I got a notification today informing me that TES: Legends is now available on mobile devices. So far the app has run quite smoothly, and the interface seems pretty close to the PC version. The game board is a bit small to my liking - a couple of times I had some trouble picking the cards I wanted, especially when I had full hand (I imagine this could be nice on tablet or any other device with slightly bigger screen, though). Still, it works reasonably well and hopefully the mobile version will be tweaked further to make it more convenient to use. Definitely something for me to play during bus rides and such. :)

So typically I hc Babet as a trans woman, and as being kind of a mother figure to Montparnasse because he came into Patron Minette when he was so young she felt like she needed to protect him. Anyway, I kind of started thinking about how mama bear!Babet would react to Jehan, and later to Antoine. And because 'Parnasse is a shitbag and teaches Antoine to call her like nana or grandma or something and she pretends to hate it but really loves having this little family even if it's not by blood.

I don’t really have a set gender headcanon for Babet, but they’re (let’s use ‘they’ for convenience) definitely a parent figure in my head yeah! Mainly because they’re the oldest and SOMEONE’s gotta impulse control that bunch of misfits, otherwise it’d all go to shit pretty quickly :’)

But YES I adore the idea of Patron-Minette itself being a found family of sorts, just like les Amis are, even though they’re not honourable and have more selfish motives, but they’re loyal to each other nonetheless. And then life changes, because they can’t keep being that band of criminals forever, that sort of thing can either end in prison, death, or retirement, and the found family grows as life happens aaaaahh ;-;

Dear Mr. Vernon, we accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole Saturday in detention for whatever it was we did wrong. But we think you’re crazy to make us write an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you want to see us - in the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is a brain, and an athlete, and a basket case, a princess, and a criminal. Does that answer your question? Sincerely yours, the breakfast club.
