believe you fucking did that, [Y/N].”
A wide smile
skittered across your lips, from corner to corner, pulling taunt and pushing
upward the apples of your cheeks. Despite the moment being one you weren’t
necessarily proud to share; it wasn’t enough for you to evade telling your best
friend, the girl who was responsible for thrusting you into this mess. You’d
met up for coffee before class started, and whilst Mina was occupied with
dumping in one too many sugar packets into her mug, you preluded the
conversation by bringing up Soonyoung’s number, the number you accidentally
sent a very explicit text to.
Mina she shouldn’t bring that coffee anywhere near her lips as you described
the story, yet she ignored you and inevitably payed the price as you
whisper-shouted one of his messages across the table. Something along the lines
of riding his thigh, ruining your body into an irreparable state, feeling how
your legs tremble over his shoulders. You watched as she hastily slapped a
napkin to her mouth, soaking up the hot coffee that spilt from her lips and
just about stained her pretty eggshell blouse. Stop drinking it if you choke after everything I say, you chipped, it only gets worse. Though you couldn’t
stand behind that last statement with a pure heart, especially when things were
far from terrible the night you and Soonyoung had been pleasuring yourselves to
the other’s texts.
just me! Soonyoung was there too, ya know!” You replied to Mina’s flustered
words, keeping pace with her as you exited the coffee shop. She tucked a curl of
ash purple hair behind her ear, shooting you a look surprisingly scant with her
features being so dainty and porcelain like.
think about it, it’s your fault because you entered his number in my phone.”
pinched together. “Maybe you should check who you’re texting, especially when
you’re calling him hot and talking about how badly you want his hands on yo—,”
balked with a prickling glow devouring your cheeks, “It was my fault too.”
Together you arrived at the stop light, surveiling the opposite pole and
waiting for that tiny walking man symbol to start twinkling. Mina was in a
quarrel with her own thoughts, still baffled by coincidence that Soonyoung, her
dance teacher, happened to be the same student you walked in on with another
girl at the frat party. She couldn’t deny he was complete eye candy, though his
ludic behaviour often times spurned her interest, especially when his best
friend Seokmin was sprinkled into the mix.
“I guess I
should also mention,” You huffed, pebbles strewn along the asphalt as the
symbol finally flickered, “That he invited me to that drive in movie on
Friday,” You gulped, ”
could you do a niall blurb about something kind of off slow hands like super sweet, relaxed, tired with like shoulder kisses
Niall was exhausted. Promo all day for this new CD coming out resulting in a 14-16 hour work days had taken it’s toll. Not to mention he hadn’t seen you in a couple days although it felt like weeks at this point.
He deposited his keys and shoes in the front hallway even though he knew you hated that. He was far too exhausted at this point to even think about putting anything in it’s proper area.
He walked into your bedroom, took two long strides towards the bed and collapsed face down into the pillows. You looked up from your Chemistry book, twisting your body around to survey your very hot, very sweet, very tired boyfriend groaning into the mountain of pillows behind you like he had just ran 15 miles.
“How was the promotion today?” Niall snorted into the pillow, his body jerking a bit when he did so,
“Long. What time did I leave this mornin’?” He asked, his voice muffled due to the fact that his face was smashed into a mountain of cotton.
“Think it was three or four. I don’t remember.”
He lifted his head out of the pillow mountain,
“Three.” He said, pushing himself up onto his hands, “It was three.”
He took a moment to look around the room. You were seated Indian style on the bed. Your Chem book open in front of you. A bag of peanuts in which you’d randomly reach over and grab a few every couple of minutes was sitting next to you. And the TV was on, though muted.
“Studyin’? Thought school was over.”
“It is. I’m just trying to see how I did on the final today.”
She fixes the bifocals perched atop her nose, eyes skimming down his long tail and taking in the details of his green and blue holographic scales.
Harry’s coral pink lips plump into a pout, the corners of his mouth dipping down in mild annoyance. The bottom of his tail flaps about, portraying the slight agitation and clear distaste for the label the girl has branded him with.
“Man.” He murmurs softly, seaglass eyes shimmering up at her with a tad bit of curiosity, glossy irises reflecting the watery blue haze from the ocean just outside the humongous glass wall of the submarine.
“What’s that you said?” She doesn’t know if he’s referring to her or to someone else– maybe Niall, who is out back in the lab room determining the levels of salt needed for the water in Harry’s testing tank.
His fingers play at the hem of the black t-shirt he had been given, the fabric itchy against his skin. He’s not used to wearing clothes much and having to use them is his least favorite part of going overland.
“Man.” The peculiar creature repeats, squaring his shoulders back almost dominant-like, better exposing the scales along his neck as they glint under the muddled streams of sunlight.

Who says you have to wear neutrals with bright lips?
Just keep things soft and luminous, and you can get away with almost any color.
Here, I’m demonstrating with a soft peachy beige and soft lavender on the lids. I kept the cheeks very luminous and soft (just a radiant pink tinge) and on the lips, I show 2 options that both work with the eye makeup.
Pairing a warmer shade (peach/beige) with a cooler one (soft violet) is a way you can make your eye makeup work with any warm or cool lip color you want.
To prove that, I’ve used 2 lip shades on opposite ends of the warm/cool spectrum!

Peter Pan knew he shouldn’t have wondered out this far into the ocean. He couldn’t believe he broke his own sole order he told his Lost Boys, “Don’t go past waist deep in the ocean or the sea wenches will get ya”. She came up behind him and dragged him underneath the waves, and with a gasp Peter was gone.
He kicked for his life, trying to scratch and punch the woman with the glimmering tail but her dagger nails dug deep in his skin. Who knew sea wenches even physically attacked? Didn’t they just lure senseless boys in? Apparently not, as this one dragged him further down and he felt the oxygen escaping from his lungs bubble by bubble.
Peter felt an overwhelming pressure begin to build in his head and a white hot pain in his lungs. His limbs ached and he had trouble fighting back, even letting the fish drag him through the water hurt. Peter accepted his stupidity and with a spluttering cough, the king of Neverland blacked out.
You had watched your sister Adella dragging the body of a boy behind her. He was long, dressed in rags of green and brown with coral pink lips. What made your eyes pop out of your head was his boyish face, a face you’d seen on the island of Neverland.
Your sister had successfully attacked a Lost Boy.
She left to go find your father, leaving the boy sitting propped against a tall rock. In a split second you decided his fate.
You darted out and grabbed his limp body, hugging him to you while you furiously pumped your tail upwards. His unresponsive limbs dragged along behind him, and his wheat blond hair floated around his head. You decided you were not going to let this mere boy die, whoever he was. You could feel the ghost of a heartbeat still inside of him, and it only encouraged you to swim faster.
Dragging your body onto the sand along with his was difficult, but you were able to get him out of the water. Leaning over him, you wiped his hair from his face. He was… beautifulactually, with a sharp jaw and long eyelashes. Your breath caught in your throat as you cradled his cheek to stroke droplets off his skin with your thumbs. Was it possible to fall in love with a human? Someone you’ve only ever laid eyes on once?
You pressed your mouth to his and breathed air into his lungs.
“Please, please.” You whispered. You knew he was still alive, he had to be. He couldn’t of been under for that long? You weren’t really sure how to do it, but you started pressing against his stomach, encouraging the swallowed water to come out.
To your happiness, he kicked out and coughed, lurching up and emptying his stomach out beside him. He breathed heavy, greedy gulps of air, accompanied by more coughing and spluttering.
You tried to calm him in his panicked state by softly singing under your breath. It worked, as he turned his head and met your eyes with his. You smiled and were about to speak before someone beat you to it.
Your head whipped to the side as did the boy’s, the sound of multiple male voices in the distance coming closer made you flip around and head back to the water in a haste. Pan’s cries for you to wait went unanswered and he watched you disappear under the sea with a splash.
He continued to breathe heavily. A mermaid had dragged him underwater and he thought he was going to die, but it seemed another one had saved him? The footsteps of his Lost Boys interrupted his thoughts.
“Pan! God Pan, you scared the living hell out of us!”
“Yeah!” Another boy chimed in. “Felix here watched you get pulled under by that sea wench but you were gone before we could save ya!”
Pan looked back out towards the water, then back at the crowed of boys.
“Well — well I did get pulled under but this other one saved me!”
Felix, who leaned down and helped Pan stand up, rolled his eyes. “Wenches don’t save you Pan. How much water did you swallow?”
“No! No I saw her, she pulled me back up and she saved me,” He motioned to the sand. “She was beautiful, too. God, she was breathtaking, actually.”
A few of the younger boys snickered at his nonsense. Everyone knew mermaids don’t save people, especially young boys and men. They do just the opposite.
“Let’s get back to camp, Pan. We’re all hungry.”
While Adella was angry that you saved her catch, she didn’t care much as Lost Boys were dumb, and one was bound to stupidly wander in the water again.
That night in your seaweed bed, you daydreamed of the boy. He was the most beautiful human you’ve ever seen, with his green eyes and broad shoulders. You wanted to go back and try to find him again but you knew you couldn’t. Mermaids and humans don’t belong together, they’ve been enemies all throughout history.
But you couldn’t get his face out of your head. Was he thinking of you too? What has he doing right now? The desire to become human was strong, as Neverland wasn’t far away and you would know him exactly when you saw him.
There… was a way to become human though: the myth of Ursula, the sea enchantress who could transform mer people into humans. You didn’t know what it was going to take to give you legs, but you decided you would visit Ursula tomorrow. If it meant seeing that boy again, you would do it.
Coppery-Bronze Eyes and Coral Pink “Watermelon” Lips
Here’s a quick warm look that pairs rich copper-brown tones on the eyes with bright pink-coral lips. The cheeks are also a rose-gold just to echo the undertones of the lipstick, and the rest of the skin is kept to a “luminous-matte” finish with matte base and slightly glowy setting powder.
And yes - this eye look works for mono-lid eyes as well because the shading goes up to the socket line on the outer corners.

The ‘60s was such a wonderful decade in fashion. Girls went from wearing knee length dresses, to completely short mini dresses & a much more experimental way of dressing. Girls went from simple elegant everyday makeup, to bright and bold colors! It was beautiful! This blog is dedicated to helping you recreate your favorite decades style, in a modern way. Here is a post of modernizing '60s makeup for an everyday look! Before we start, let me give you an overview of how everything was in the 60s
Lets start off with the makeup! Makeup in the '60s was bold. It revolved around huge lashes, winged eyeliner, bold colors, etc!
Lashes & Mascara:
False eyelashes were the fashion accessory of the ’60s (from about 1964 on) and fashionable girls wore them everyday. Some even wore two sets.
Lashes (both upper and lower) came on a long strip that you cut to length, or else as ready-to-wear individual sets.
The strip that bottom lashes came on could be annoying, so girls would cut them into smaller pieces.
Lashes mainly came in black and brown, but could be decorated with rhinestones and glitter. (FUN)
Mascara could be bought in a tube with a wand applicator, having been invented in the 1950s. Block mascaras were still used as well.
Block mascaras were activated with water or, more realistically, spit, and mixed with the little brush that came with it. Max Factor’s block mascara could really be built up.
There was also cream mascara in a tube that came with a little wand brush. Some products were waterproof, others were not.
Powder eye shadows were matte. You could also get eye crayons and liquid eye makeup in a tube.
The mod eye makeup look, usually worn by Twiggy, was the distinctive black eye shadow line in the crease with a pale eye lid.
The fashionable dark crease line was left as a sharp definite line – it wasn’t blended or smudged at all – and was applied in an arch from inner eye to outer eye.
Eye liner came in pencil, cake and liquid formats in a variety of colors.
If someone didn’t have an actual eye liner, block mascara or Max Factor’s Pan-Cake (black was no. 2880!) were good substitutes.
If false lashes were worn, eye liner could be used to cover over the edge of the lash strip.
Eye liner could be used to paint on bottom lashes (like Twiggy was sometimes seen with).
Corals, pinks and peach were the fashionable colors, as well as beige-pink nudes.
Reds, pinks and browns were still available, being fashionable at the start of the decade and coming back in towards the late ’60s.
Traditional lipsticks were mainly matte (though Vaseline could be used to add a sheen if really wanted).
Quite a few pictures in makeup adverts and fashion magazines show models wearing a soft red color on their top lip and candy pink on the bottom lip.
Lipsticks came in the standard tube and the lipstick was generally rounded at the tip, shaped like a bullet. Long slim tubes were a fashionable design. Lip brushes could also be used to apply the lipstick.
'60s makeup is really coming back in style, and these celebs rock it like there’s no tomorrow! Celebs ranging from Ariana Grande, to Lana Del Rey have all sported the '60s look! Here are some way to modernize it just like they have done!
Instead of using huge false lashes, and drawing your bottom lashes to get the twiggy effect, you can do it in a more toned down way for an everyday look! Apply a few coats of mascara to your top and bottom lashes, but make sure they don’t look spidery! That will cause them to look fake, and unnatural at all. Remember, you’re going for the '60s look, but you don’t want strange stares everywhere you go if you go full out with the Twiggy lashes.
Winged eyeliner is always in style, the good thing is that it’s still in style no matter how thin or thick you decide to do it! Obviously in the '60s, they liked a pretty thick and bold winged eye, and fortunately it’s appropriate in modern times! Using a gel or liquid eyeliner, carefully draw a thin (or thick) line, starting from the front of your eye, and extend it out, and upwards creating a 'cat eye’ or a winged line.
