Frank Turner got into trouble for his politics, but his music stands on its own. The English sing-songwriter will be at The Blue Note on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

So this is a thing. 

Remember “Hey, Stephen” from Taylor Swift’s Fearless album? It was written about Stephen Barker Liles from Love and Theft, who was opening for Tay during her tour at the time. 

Stephen wrote this song about Tay, too. 

Maybe if you ask very nicely at the Love and Theft show on Thursday, Sept. 12, at The Blue Note, Stephen will write a song about you, too. 


Citizen Cope teamed up with Mizzou alumna Sheryl Crow for “Sideways” on her 2010 album, 100 Miles from Memphis.

He’s also played with Eric Clapton, Santana and Dido.
