community (tv show)

Knowing the truth, which is that nothing matters, can actually save you. Once you get through that terrifying threshold of accepting that, then every place is the centre of the universe, and every moment is the most important moment, and everything is the meaning of life.
—  Dan Harmon, creator of Community and co-creator of Rick and Morty.

musical episodes of non musical shows are the best episodes but you know wht makes them better? when its unquestioned. give me more musical episodes that cant be logical within canon. That aren’t the work of a curse or that dont take place in a dream.

Brooklyn 99: doesn’t get the recognition it deserves

happy endings: cancelled after 3 seasons

scrubs: was always on the verge of being cancelled

cougar town: was cancelled and then brought back for only 3 more short seasons

community: always on the brink of cancellation, moved to yahoo and finally cancelled

undateable: was cancelled after doing a hilarious live season

new girl: is getting a 7th season but it will only be 8 episodes because fox wanted to cancel it after season 6

the mindy project: was cancelled and then moved to hulu

parks and rec: got 7 good seasons but mostly underappreciated

and yet for some reason the big bang theory now has 11 seasons!

all the aforementioned shows are/were better written, better acted and are/were actually funny

also bill Lawrence creates better comedies then chuck lorrie

@ all and every gay kid ever:
you deserve better than queerbaiting.
you deserve better than dean winchesters and sherlock holmes’ and V and B. you deserve to be represented and validated, not mocked for your ideas and interpretations and theres so much good content out there of lgbt+ characters/couples.
go and find it.
its truly a hundred times better than sitting around waiting for something that isnt going to happen.
and im not saying your thoughts and views are wrong, i to this day still believe dean is meant to be canonically bi, but dont let yourself be screwed over by straight, white adults who dont care about you unless you can provide them with money. im so mad my first experiences with lgbt+ culture and community came from there.
you deserve better than that.

Jeff Winger: Okay, what was I tuning out?

Annie Edison: You have to get Chang to call off some of this homework. You’re the one with the silver tongue.

Pierce Hawthorne: Yeah, go tongue Chang.

Jeff Winger: Guys, what makes you think I can convince Chang of anything if I can’t even convince you not to make me do it?

Shirley Bennett: Jeff does raise a good point…

Troy Barnes: Wait, you are convincing!

Episode 1.10, Environmental Science

I can’t believe the only tv show that cared about the LGBT community got cancelled. I mean, when it comes to Karmy, it was so messy sometimes  but the show deserved better.

Lauren Cooper was the only intersex representation on TV.

Noah is played by a transgender actor.

Amy Raudenfeld refused to put a label on herself.

And she learned to not apologize for taking care or herself.

Wade said something everyone needs to learn.

And everyone screamed at the guy when he said he was asexual. It was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.

SO I HOPE SOMEONE SAVES THIS SHOW.

Because we need more representation. Also, we will never find out if Karma loves Amy in a romantic way.

OR IF AMY IS BISEXUAL OR PANSEXUAL.

RIP FAKING IT ( April 22, 2014 – May 17, 2016 ).
