Can you explain to me why people like Kent so much? Not trying to be rude, but I don't remember him being in the actual comic all that much, so I'm wondering where you guys get all your facts about Kent from? Are they just commonly accepted headcanons or are they in Ngozi's extra content (like notes and things that aren't the actual comic)?
Okay so a lot of the facts for Kent Parson involve tweets from Ngozi and sometimes in the extra content in her notes after each update. A LOT are also headcanons, so to be honest there are kind of two different Kents out there- the one we know a ton about bc he’s piles of headcanons and fics. Then there’s the other, the one from the comic itself that we don’t know a lot about, but can try and guess through the small amount of content Ngozi gives us.
We DO know:
> he’s a “Hit Me Baby One More Time” Britney Spears fan which is very important information
> He is Bitty’s foil
> publicly known as modest (do with that what you will)
> misses Jack Zimmermann
Also, it’s cool to keep in mind that Kent Parson is going to be a very big character during Bitty’s senior year, so even if we don’t know a ton about him now we certainly will!
hey do you know any newer nuzlocke comics to get into? i need to branch out my library
hmmmm well first i have a tag here for all the nuzlockes (on tumblr) that i’m reading if you wanna check that out! as far as recs for relatively new comics/stories just starting out i can throw out a few:
Fault Line by @poltergeistparade - just recently came back after a hiatus. only a few pages in but very promising already. again phenomenal art and character designs and super good fight scenes/coloring. gijinka wonderlocke.
Star-crossed by @starcrossednuz / @sinnerbird - another gijinkalocke (can you tell my bias lmaooo). really really nice character designs, cute character interactions, wonderful art etc etc.
