Those ’70s Comics: 354

Inspired by episode 419 - “Jackie’s Cheese Squeeze”

Comments: Todd’s “Steven face” allowed me to continue to develop Jackie and Hyde’s storyline in the comics in a more explicit way during season 4. Instead of a gaping chasm between “Jackie Bags Hyde (3x08) and “Going to California” (5x01), like on the show (save the unintentionally subtextural and/or non-scripted interactions between J/H), Jackie and Hyde clearly feel a connection to each other in the comics.

Can I ask you what those Gravity falls books are that you have?? The ones that say comic on them? And is that a dvd?

Yep! They’re comic books! There’s a company on Amazon that’s making the show into comic books. It’s just the same plot but in comic form!

Also Disney has released a couple DVDs for gravity falls, but just for about half of the first season. But there’s two of them. (Don’t you wish Disney would release a blue ray set of both seasons :))))

i’m…. sorry, but i had to.

i must say, i connie is my favorite character to make jokes about, she and her family are so fun to me with their quirks and personalities, i would watch a show about connie, just her normal life and every once in a while she haves a magic adventure with steven, watching anime with his dad…. anyways… sorry for the steven’s mom joke

Me VS Fanfictions
  • me: nah I don’t like romance novels they’re so predictable and sappy
  • me: reads fanfiction of OTP falling in love in 347 different ways

Maybe they’ll save it. All the pieces. Store it in the town hall attic and rebuild it in a hundred years. Wonder who the hell we were.
