It was your birthday, and instead of the usual set of gems he bought for you, this year Tommy took you out for a nice dinner. With very expensive wine.
You were laughing hysterically as Tommy drove. You rest your head in his lap and let your legs hang out the window much to his disapproval but it was still your birthday even though the sun was starting to set so he couldn’t tell you to stop.
He twisted on hand in your hair, driving with the other, causing you to look up into his eyes.
“You had a good night love?”
“Mhmmm…” you nodded, resting your hand against his. “The best.”
