I've never worked at a place where carts need to be put away and I wanted to make sure that my insistence on always putting the carts back/put together (and combining the ones already there if I can) was ok? I just wanted to make sure I'm not making anyone's life harder by trying to help. I know how sometimes customers do things that are irritating while thinking they're helping and I didn't want to be one of them, since none of my jobs have involved carts.
I imagine this is helpful but I could be wrong. I usually just bring my cart back inside the store unless I’m super sick or my foot is aching bad. Even then I put it in the corral instead of out like a wild wheeled beast taken where the wind should take it. Tame these majestic retail creatures by putting them back in the store or at the very least in the corral. Our cars and the peace of mind of employees will thank you. -Abby
