Minidress season is officially here. Making the case for shorter hemlines is Karlie Kloss, who put a sporty touch on the flirty style staple today in New York. Stepping out for an appearance on The Today Show, Kloss threw on a slick bomber jacket over a color-blocked dress with a cool Pop Art motif.
The silk-satin coat wasn’t exactly the most practical choice of outerwear given the rain forecast, though it worked wonders for the Esteban Cortazar knit dress she wore underneath. While the kicky micro length highlighted the supermodel’s mile-long legs, her jacket—as opposed to, say, a trenchcoat—let her really show them off. She elevated the look with a pair of strappy stilettos in bright red from LeSilla, which popped against her black jacket and tied in nicely with the pattern up top.
Harbison has continued to put together perfectly tailored color-blocked pieces for FW15. His presentation exuded a mature sexy attitude, and each piece included details so eye-catching, we had to do a double take. Check out the rest of the exclusive photos from Harbison collection on Milk Made.
Requested by anonymous. Part of the winter fic requests. Prompt: pulling you in for a kiss with a scarf.
“It’s time to get up, Y/N,” Tony said, shaking your arm. You groaned and rolled over in Tony’s enormous bed.
“Or you could just get back in bed,” you replied, peeking out of the covers to look at Tony.
“As great as that would be, we really have to make it to this press meeting.”
“Tony!” you whined. He laughed and sat down on the bed. He held your hand and looked down at you. “Please don’t make me go.”
“I don’t want to go either, but we have to.” You sat up in bed and crawled over to Tony.
“Or,” you said, wrapping your arms around his neck. “We could just stay here,” you said, placing a couple of kisses along his jaw.
“Let’s put a pin in this,” Tony said, taking your hands off of him. “Although I do want to continue this, I will be in massive trouble if I don’t go to the press conference.”
“Fine,” you said, flopping down on your back, before springing back onto your feet to get dressed. You padded into the master bathroom, and brushed your teeth. You threw your hair up in a high ponytail and reached for your blue and black color blocked dress. You were putting in your earrings when you saw Tony through the mirror. He was leaning against the door frame, staring at you.
“You’re so beautiful. Maybe we should stay,” Tony said, walking up behind you and leaving kisses down your back. He zipped up your dress and you turned to face him.
“I got dressed for this, so we are going to this damned press conference. But afterwards,” you said, wrapping your arms around his neck as he wrapped his around your waist, pulling you against him. “I’m all yours.” Tony smiled and kissed you, his tongue exploring your mouth while your hands explored his hair. “We should probably go,” you said breathlessly, pulling away from him.
“Fine, I’ll deal with you after the press conference.” You snorted and walked back to your closet to get your heels.
“Let’s go,” you said, taking his hand. Tony shook free from your hand and you looked over at him.
“Let’s keep our PDA to a minimum. I don’t want it to raise any questions during the press conference. And I can barely keep my hands off of you.”
“Fine. Hands off until after the press conference,” you said, holding out his coat for his to slip into. You put yours on and called to Tony from the bedroom, “Can you grab my scarf?”
“The black and white checkered one.” He handed the scarf to you and you wrapped it around your neck, following Tony to the car. Although you and Tony had been together for quite some time, you tried to keep it secret from the public eye. Of course, your friends and family all knew but it was better to keep it hush hush with the media.
You sat in the car and kept quiet. When you arrived at the building, you followed Tony out of the car and walked into the conference hall. You locked eyes with Natasha and walked over to her. You spoke to her for a moment before the press started.
It began with simple questions about the Avengers and each superhero respectively. Yet, as the press conference the questions became more and more personal. They kept asking about personal relationships, limitations to their powers and the like. You stepped up to a microphone to bring the conversation back to what everyone came here for, safety with the Avengers.
“Is this really necessary? Let’s try to stay on topic,” you said, trying to bring the conversation back. Although, it seems your efforts were fruitless. Luckily, the questions weren’t targeted at Tony right now. He looked over at you and winked. You smiled but dropped your grin when one of the interviewers looked over at you.
“What about you, Tony? Anyone special in your life?”
“I don’t see how that’s important here. We’re here to talk about the effectiveness and restraints placed on the Avengers, and you’ve turned us into some reality stars. That’s none of your business, if you want to ask about the safety of the world then please go ahead, if not, I’m done here,” Tony said, pulling out his microphone and ear piece and standing up. The other Avengers stood up as well, and Tony walked towards you. He placed his hand on the small of your back as you walked out of the room. You all walked to your dressing rooms and gathered your things. The Avengers were all grateful to Tony, but so were you.
“That was amazing what you did in there,” you said, kissing him.
“Hey, get out of here!” Steve yelled. You turned as a picture flashed and saw a man running out of the room with a camera.
“Shit, there goes our secret,” Tony said. “I’m sorry, Y/N,” he said, taking your hand, rubbing small circles with his thumb.
“It’s okay, I knew it would happen someday. I just wish it could of been on our terms, ya know?” Tony nodded and handed you your coat and scarf. You were walking down the steps when Tony grabbed your hand. You looked over at him as he stared at you. “Tony?”
He grabbed your scarf and pulled you in for a kiss, for the whole world to see. You were surprised, but melted naturally into his kiss. Tony pulled away first and smiled at you, taking your hand. He led you to the car, avoiding the flashing cameras and shouting.
“Sorry about that. You said you wanted the world to know on our terms, now they do. And that reporter’s picture from earlier won’t be worth anything.”
“Thank you, Tony,” you said, kissing him. He cupped your cheek and pulled you in for a deeper kiss. You looked over in the limo to where the window to the driver was. You crawled over and closed it. Tony raised an eyebrow at you as you sat down in his lap.
“What was that for?”
“Would it be completely cliche if we had sex in this limo right now?”
“No,” Tony replied immediately, grabbing your hips as you kissed him hungrily.
Selena Gomez herself shared the 3rd and final teaser photo from her new Louis Vuitton Series 5 Autumn/Winter 2016-2017 campaign. She wore this very colorful black, green, white and blue color block printed dress from the label’s Autumn/Winter 2016-2017 Collection.
She completed her look with black heeled combat boots and a brown monogram tote bag from the same look.
She didn’t deviate from the runway example at all for this look but i love it. When do we ever see Selena in colors and prints? I even love the black boots and dark lipstick because they add some edge to the ensemble and she wears it well.
Can’t wait to see the rest of this campaign! In the meantime, let’s discuss everything so far on @askselenascloset
