Over the years I’ve found a Chrome extension here or there that has come in handy with my Tumblr escapades, and recently I’ve come across a few that really provoked me to make a list of recommendations for everyone else. Here are a few of my favorite Chrome extensions for Tumblr:
ColorZilla is a really useful extension when you’re trying to match colors in your theme. You can pull any color from any element on any website and it will give you a clipboard of colors you can use for reference later.
PicMonkey is my favorite online photo editor since the ending of Picnik. For people who don’t want to deal with the complexity of Photoshop or other editors, this one is fast and provides endless amounts of editing tools. The extension linked above will take any photo from a website or take a screenshot of the entire page and put it right into the PicMonkey editor for you.
You can use Stylish to edit the appearance of your Tumblr dashboard (along with other websites, like Facebook, YouTube, and many more!) by installing themes and extensions from UserStyles.org. The possibilities of what this extension can do are endless.
After the downfall of Missing E a few months ago, XKit brought back functional versions of One-Click reblog as well as bringing new, useful extensions such as the Outbox (shows the last 20 messages you’ve answered privately), Queue Shuffle, and an Auto Scroll extension.
