Cobravo was a BLAST. Aside from meeting so many amazing people and seeing some existing friends I got some new photos of my Warrior Moon!

I’m still kinda in shock by how great people were! Thanks everyone who said ‘Hi’ and stopped for a photo! I’m just starting this crazy cosplay journey and it’s been so great because of all the people I’ve gotten to meet so far!

I’ve also started wondering if I should think about doing some tutorials. Even though there’s a billion helpful tutorials out there already (it’s how I learned to do this shiz) I feel like the only thing I could contribute is maybe: How to break down a complicated character design into something manageable! or Painting props and armor! or Design sense: how to tackle original costume designs! I dunno……… How to restitch the same thing 5 different times because you suck at sewing?

Now it’s time to get down to business and start on my next project! Going to take better progress photos this time! wooooooo

This was drawn and finished all in one day, and was definitely really tough! I was cutting it close to my deadline to order my prints, so this was the last one I finished before I emailed off all of the files. I wanted to do something for the Zaibatsu as they were going to be attending the convention as well, and they are some of my favourite youtubers!

TO MY SURPRISE, they actually stopped by my booth and picked up a copy of the print! I was all teary eyed because when I draw fan art, I never expect the person who I’m drawing it of to actually see the piece, let alone buy it. They were all so happy about it, and we took pictures together, it was amazing and definitely an experience I will never forget!

The image is of them cosplaying as the cast from a game they played, Killer is Dead. I didn’t know about this game until they played it, and I actually went out and got it right after because I loved it so much. It’s SUCH a cool game, and I highly recommend it! They were thrilled that I drew them like this as well, and I hope you all enjoy it too!!

I actually sold out of this print shortly after ;~;! It was the first time I sold out of anything! AND THEY WERE SO FRIENDLY! When we bumped into each other a few times after, we said hello and waved and ahhh it’s just so cool! I think I look really spaced out because I couldn’t believe what was happening, haha!

Can we just talk about pudgemouthjin‘s guest bio on the ConBravo! website…

Had a blast at ConBravo! So many fun events and lots of awesome guests were there, such as albinwonderland (Angelina) ^^ It’s crazy how I’ve been watching her videos for a few years thinking I’d never get to see her, and then finally met her in person >///< She’s just as sweet and awesome as she is on YouTube! :D

A print for ConBravo at the end of this month! I went to an amazing Splatoon event with spooky-pens and her fiance so I was both super pumped before and inspired afterwards

I absolutely love every character in the game, to be honest. But when making a print for conventions, obviously these two were a shoe in! Their colours, their fashion, their personalities– SO CUTE!! Callie and Marie are the best <3!

This’ll be 11 x 17 :D
