colonial garb

amusing thought I had while walking through the North End today:

scenario 1: 2016 Deacon, posing as a Freedom Trail tour guide (aka the ones who dress in full colonial garb), giving some unfortunate foreign tourists a wildly inaccurate re-telling of the American Revolution

scenario 2: 2287 Deacon, dragging Sole around on a “Scenic Tour of the Freedom Trail”, providing the same wildly inaccurate re-telling of the American Revolution. Every time Sole tries to correct his facts he embellishes them even more until the story is just totally ridiculous. Sole becomes more and more aggrivated as it goes on and he remains completely dead-pan as usual.

“And I bet you didn’t even know that Old North Church is where they buried Paul Revere’s frozen head.” “no, that’s not even remotely t-” “Yeah, they saved it after he was killed in the alien invasion of Bunker Hill.“ “…can we just finish the mission please”

i have an announcement too. there is a colonial woman? on the wing? and i saw her- there is something they’re not telling us! there’s a colonial woman, she was churning butter, she was churning butter on the wing, she is out there right now. there is something they’re not telling us. there’s a woman on the wing i saw her there is something they’re not telling us. she is dressed in traditional colonial garb- [wrestling the flight attendant] get! off! there’s something they’re not telling us!!!
