Art Commissions At Supanova, Australia

Supanova Comicon in Perth and Sydney, Australia, has been a blast. Australia in general must be the friendliest country in the world. The people were generous, upbeat and down-right nice. The show itself was well organized and fun. This trip has been simply wonderful.

I’ve stayed busy throughout the two shows, Perth and Sydney. I managed to do 10 art commissions during the shows. I forgot to take photos of all the art but here are two of the finished art commissions that I remember to take photos of.

A new little mini-series/story I’ll be posting every Friday. Here’s one more comic this week for the lack of updates the past few weeks!

Yesterday, Packrat Comics, one of my absolute favorite comics shops as well as the recent winner of the “Will Eisner Spirit of Comics Retailer” award! held their annual “Not At Comic Con” event. I was honored to once again be among their always fabulous artist alley. This was my warm-up sketch I did of the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl! It was also one of the first non-digital sketches I’ve done in a little while, which made for a surprising challenge. Going to have to remember to exercise both my traditional AND digital art muscles in the future!
