I feel like I need to calm down I pump out too much Reylo fanart in short periods of time

anonymous asked:

what do you think all of their bedrooms look like? which ones are messy and which are tidy? what kinds of themes (if any) would they have? do they like decorations? does pidge just have tech EVERYWHERE and keith just doesn't know how to decorate but he has something similar to his conspiracy board back home?? lance has pictures of beaches and things that remind him of earth? i'm curious about coran's room too does he even have one what is he

okay listen up have i got a wall of text for you

  • shiro’s room is i m m a c u l a t e
    • that shit is cleaner than a hospital alright lemme tell you
    • when he gets in a cleaning mood he’s literally that one video of that person throwing clothes around screaming about cleaning
      • you know the one
    • he has a nightlight and he can’t sleep without it very well
    • the walls are empty except for like a couple of storage shelves with like two things on them each
    • he has a framed photo of all the paladins right by his bed and he looks at it when he has nightmares
    • the floors are white carpet, and the room has pale grey walls with lots of light
      • as far from galra appearance as he can get
  • keith has an unexpectedly average room
    • you’d kind of expect that he’d have like edgy MCR posters all over the place with black walls and a black floor you know the works
    • it’s surprisingly bright and airy and there’s a big window taking up the whole wall
    • he has those fancy sheer curtains and his room is obviously lived in but kind of still detached
      • he has a couple of small knick knacks here and there but nothing of super permanence
    • the conspiracy board is no longer used for conspiracies - he gave it to lance
    • don’t tell me he wouldn’t have a special wall mount specifically for his knife because he would
  • lance’s room goes through phases
    • it’s either drowning in clothes or relatively organised
    • his wardrobe is the neatest part of his room - everything is colour-coded, folded neatly, stacked perfectly
      • boy loves his clothes man
    • he enlisted everyone to help paint a wall in his room with whatever they wanted and it’s like an event now - once every couple of months they repaint lance’s wall
    • after keith gave him the conspiracy board he started gathering mementos and small bits and pieces from everywhere he visited
      • the center has a photo of his family that pidge helped him print
  • stepping into hunk’s room is like getting a hug
    • he slathered the walls in yellow paint as soon as he got the chance
      • “wow hunk now your room is as sunny as you”
    • he’s always got at least one or two candles lit and blows them out only when he’s sleeping
      • scents like chamomile, lavender, etc.
    • the lights are all warm, yellow, sunny lights instead of the blue of the castle
      • he totally programmed it himself
    • he would have a dreamcatcher over his bed
    • somehow his room always smells a bit of coffee and chocolate
  • pidge’s room is a fucking warzone
    • tech all over the place
    • empty chip packs and snack boxed littered everywhere
      • shiro stepped in there once and almost died
    • a serial cup hoarder - if you can’t find a cup 99.95% they’re all in pidge’s room
    • glow in the dark stars on the ceiling that are surprisingly accurate and make a couple of pidge’s favourite constellations
    • has like one lamp and room is basically in perpetual darkness
      • partially because they just rely on laptop light
        • also to hide all the rubbish
  • allura’s room is the living embodiment of Aesthetic™
    • she’d have fairy lights, a four-poster bed, the works
    • fluffy rugs and bed drapes
    • probably has a small mini-bed and such for the mice
    • literally the fluffiest, plushest bed ever
      • lance is convinced it’s made out of literal dreams
    • neat and very minimalist overall with decoration - lots of soft pastels
  • coran repurposed a small store-room as his own
    • bits and bobs everywhere
    • organised chaos - unlike pidge, he can find everything
    • shelves upon shelves
    • a really comfy armchair is his staple, and he’ll just fall asleep on that instead of his bed
FANFIC CONTEST "IF I FELL"

Rating: General
Warning notes: none

“Mr. McCartney, this is for you.”
Paul turned towards the boy on their dressing room’s door. He was very young, probably new here, and already involved in the set-up of Wings’s first gig in New York. It was perfectly clear the reverential respect in his eyes. It was something Paul had seen many times by now, and still he had never gotten used to.
He got up, walking away for a moment from his new band and his daughters, who were playing very noisily. Paul went to the boy, who seemed very scared of interrupting their post-gig party. In his hands there was a basket full of presents: some flowers, a box of chocolate and many letters and packages.
“Who sends it?” Paul asked, picking up the basket.
“Your fans, sir, they left them in the entry.”
“Thanks… um…”
“Michael, sir, my name’s Michael.” The boy answered right away.
“Thank you very much, Michael.” Paul said with a wink, “Very kind of you.”
Michael smiled briefly, and with a nod he went away.
Paul chuckled to himself and started to look around his presents. He put the flowers aside, while chocolate went with the other food. He would have read the letters later, but the packages aroused his curiosity. After all he knew that some fans were very original about choosing what to give him. By now he had an enviable collection with all sorts of plushies and female underwear. It was funny when he was younger and single, but now he was married with a family, and it was a little bit inappropriate. Fortunately Linda became used to it quite soon. She perfectly knew who she was married to!
Amongst all those presents, though, there was something very soft which drew his attention. He immediately took it in his hands and started to unwrapped it.
The chatter of his bandmates and the shrieks of his daughters became just a muffled noise all round him, when he ended up with a shirt in his hands.
A red checked shirt.
*****
“And how much will you stay away?”
Paul was sitting on John’s bed, gently strumming his guitar while he was staring at his mate stuffing clothes in a little rucksack. John was about to leave for Durness.
“Don’t worry, Macca. I’ll see your stupid face in just a week.”
“Mm.”
Paul mumbled, bending his head, and John stopped immediately to look at him with a very clever smile. He knew very well what was in his bandmate’s little head.
“Please, not again, Paul.”
“What?” Paul asked, looking at him curiously.
“You’re going to be a fucking pansy. Again.”
Paul pouted, outraged, resting his guitar aside, “I’m not.”
“Yes, you are, I know you by now. You’re going to say you’ll be missing me and that you hope I’ll come back soon.”
John laughed, teasing him, and Paul snorted, crossing his arms on his chest, “Go fuck yourself, Lennon. I heartily recommend it.”
“I’ll gladly do it. But, first of all, I’ll ask you a favour.”
“My arse!” Paul mumbled, pouting deeply.
“That’ll be wonderful. Maybe later, Paulie. At the moment I was thinking something less entertaining. And if you’ll do it for me, I promise I’ll tell you something beautiful.”
The promise John was offering him was quite tempting and it worked: Paul turned to look at him, lifting an eyebrow.
“What is it?”
“Well, do me a favour first, and then I’ll tell you. I’m not so stupid, am I?”
The boy on the bed sighed, defeated, “Let’s see.”
“Could you bring me that pair of white jeans in the closet, please?”
“That’s all? What’s the matter with you? Your Highness is too exhausted for a little walk?”
It was literally just a walk, two fucking steps, Paul thought dragging himself on his feet.
“Hey, someone is working really hard here and it’s not you. And, I’m sorry for asking you, sir, but haven’t you come here to help me?
“I came just to say goodbye, that’s all. Now I’m regretting it.”
John giggled, getting back to his task: putting clothes, underwear and anything else in the suitcase.
Paul opened the closet and looked for John’s white jeans on the shelves. He hated those jeans. John was irresistible with them on, and Paul have seen him pulling too many birds in Liverpool. Did he have to bring those to Durness? Why couldn’t he choose something else?
Biting his lower lip to hold back his sudden jealousy attack, Paul tried to focus on his task. When he saw the jeans, he reached for them and started to pull back, but his attention was caught by something else. It was the well-known colour of a roughly folded shirt, hidden between the messy and crumpled clothes.
He immediately recognised that shirt: it was the same shirt John was wearing when they met for the first time three years ago. Three long, wonderful, perfect years ago.
Paul grabbed it and stared, unaware he had a very stupid smile on his lips. He was caught up remembering that day, how fucking awesome was seeing John playing and singing for the first time, how Paul was thrilled while he was performing in front of someone that looked like bloody Elvis. So when John called him, Paul jumped.
“What’s up?”
“Oh, nothing.” Paul said, trying to hide his embarrassment, “I just found this one.”
“So what?”
John’s confused look made him worrying.
“You don’t remember, do you?”
“I remember it’s a terrible shirt.” John pointed out, looking at it with a sneer, “How the fuck could I even wear it?”
Paul sighed and looked the shirt with a very deep desire, “If you don’t like it anymore, can I take it?”
“Don’t even talk about it. At least you must tell me first what it should remind me. I have to know what sort of relic I’m giving away.”
“Well, if you don’t remember it, maybe it’s not important for you. Don’t you think?” Paul asked very disappointed, throwing the jeans across his face.
John stared to Paul’s pout for a while, then he walked over him and pushed the boy on the bed.
“What the fuck are you going to do?” Paul complained, trying to get up again.
All his efforts were useless, John was faster and climbed on him, pinning him down against the mattress with his body’s weight.
“I am a fucking egocentric and forgetful prick, Paul! Tell me now and don’t act like a fucking pansy. It’s just so stupid.”
“Me.” Paul burst out, “It has to remind you of me.”
John seemed to think about it very well, before he had an enlightenment, and then he smiled.
“Oh, yeah, it’s that shirt, isn’t it?”
Paul curled his lips in a deeper pout, and looked away towards the shirt. It has slipped away from his hands when John had grabbed his wrists.
“Paul, you’re so cute when you’re mad at me, but please, don’t be.”
Paul just ignored him.
“Come on, you know how I am. It’s not really my fault, is it?” John mumbled, holding the tip of Paul’s nose between his fingers.
Paul sighed, “Sadly.”
John bend down, rubbing his face against Paul’s soft cheek, “Please, smile for your good old Johnny.”
Paul turned to look at him again and stared at John’s begging little smile, so close to Paul that the younger lad shivered unconsciously in his arms.
“All right then, cheeky bastard.”
John seemed satisfied when Paul smiled at him. Finally.
“However I can’t really give it to you, now. I perfectly remember its sentimental value.” John said grabbing the shirt with a hand and hiding it behind his back.
“It’s not fair.”
“It’s mine, after all. Perfectly fair. Why the hell do you want it anyway?”
“Because I like it and it reminds me of you.”
“You don’t need this to remember me, do you?” John whispered on Paul’s lips.
The younger lad stared at that sweet and familiar mouth with longing, mumbling something very stupid, “Do I?”
John shook his head, and then he went down and kissed him, tenderly and passionately, so much that Paul was left with red cheeks and out of breath.
Maybe, maybe!, John managed to make him forget about that bloody shirt.
“And… mm… that was the beautiful thing you had to tell me?”
But not that, apparently.
What a memory, Macca!
“Yeah, that was it, stupid git.”
“It wasn’t exactly something to tell, was it?”
And then John laughed, before kissing him again and again.
“Really, Paul, how fucking fussy you are?”
And again and again…
*****
Paul held the shirt in his hands.
The memory, even if so far away, was still so vivid and alive that raised powerful feelings in him. Feelings that would have overwhelmed him right now and then, if Linda didn’t come along.
“What is it?”
“Oh, nothing, darling. Present from some fan.”
Linda stared at the shirt with a smile, before turning towards her husband, “They never gave you a shirt, did they?”
“No.” Paul said with a smile, “Never.”
The woman giggled and picked up one of the chocolates boxes for the girls.
Paul looked again at the shirt, noticing a little note that was sticking out from the small pocket. He immediately took it to read it, even if he already knew what was written on.
And most important, who had written it.
‘Happy anniversary, Paul.’

♫Technicolour Beat- Oh Wonder// Marauders Era: Sirius x Reader

A/N: This is just something I thought of while listening to this song, and I hope you enjoy it!#

She set him free in an unbelievable way; her carelessness was contagious, filling the air with every word she spoke. She was the light breeze that pushed the brooding clouds away from the sun, allowing the warm light to enliven his life.

She saw the buried tragedies, casting them aside with a touch of her fingertips, allowing him to glow the way he was meant to.

Sunrises meant nothing until he learned the admiration she had for them, until the 5 am light caressed her face as she closed her eyes and smiled at the sky, her cheeks flushed with the peacefulness.

“Get up, get up, get up” Y/N nudged him repeatedly.

“You’re making the bed shake for all the wrong reasons” he groaned, pulling a pillow over his head.

“Wake uuuuuup!” she whined, tugging at his nightshirt.

His response was less than satisfying, as he mumbled “No thanks”.

Minutes later he was grouchily following her to the front of the castle, running a hand through his messy dark hair, eyes half closed.

The cold air woke him as he looked around, disoriented.

“It’s still dark! Are you bloody insane?!”

She smiled at him and pointed straight ahead “Look”.

She looked at him like a happy child, anticipating his reaction.

“What am I looking at?” he asked, as the sun began peeking through the tree branches and a soft breeze blew.

Her smile was infectious. He smirked, watching his best friend’s grin as the sun rose and grazed her face and her (y/e/c) eyes closed gently, facing the orb of light rising in front of them.

He didn’t have a favourite colour until he’d learned hers was yellow. After that day, he’d be perfectly happy living in a fully yellow house, surrounded by sunflowers.

“Y/N it’s your turn to ask Sirius” Lily pointed out.

“Please no, I’m terrible at coming up with questions. And dares.” she groaned.

“Don’t ruin the game now” he winked, smiling at her frustration.

“Fine. Truth or dare?” she mumbled, frowning at her friends.

“Dare” he said unsurprisingly.

She racked her brain for one until she finally gave up: “I dare you to tell us all your favourite colour” she said folding her hands across her chest and lifting her head up proudly.

“That’s possibly the worst dare I’ve heard since I’ve first played this game.” an unamused expression graced his face.

“You scared?” Y/N joked, smirking at him.

“I don’t have a favourite colour.” he said matter-of-factly, a sigh escaping his lips. “What’s yours then?” he looked at her, waiting for a response.

“Yellow” she happily said, her eyes crinkling with the smile lighting up her face.

“Let’s just say mine’s yellow too” her warm presence made him feel at peace with everything, and now the colour yellow did too.

Books were just words on paper until she’d read him to sleep one night and made them come alive and flutter through the air, embracing him softly through the sound of her voice.

He saw her familiar silhouette sitting on the couch in the common room, illuminated by the light from the roaring fireplace, her nose in a book.

“Why are you up?” he asked, jumping over the back of the couch and landing at her feet.

She didn’t look up, clearly captivated by the inked words in her hands “Why are you?” she mumbled distractedly.

“Couldn’t sleep” he said with a sigh, throwing his feet onto the couch right next to hers. She looked up from her text, closing it,never moving her index finger off the page: “How come?”

Sometimes Rain Falls

A BTS Fanfiction

Type: AU/Alternative Universe

Summary: Sometimes a normal life is a good one to lead; its nice…its easy…
But sometimes, normal isn’t the way that things were meant to be. And when you’re chosen as a possible candidate for one of the kingdom’s 7 princes, life isn’t as nice and easy as you always presumed it to be…especially when you catch the eye of more than one of them…

Trailer

Part 1

Part 2

Your eyes fight against the light pouring in through the window across from your bed as you come to the next morning, proceeding with your usual response of groaning and turning over to bury yourself under the covers to get more sleep until your mother came to force you out of the bed…

But that was before you felt the silk sheets brush against your cheek, and you drew in the scent of roses and lilies that seemed woven into the bed you had fallen asleep in. You jolt upright to see the pristine glass and brass furnishings of the room, instantly shrouding yourself in the covers of the bed as you try to calm your racing heart, the memories of the day before slowly returning to your mind.

‘How was your tour of the castle, Princess?’ your Prince asks beside you, his fingers gently touching your knuckles where your hand was tucked into the crook of his elbow, enabling him to guide you around the castle with the others, as the King had conducted a traditional tour of the grounds to introduce all the new Princess to their new home.

The first thing he’d told you was that his name was ‘Prince Hoseok’, the information being offered to you in an attempt to make you less timid towards him you assumed, and surprisingly, it had worked; you’d found yourself slipping into easy conversation with him as he’d guided you around, pointing out some of his favourite parts of the castle. With each little detail he himself had also become more ‘normal’, the tinny practiced laugh being exchanged for a much more heart felt, and higher pitched cackle that trailed off into a rich chuckle, the magazine cover smile that looked uncomfortable being exchanged for a wider, much easier and warmer image, as well as his strict upright posture slipping into a more fluid, carefree movement. Each little change distances himself from the previous image of your Princes that you’d held, and even though you’d reminded yourself numerous times that you should keep your guard up and remember your manners, you’d hadn’t been able to hold back a few smiles every now and then as you’d watched him talk, finding yourself taking in all the features of him as he’d continued to chatter to you.

Although you did find one thing beginning to bother you.

‘My name is Y/N.’ you suddenly say quietly, having come to find the title of ‘Princess’ uncomfortable as he’d continued to address you as such the whole walk around the castle, and you quickly look up at him to make sure you hadn’t offended him, being pleasantly surprised to see him smiling widely down at you.

‘Well…Y/N…I do hope you’ll feel comfortable here.’ He says smoothly, seemingly trying to suppress a grin, and the sight becomes infectious as you smile back at him, biting your lip as your mind runs away with the imagined image of what that smile looked like in the morning- since it did resemble the sun rising- before you quickly move your gaze back to the floor.

‘I think it will take some getting used to…although, I feel like I might get lost a few times-‘

‘In that case, I suppose I will have to show you around a few more times…’ He muses, still with that same smile on his face when you look up at him, but just as you feel your own lips quirk back up in the attempt of a grin, your gaze slips past Hoseok beside you, and to the dark eyes of the other Prince who had caught your eye earlier, the intensity of his look confusing you, before Hoseok had continued to speak and you’d turned your attention back to him to see his eyes glistening with something unreadable as he stared at you with a smile.

‘After all, I wouldn’t want you getting lost without me…’

Nicole Wermers, Untitled Chairs (2014-15) in Infrastruktur, 2015

Untitled Chairs (2014-15), is a series of unique dining chair and fur coat assemblages where the individual garments are seamlessly and permanently sewn around a chair’s form creating an entirely new one. The chairs themselves are Wermer’s adapted versions of a model created for German manufacturer Thonet in 1928 by architect and furniture designer Marcel Breuer, twentieth century ‘design classics’ that are still in production today. The Cesca chairs integrate a cantilevered tubular steel form with a cane or upholstered seat and backrest.

These have now been conjoined with women’s furs in various styles and colour, whose folds and visual allure boldly disport themselves coupled with additional silk linings and matching iridescent velvet seats, rendering the upright steel frame and cane back support entirely hidden from view. The coats hang as if their owners had left the room, a coded fleeting ritual marking their absence and their ‘ownership’ of the chair and its ‘place’ as one would do in a public space.

BBRae Week: Day 4

Goodbyes vs Lips/Kisses

Woops, I did both.

Raven felt strange.

Unfamiliar territory was a foreign concept to her these days thanks to growing up along with the Titans, and yet, she had never known this feeling before.

It wasn’t for lack of experience, though; she’d certainly had her fair share of relationships throughout the years, and had thus become accustomed to certain roller coaster aspects of such romances.

Yet, somehow, things with Garfield Logan were always different.

Hope you enjoy! And sorry for the long post! :B

Sometimes .. Your day just goes right. This is Marvel Double Feature #16, printed in the Philippines and published by National Book Store. Due to the climate in the country, paper doesn’t have a long shelf-life, so I was knocked-out when I saw the condition of this. Super-glossy cover, no blunted corners, no wrinkles, bends, folds, no colour break of any sort. For a Filipino book, this one is ‘up there’ for Mintyness (and actually puts a lot of Foreign comics that I own (conditionally) to shame. Beautiful book.

Here is a list of apps that help me in my daily life, from productivity to fun, I hope you will find this useful!

P.S: they’re all free!

♡ Study, concentration, productivity:

> Brain Focus: Like the pomodoro method? This app is for you! Beautiful and simple, you can edit the timer settings (for longer/shorter study or break). See statistics and graphic and check on your studying routine

> Forest: You can set a timer and it will plant a tree and block almost every other function on your phone. When the timer ends the tree is grown and you can cultivate your forest, but if you give up before the timer ends, the tree will die :(

> Sleep Better: Sets healthy sleep patterns based on your day (calm, stressful, phys. activities…)

> NeuroNation: Exercise your memory concentration, and logic thinking with these activities!

♡ Games that help while distract:

> 1010!: A new view on Tetris. Try to fit the block and create vertical/horizontal lines without filling all the screen

> Kami: Fold out coloured paper to fill the screen in as few moves as possible (first levels are free, then you have to buy)

> Flow: Connect the dots to fill the whole screen (many levels, you will not get bored!)

> Two Dots: By far my favourite, connect the dots to meet the goals. Pretty simple, adorable and addictive!

♡ Stress relief and health:

> Calm: Helps you meditate to achieve a better life. Has soothing sounds and landscapes. Great for exams week!

> Stop, Breathe and Think: Mental health is important too! This app does wonders for you well-being. Has many types of meditations like to improve gratitude, dealing with anxiety, kindness and much more!

> Hydro Coach: Input your daily habits and it will calculate how much water you need. It reminds you hourly and you can see graphics and achievements

> Clue: For the ladies! A simple menstrual calendar that tells you when your next menstruation, PMS and fertile period is. You can input your mood and symptoms for a more accurate forecast. ALSO! Has looots of information about symptoms, sex, STD’s and much more

That was all! Hope you guys enjoy it!
