comet crash

For me, being a dark-skinned black woman with natural hair, getting to be this center of this love story — Growing up, I didn’t get to see that very often…I think that artists and people in entertainment, we have such an incredible power to remind people of their worth and to help people dream big. So it’s exciting to get to be a part of that.

Can you write a Zukaang fic with Aang surprising Zuko somehow?

Aang managed to slip out of the way just before a comet of fire crashed into the wall besides him. The curtain he was hiding behind shot up in a blaze in a moment, what was elegant patterns blackening and curling into ashes under its burn.

“Show yourself!” he heard Zuko yell and Aang could practically imagine Zuko’s defensive pose, fists heating, readying another attack.

“Zuko! It’s me! Stop!” Aang slipped from behind the curtain, his hands in the air.

The shock slapped on Zuko’s face wasn’t exactly the one Aang had imagined when he first decided to sneak into Zuko’s room. Not the surprise Aang had considered when he landed Appa just outside the city and glided his way to the palace through the night and slid through Zuko’s window, easily opened with a little ice-bending to break a small lock.

Not really the surprise he hoped Zuko would show when he saw Aang for the first time, alone in his bedroom, finally having a moment to themselves for the first time in he didn’t know how many months.

“Aang!” Zuko hissed, lowering his arms. “What is wrong with you?”

Before Aang could answer there was a loud thump at Zuko’s door.

“Zuko!” Suki’s voice shot through, nervous, loud. Ready for a fight. “What’s going on—“

“It’s fine!” Zuko yelled back. “I’m fine. Don’t worry about it.”

  “We heard something—“

“I just… I saw a bug.” Zuko’s gaze cut over Aang’s in the dark. Aang took the time to bend the water from a washing basin to the flames on the curtains. “A big bug. It scared me was all. I’m going to bed now.”

“If you’re sure…” came Suki’s response.

“I am.”

Zuko and Aang waited in silence for a long moment, looking over each other, waiting to be sure the Kyoshi Warriors had returned to their posts. Aang was trying hard not to laugh. The annoyed look on Zuko’s face only made it all more funny.

“I just wanted to see you,” Aang finally said in a whisper, grinning.

“You almost gave me a heart attack,” Zuko returned.

“I had some time,” Aang explained. “And I thought… I mean, no one knows I’m here yet.”

Zuko looked over him for a moment, and then, slowly, his shoulders relaxed. He smiled.

“I’m glad you’re here,” he said. “Maybe… some warning next time.”

Aang had to laugh through his nose to keep it quiet. Zuko’s smile, the raise of his eyebrow, was really all Aang needed. He broke the distance between them with a few short steps. Zuko put his hands on Aang’s hips and Aang realized, after those months apart, he had grown taller than Zuko.

“I got your letter,” Aang said.

“I missed you,” Zuko answered.

Aang grinned. “Me too.”

They kissed.

It wasn’t the surprise Aang had hoped it would be, but it was just as good. They kissed most the night, and used their closeness, and the barriers of skin and bed silks to muffle their voices and all other sounds so the guards wouldn’t hear them. Aang knew in the morning, he’d return to the outskirts of the city and pretend a proper return. Zuko would act surprised and they’d spend minimal parts of the day in polite company.

For now, though, they had tonight.

The Rosetta spacecraft sends its final images of Comet 67P before crashing into it

Mission complete. On Friday morning, the European Space Agency’s Rosetta probe, the first-ever craft to obit a comet, ceased sending signals home. It was 7:19 a.m. Eastern — 40 minutes after the probe landed (or crashed) on the surface of Comet 67P. Rosetta revealed many things on its mission, including the odd texture of the comet’s core.

The World in Reverse: What is your character holding back?

“My inner pain…and  my past.”

The woman would then let out an exhausted sigh,  as one of her hands went up to cover almost her entire face especially her eyes…To shield the bitter tears that started to form slowly but gradually in the corners of her emerald green eyes.

We were… like crashing comets.
Destructive, yet captivating.
At least that’s what those all around us thought.

But…there’s no beauty in pain.
 There was only fascination.
They were fascinated of how bright we were burning,
And of how loud the big hit was.
But in all that brutality, we were slowly dying out.

It didn’t help as much as she thought….as she started to put out a small section of her  Inner pain into the word in the form of her childish poetry.

“I will get over this…I just need time.”

Comet 67P formed in gentle crash

I can’t believe we get to see Cas as an actual comet. He crashes into the earth then just casually climbs out of the crater he literally created and dusts himself off like it’s no big deal and is like “where the fuck am I?” I love my grumpy, badass angel son so much.

probability, they said,

of a different universe,

an alternate reality,

could range between zero, all the way to one.

from zero, to one,

the possibilities;

the could haves, the maybes,

the what ifs, the differences -

separate lands or separate souls.

the chances, they said,

of people chancing upon each other,

zero, all the way to one.

the certainty of it, they said,

like the indefinite occurrence

the odds, they said,

zero, all the way to one.

in this life, they said,

it could be zero, or one.

I fly like a comet, soar like a comet, crash like a comet, I’m just a comet…

In general, whenever Greg sings or plays his guitar, it hits me right in the heart and reminds me of my Dad. So when I saw young rockstar Greg I wanted to hug my dad- this is as close as I can get I guess. I’ll see him soon though~

Edit: Now as a jpg cause the transparency wasn’t working properly.

Steven Universe Comet theory

So if you haven’t heard it, it’s the theory that a comet or something explosive crashed into the planet, hinted by Greg’s song “Like a Comet”. I find it very interesting like just look.

My idea is when the comet or whatever it was that was attempting to blast the area hit, Rose stopped it with her shield. As Greg said, “If it weren’t for her shield, man, I don’t know.”

Ignore the sloppy looking drawing but look, her shield protected the area from the blast. It has the high ground that would have been unaffected by the blast behind the shield. It would have had to of been a large shield but we know the shield can grow from the episode “The Return”.

Whether or not it was the giant fusion (Temple) that was shadowed in the episode “Historical Friction” or Rose herself, it appears that in one way or another, a blast was averted by Rose’s shield and spared the area.

I can’t shake this feeling that the planets are drawing us back together but for what reason? Other than to make my heart comet into your earth, crash and burn within your grasp.
You led me to your bed,
Told and reassured to be at ease.
Clothes, skin, and bones tossed to the floor.
Nothing to bear but our souls and universe.
We crashed like comets on a moon,
Two currents in the sea.
I wasn’t ready to show that much,
But you caught me off guard
Because I was drunk off your lips.
I wouldn’t have shown you my
Bullet holes if I knew you’d end up
Pulling the trigger a few more times.
