Spring is upon us!
I’ve created a tutorial with lips based on the oranges that we are seeing on the runways at the moment, and teamed that with its complimentary colour - Blue!
This to me is Spring and Summer!
A look that is super quick and easy to recreate. I’ve used Bobbi Brown gel liner in Ink Black to line the top lid. For the waterline I used Sue Moxley ‘Famous’ blue eye pencil. And under the lower lashes I used a shimmery eyeshadow from the same ‘Famous’ range, in a frost blue.

Orange lips, they may have been a trend on the runway last year, but that shouldn’t stop you from wearing them now. A bold lip is hot, especially as we come into the warmer months and overall orange is the perfect summer shade.

Holiday Look #11: Lavende et Pêche (OCC Lip Tar in Grandma and Urban Decay Vice 2 palette)

OCC Grandma is one of my favorite peach/coral lip colors in the world. And the rather tongue-in-cheek name notwithstanding, this is one of the prettiest orange tones around.

It’s not surprising then that they came up with a sparkly version of the color called Electric Grandma, which I wrote about awhile back, for the ultra-funky folks. Above, the 2nd full-face image was taken wearing Electric Grandma. It’s slightly less pink than original Grandma.

It’s an automatic reaction to pair warm eye colors with corals, but don’t forget that contrasting shades like blues and violets look beautiful with them too.
