If you’ve followed my blog for a while, you probably know that I am from and live in Connecticut. Connecticut is a very small state, but there are some areas I’m not too familiar with - my best friend and I took a little road trip this past weekend to Northwest Connecticut, which is an area I have little to no knowledge of. All of a sudden, driving in this small town, we came across a Buddhist temple! (This picture is not mine, link to source is above). That just goes to show you that regardless of how small your town or your county or your state is, there are always surprises and new things to be seen. Even if you don’t have the money to travel to a far off destination, you can find amazing things just around the corner.
