comment trolls

let this man call his brother cute

Hi friend! It appears you left a comment on someone’s YouTube/Twitter/Reddit page, and in the friendly discourse that followed, you were called some combination of the words “beta” and “cuck.” Now, you’re pretty sure that you’ve been insulted, but for the life of you, you have no idea why.

Or maybe no one has come out and called you a beta cuck to your online face, but you’ve noticed that the words are popping up all over message boards and websites like fetid, vaguely insulting mushrooms.

You aren’t the only one baffled by the hottest new insults this side of “Fedora Man.” In the interest of education, we invite you to grab a drink, relax, and take a second to go over our handy “beta cuck” FAQ. Not only will it take a mere moment, but this guide will also give you the power of not giving two slivers of shit about the insults that will be bandied about in the comment section of this very article.

A Quick Guide To The Hilarious Language Of The Alt-Right

Pewdiepie’s response video to all his controversy was pretty normal at first and made me think that he’s just a relatively ignorant guy who isn’t smart enough to wield his influence properly, but THEN he said that making horribly offensive jokes doesn’t normalize hatred and I’m like…. No that’s literally exactly what they do especially when being told to an impressionable teenage audience of literally MILLIONS.

What Kind of Drunk are They at a Holiday Party (MONSTA-X)

SHOWNU: Shownu, unlike the rest of the members, would be relatively normal when drunk. It wouldn’t really affect him that much, to be honest. He would be able to hold his liquor just fine, and control his personality while doing so. He may make a few troll comments here and there to some of his fellow members, but they wouldn’t be anything too serious. He’s considered the dad of Monsta X for a reason, and that would definitely show, especially in these types of situations.

WONHO: Much like when he’s sober, Wonho would be a complete and utter flirt when drunk. It wouldn’t matter who the person he was talking to was, how old they were, what language they spoke, etc., if there was a human being standing in front of him, the alcohol in his system would make sure he didn’t leave them out when it comes to an abundance of flirty compliments.

MINHYUK: Minhyuk would be a whiny drunk. He would literally complain about EVERYTHING. He would complain about the weather, he would complain about how weird the food tasted, he would complain about how his clothes didn’t fit right, he would even complain about an episode of a drama that he had watched months, or even years ago. Everything would bother him, and whoever happened to be with him during his intoxicated state would have to suffer the consequences of that.

KIHYUN: Kihyun would be quite interesting when drunk. He would probably be all over the place, really. At first he would be a complete and utter dick, yelling slurs and insults to anyone that crossed his path. But it would only take a good 2 minutes before his personality would change completely, a huge smile on his face as he would perform massive amounts of skinship and aegyo as he complimented every person he’d previously offended.

HYUNGWON: Hyungwon wouldn’t really have a distinct personality when drunk, because the moment a little too much alcohol entered his system, he would be gone. Like…passed out on the bathroom floor for hours type of gone.

JOOHEON: Unlike his usual bright and cheerful personality, Jooheon would, with no doubt, be an angry drunk. He would hate everything and everybody and the littlest things would piss him off. He would have no patience whatsoever and would not be able to hold himself back when expressing his thoughts and feelings as the alcohol continued to harshly pump through his veins.

I.M.: Though somewhat unexpected, I.M. would be an absolute greaseball when drunk. He would literally love everything and everyone and he would show all the skinship and aegyo in the world just to prove it. He would give constant compliments to EVERYONE, buy random strangers drinks, and would even get a little flirty with some people here and there. No matter how you look at it, if you were to see I.M. while drunk, you were bound to feel the love.

It’s so interesting because I just read some comments (I know! lol) on that video post of that Black woman talking about how avocados are featured more in women’s magazines than Black women.

And some of the trolling comments are in relation to Black women being niche and avocados being for everyone and I just find that so telling. I read magazines where I never once see a Black woman. I read them because they have fitness tips or book suggestions or music reviews for genres I like. And even when I can’t always relate to the women on the page, I usually find something interesting about what is written about them. This is even more so when you get to subculture magazines.

Why are Black women “niche” and why do you have to be a Black woman to care about our lives? I don’t understand that. Why are avocados more likely to be in a magazine about women than other women?

Gordon Ramsay Hits Back At ‘Sick’ Online Trolls Targeting His Daughters

Gordon Ramsay has bared his protective side after hitting back at “sick” online trolls who commented on his Instagram pic to criticise the outfits his teenage daughters were wearing.

The famous chef shared a gorgeous family portrait from his twins, Holly and Jack’s, sweet sixteen birthday party.

The snap showed the twins alongside their sisters, 14-year-old Matilda, 17-year-old Megan, and a pal, Emma Montagu, with Gordon writing alongside the pic: “Very cool 16th birthday party @heddonstkitchen last night congratulations Jack & Holly #prouddad.”

However, the jovial mood soon turned sour when the photo was inundated with comments from users laying into the teenage girls for their outfit choices.

One wrote: “Wouldn’t let my daughter out like that. I’m 29 and I wouldn’t even go out like that. It’s called modesty.”

Others added: “Skirts are a bit short there, dad!

“Beautiful girls but let them be GIRLS. Those dresses are for grown a*s women

“Those girls are 16?? Jeez from the clothes I would have guessed 21.”

When asked about the negative comments, Gordon was eager to slam the haters, saying: “Like they have any right to suggest what our daughters wear….hilarious What next…. ”

Responding to another fan, he added: “Sick minded people Claire, my job is to teach my son how to respect girls.”

Which we think is a pretty brilliant response.

Fans have since flocked to the photo in question to flood it with positive comments, with many praising Gordon for being such a great dad and also slamming the haters for “sl*t-shaming” teenage girls.

If there is such a thing as pure liberal nonsense, this is definitely an example

Mod please come back! There’s another drama happening apparently the fan who met N today at LAX said he was going back to NYC to see a girlfriend because he was working for Valentine’s Day. Can you please shut this shit down?

-Mod- Heh. Let’s see if I’ve got my information correct. The only person who saw this alleged FB comment was a trolling anon who conveniently submitted to a gossip blog, correct? Norman allegedly volunteered that personal info to a random fan he just met at an airport, correct? Earlier this week, this same story was the going “theory” as to why Norman wasn’t with you-know-who for Valentine’s Day because he was working yet now he’s suddenly told the EXACT same excuse to a complete stranger, correct? One of the fan’s REAL friends commented on the photo asking where he, the fan, was headed and he didn’t answer them yet we’re supposed to believe the fan answered back to a complete stranger sending him weirdo PMs, correct? How very convenient and I have to call bullshit on every bit of it. I doubt the alleged FB comment even existed and also how convenient that it was allegedly “deleted.” 🙄 I suspected someone would grasp at straws to concoct bullshit seeing as Norman himself threw a wrench in their plans by not being in NYC on Valentine’s Day. I’ve never been more grateful than now that I took a break from the stupidity.

After everything… I’d still choose you.”  J-Hope

Hoseok glances over the back of the couch, watching as you pace in the kitchen. You’re on the phone, talking so quietly that he can’t hear you, but he can tell from the way you’re running your free hand through your hair that it’s not good. You always do that when you’re stressed.

He turns back to his computer and grabs his glass of wine from the coffee table, taking a healthy gulp before setting it aside again. He’s trolling through comments on their most recent V live sessions, smiling for every comment that’s directed at him. The maknae’s are usually the ones that receive the most attention from their fans, but recently the hyung line has been making a comeback. They’d recently released a mixtape that they all featured on, and it’s been received with incredible success.

You drop onto the cushions next to him and immediately snuggle into his side. He looks down at you, his eyes trailing over the bridge of your nose, the apples of your cheeks, the fan of eyelashes casting shadows upon your skin. The shadows under your eyes.

“Who was that?”

You hum and squint at him. “My mother.”

“Oh,” he murmurs, suddenly uncomfortable.

Two years ago, Hoseok had traveled to a small town in a foreign country, searching for a reason to keep going, to keep pursuing his dreams in the music industry, to find that old inspiration again. What he’d found was a beautiful young woman, love, and a muse with a heart of gold that had helped him propel BTS back into the spotlight. When the long distance between the two of you became too much to bear, you’d left everything you knew behind, your family, your friends, your job, to join him in Korea. Suffice it to say, your family hated him. Intensely.

“She was calling to rant about my sister’s decision to leave med school and start a pet daycare service with her boyfriend,” you say with a grin.

“I think she was expecting me to commiserate with her, but all I said was that I’m happy she’s pursuing her dreams. She got all quiet before saying, ‘I don’t know what I why I bothered to call you.’” You snort. “I said, ‘Me neither’ and she hung up.”

You shake your head, putting one hand on his stomach and drawing circles into his sweater. Grinning, you twist your head to meet his eyes but pause at the solemn look there. “Hey, what’s with the sad face?”

He doesn’t say anything for a few moments. “I just…hate that your relationship with your parents has suffered because of me.”

“Hey, Jung Hoseok.” You lift your hand and turn his face toward you. “Not a single bit of this is your fault. They’re just stodgy and traditional and set in their ways. They’ve never taken a risk in their lives… It’s not all that surprising that all three of their daughters did. This was my choice. All of the family drama in the world couldn’t keep me away from you.”

You sit up just enough to kiss him gently, just a press of lips, a tiny taste of sweetness. “After everything…I’d still choose you.”

Newsrooms are very, very, very white. Incredibly white. Anyone who disagrees with positive discrimination schemes, they just need to look inside the newsroom and see why they’re important. And the whiteness impacts on the coverage.
