like clay and garlic. It is definitely an offensive odor, and I am careful not to get it too close to my nostrils. Luckily, it’s not so strong that I can’t use the mask at all. The scent fades as it dries on skin and doesn’t stick around.
Cosmetic Warrior is a damp clay mask that smoothly glides onto dry skin. It fully hardens in 15 min in a dry climate. I enjoy this mask for my oily, acne-prone skin. CW has no exfoliation mixed in, making it surprisingly gentle, despite being effective. It soaks up excess oil and shrinks pimples without leaving skin feeling tight or dried. I would recommend this mask to those prone to ance blemishes. Removal is effortless, simply dampen the product and easily wipe away.
My makeup yesterday. We had a red and black theme at work and this is the look I came up with. I used sugarpill, lime crime, and inglot for the eyes, tarte and nyx for the cheeks, and lime crime’s velvetines in the shades red velvet and black velvet for the lips
As a beauty blogger I’m always on the hunt for new beauty products and I’m always drawn to exciting, innovative launches, but more often than not they usually turn out to be a gimmick. Sadly, as much as I love Tarte their new Tarteist Eyeliner was just that, a gimmick. I loved the idea of the squeezable tube and my first impression was that it was a convenient and hygienic idea, but after several uses I found it just dispensed way too much product and I was left with more eyeliner than I needed. The eyeliner itself had a beautiful matte finish, but the colour pay off was sheer and disappointing. I found myself having to go over the line several times to get it black enough. Tarte claim this eyeliner is waterproof and long lasting, but every time I wore it I ended up with black smudges on my eyelid, all the way up to my brow bone… Whilst this liner may be a unique idea the formula itself was a disappointment and the only thing I liked was the brush.
My makeup for today. Wanted to wear rainbow and also greens and gold glitter for st. patricks day and this is what I came up with. I used sugarpill and lime crime for the eyes, tarte for the cheeks, and lime crime’s serpentina for the lips
