Mr. Coppa the upcoming rapper originally from Belize now settled in Chicago, IL is making music like no other. He started rapping at an early age but being raised to focus on school he set aside the music and concentrated on his studies. After college, his brother brought him to the studio to pursue his music career. Since then, Mr. Coppa has been writing and making music. It has been 6 years of hard work and dedication. His music is a mixture of reggae and dancehall. You can hear a lot about world issues and struggles that his country, Belize is dealing with in his music. Also he writes about his life experiences as a youth and what he sees in the communities around. Coppa’s music has been said to be honest, full of heart and a lot of realness.

You can find Mr. Coppa’s mixtapes in the streets of Chicago. Aside from his own music, he also works with another upcoming artist, Money Coach, who is making a lot of noise in Chicago. He collaborates with different R&B, Hip Hop and Reggae artists who are also looking for exposure. Tentatively, he hopes to launch his album in 2012. With so many projects that he is working on, he would like to add a clothing line under his belt. He has performed at the Nike Tour for Lebron James and just to name a few, he also opened for Do or Die, Shawty Lo, Jeremiah, Day 26, Bobby Valentino and more…. One of his many goals upon success is to give back to his country. He wants to build shelters and a hospital to help better his community. Mr. Coppa believes that setting a foundation for the youth will help them achieve their dreams. He is definitely an artist to follow!
