underorangeMy first fandom was Beetlejuice. Which progressed to Invader Zim, and then the Labyrinth. The Labyrinth really took me by surprise because I hadn’t actually watched it as a kid, I watched it for the first time after I had graduated college.

My first fandom was Star Trek. Then Buffy, then Stargate SG-1. I was in con and online Trek fandom from 1996 - 2001, Buffy fandom from 2001-ish to 2003, and Stargate SG-1 from 2003 to about 2007.

(Then, fandom explosion! And never would I be fandom monogamous again! Until Teen Wolf, kinda. Is it fannish monogamy if you never read another fandom’s fanfic?)

condnsdmlk: What are the pairings you’ve shipped hardest? OMG. Lex Luthor/Clark Kent (they even have a canon child together - too perfect!). Also: Gregory House/Robert Chase (made for each other), Gerald Tarrant/Damien Vryce (from CS Friedman’s Coldfire Trilogy) and Harry Kim/Captain Janeway (I will forever lament the lack of fic!).

LEX LUTHOR AND CLARK KENT. Yes. I will ship it forever. (Also Clark Kent and Lois Lane. You go, Clark.) Who else? Janeway and Chakotay (sorry! hee), Willow and Tara, Jack and Ianto – wait, these are all canon or near-canon. Jack and Daniel from SG-1! Hercules and Iolaus! Darien Fawkes and Bobby Hobbes from The Invisible Man! (Though, sisabet would argue that one is canon.)
