So find me when you welcome back your roots and I will be where all of your ends meet. I want the feeling waking next to you. I want to find my children at your feet.
If you let me be your anchor.
I will hold you down
I’m starting to brighten up my trees in Copper Hill for my October set (separated from the September set so I can just plop it back in again next September!). All of the flowers are murdered. I can’t decide whether these hedges are meant to be evergreen or not. They are sort of generic as a plant type, so maybe I’ll give them a tiny pop of color just because. The pine trees are evergreen, of course. And the cypress are evergreen, although we will have to ignore the fact that they would promptly die in northern Michigan, lol!
When I was six, my parents moved my brother and I to Saugus, California. They bought a small house on Rodifer Place, on Copper Hill. I remember the first year being easy to live there. Small odd things would happen, such as shadows darting from room to room, but I never felt uncomfortable.
