Hey ! I don't understand the Ne function too much, I'm under the impression that high ne users will look at something and suddenly get a huge rush of ideas of what to do with it and same with other things .. 😅 could you please clarify ?

This picture demonstrates the basic difference between Ne (divergent) and Ni (convergent) quite excellently.

Note that the ideas that the stimulus provokes don`t have to be concrete (aka. Ne does not really function like `hey look a cereal box lets make a spaceship or a time machine or a paper container out of it!`. Ne is not exactly an action plan machine. It`s a possibility machine and a divergent thought machine. Ne makes and sees connections between seemingly unrelated topics. It looks beyond the details and strives to map out the bigger picture and all the hidden patterns behind it.

Imagine a mind map that starts with a simple idea but keeps expanding in multiple directions all at once and making unexpected turns and connections until it looks like a complicated spiderweb. That`s basically what happens in my head when Ne starts brainstorming. The spiderweb does`t necessarily always have any other point or end goal than to understand and explore the current topic at hand. Therefore unfiltered Ne can seem messy and useless to an outsider. To the Ne user it all however makes perfect sense.

That`s how I would personally explain dominant Ne. The real question is does this description make sense to anyone else…(?)

Below you can find a fairly detailed description of how Ne manifests in ENTPs. I copied it from a source so it has not been written by me.

What kind of bird do you most want to see?

Listen, there is not a single bird on this earth that I do not want to see HOWEVER that being said, there are a few that I am even more excited than usual to see:

Groove-billed ani.  I mean come on, just look at those fluffy little dinosaur faces

Hoatzin. AKA the stinkbird, these guys process vegetation the same way cows and other ruminants do, HOW COOL is that. Also their babies have grabby little claws on their wings like ungainly little dromaeosaurs. Adorable.

Shoebill. I mean. Duh.

Booted racket-tail. Look at those PAAAAANTS

Seriema. Closest living relative to THE  TERROR  BIRDS so what’s not to like (also they’re dorks)

Secretary bird. For reasons that should be obvious.

This EXACT golden eagle. One day, we shall be united my love
Planet Found in Habitable Zone Around Nearest Star - Pale Red Dot Campaign reveals Earth-Mass World in Orbit around Proxima Centauri
Astronomers using ESO telescopes and other facilities have found clear evidence of a planet orbiting the closest star to Earth, Proxima Centauri. The long-sought world, designated Proxima b, orbits its cool red parent star every 11 days and has a temperature suitable for liquid water to exist on its surface. This rocky world is a little more massive than the Earth and is the closest exoplanet to us — and it may also be the closest possible abode for life outside the Solar System.

This discovery will be the beginning of extensive further observations, both with current instruments and with the next generation of giant telescopes such as the European Extremely Large Telescope (E-ELT). Proxima b will be a prime target for the hunt for evidence of life elsewhere in the Universe. Indeed, the Alpha Centauri system is also the target of humankind’s first attempt to travel to another star system, the StarShot project.

Guillem Anglada-Escudé concludes: “Many exoplanets have been found and many more will be found, but searching for the closest potential Earth-analogue and succeeding has been the experience of a lifetime for all of us. Many people’s stories and efforts have converged on this discovery. The result is also a tribute to all of them. The search for life on Proxima b comes next…”

bts x avatar: taehyung  → airbender

Taehyung lived in the Republic City until he got the bending ability after the Harmonic Convergence. He happily joined the new generation of airbenders and is really focused on the mission of building the new Air Nation. He did well in the training and always tries to find the bright side on everything, but knows when it’s time to be serious and is an incredible strategist. However, the thing that he’s the most talented with, is with the flying bisons, so he is in charge of taking care of them and giving them to the new benders. He always manages to give the right bison to the right bender.

i was rewatching that episode of haven where they’re hunting a wendigo and ok i need a haven/spn crossover stat bc imagine sam and dean arriving on the scene and being like “we’ve got this covered everybody go home before you get yourselves hurt” and audrey ain’t gonna take none of that shit (omg her and dean would butt heads so bad) but later after they start begrudgingly getting along (thanks to sam doing his puppy eyes/heartfelt routine with audrey because he can relate to being troubled/cursed) dean totally geeks out over dwight’s crossbow and pesters nathan by poking him (“you seriously can’t feel that dude?”) and duke gets totally jealous because *he’s* supposed to be the one annoying nathan :3

Dean was a shapeshifter, and while the name made it sound cool, it was actually an insane pain in the ass. He didn’t magically become this way one day, he was born into it, born into a world of supernatural creatures and hunters made up of humans with only the thought in mind to wipe out anything not human. That was ALSO an insane pain the ass. His mother came from a long line of HUMAN hunters, and his father came from a long line of supernatural shape shifters. It would have made interesting family reunions if his mother hadn’t been killed by a demon when he was 5, and his Dad decided that maybe hunting wasn’t such a bad thing after all and took to the road.

His brother, when he was 12 years old, got this stupid idea in his head that maybe there were some creatures that could be turned back. Not shifters, or fairy or any of the creatures that were BORN creatures, but things like vampires, werewolves and even demons were once human. And if they were human, they could be turned back into being human. At least that was the theory.

So that was Dean’s life. On the road, making sure hunters didn’t find out they were shifters, while hunting demons. It was interesting to say the least. As him and Sam got older, they realized they didn’t want the life their father grew them up in. Dean, while thinking Sam’s idea was frankly crazy, wanted to help. And so, when Sam turned 18 he went off to college for pre-med, shifted into a guy that had died in a vampire attack but who had a full scholorship to Stanford. Dean remained himself, and worked in a garage part time near the college. He met an angel, yeah an honest to goodness angel, some where a long the way, fascinated with the idea of a shapeshifting hunter, and the two criss crossed the country hunting together.

When Sam was 25, he graduated from medical school and immediately started his crucade to fix supernatural creatures who could be fixed. Dean and his angel Castiel would hunt for him, bring him back samples when they could and things when on from there. Dean was 32 years old, content with his life, when IT happened…

I have a new comic coming out, thanks to @lilies-anthology for the kick in the butt to get going on it, cuz THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!

I hope the subject of this story forgives me for low key hijacking her life for a graphic novel but I mean how could i not?

It’s gonna be biographical and as true to fact as possible, as long as you believe in like, the unity of the universe, synchronicity, the higher potential of humanity, etc.

[NEWS] K-pop stars excited for ‘Show Champion Live in Manila’

Nine K-pop groups will converge in the Philippines on Sept. 3 for the special episode of MBC Music’s TV program “Show Champion.”

BTS, AOA, VIXX, BAP, KNK, Astro, Sonamoo, Gugudan and M&D, composed of Super Junior’s Heechul and TRAX’s Jungmo, will be performing on the 200th episode of the music show dubbed “Show Champion Live in Manila” to be held 7 p.m. at the Mall of Asia Arena.

In separate video messages, the groups invited their fans to watch the show.

“We are going to Manila again,” said BTS, who performed in a concert in Manila last July.

The members of VIXX said, “We are coming back after one year. We really missed you. We have worked hard to prepare for this stage so (we) hope you will come and see us perform.”

AOA, composed of Seolhyun, Jimin, Choa, Yuna, Hyejeong, Mina and Chanmi, will be marking their debut in Manila.

“This is going to be our first time in the Philippines and we are excited to meet our fans,” they said.

Heechul shared, “It’s been a long time since I’ve been in the Philippines and this time through ‘Show Champion,’ I’ll be able to see everyone again. Let’s meet on Sept. 3 and have a good time.”

Boy band BAP, composed of Himchan, Young-jae, Yongguk, Daehyun, Jong-up and Junhong, were in the Philippines in February 2014 for the “Dream K-pop Fantasy Concert 2.”

“Two years ago we met our Filipino fans. Everyone, remember? Because we miss you so much. Let’s meet again, everyone,” they said.

Sonamoo is a seven-member girl band composed of D.ana, Nahyun, Minjae, Sumin, Euijin, High.D and NewSun.

Five-member rookie group KNK, composed of Jihun, Inseong, Seungjun, Youjin and Heejun, debuted in Korea only last February and the Manila show will be their first performance abroad.

“We are very honored to have our first overseas performance in the Philippines,” they said. “We will work hard and promise to give you the best performance ever.”

Boy band ASTRO, composed of Cha Eunwoo, Jin Jin, MJ, Moon Bin, Rocky and Yoon San Ha, debuted last February.

Gugudan is a nine-member girl group which debuted last June. Its members are Soyee, Hana, Haebin, Mimi, Nayoung, Sejeong, Sally, Mina and Hyeyeon.

“We are very honored and excited to be part of Show Champion’s 200th episode special. If we could share the stage with everyone, it would be great,” they said. “Please show us lots of love. We will work hard.”

“Show Champion in Manila” is presented by MBC Plus and All Access Productions.

OVERBLOWN Interview with Brian Cook

There’s not really any need to introduce post metal stalwarts Russian Circles, is there? Suffice it to say, they are now over ten years into their career and have just released yet another excellent album in the form of Guidance. For me, it’s an album that sees the group push out the contrasts between the light and dark in their songs. Songs soar and swoop between pummeling drums and somewhat black metal guitar flourishes like on lead single ‘Vorel‘, and the slow build of more cathartic and euphoric tracks like ‘Mota’. An engrossing adventure as always.

Ahead of their upcoming US and European tour, Overblown had the pleasure of talking to Russian Circles’ bassist Brian Cook about Guidance, recording with Kurt Ballou of Converge, and how Mike (Sullivan, Russian Circles guitarist) is a liar apparently.
