FIDGET SPINNERS, let’s do this

“Fidget spinners are distracting.”

ok i’m autistic, adhd, sensory problems, tic disorder, i got the whole holofoil collectors pack. And i did k-12 through college without fidget spinners and let me tell you: I FIDGETTED. I WAS A FIDGETING MCFUCKER. For kids with this brain structure this can literally be the only way to get their brain under control, by giving that one problematic part of the brain a comforting repetitive task just to get it to shut the hell up. I had to fidget, just to get my brain to shut the hell up and let me focus. Kids with ADHD and similar learning disorders will fidget, spinners or no spinners, because that allows their brain to function. Fidget spinners are incredibly less distracting than the alternative.

I flippin wish i had had a fidget spinner, and the knowledge that my fidgeting was ok and served a purpose. Because instead I fidgeted with whatever was available: knee bouncing, nail biting, tearing up paper, biting pencils, biting my hair, clearing my throat, etc. And on top of being constantly told off by teachers, and believing my inability to sit still was because i was rude, disobedient, because i was a bad kid–on top of all of that, i got to be the Weird Kid. Instead of being a kid with a fidget spinner, which wasn’t an option then, i was the kid with All The Weird Gross Unexplained Fidgets. That’s how my classmates saw me, and it was fucking awful.

So let kids have their goddamn spinners and cubes. they aren’t fucking distracting, not half as distracting as the makeshift coping fidgets kids w/ learning disorders will have to hobble together otherwise. Give kids the tools they need. And give them a goddamn break, they fucking need it.

5 times Peter Nureyev kissed Juno Steel and 1 time Juno kissed him back

I’ve been having a lot of thoughts recently about Jupeter and physical affection and Juno’s problem with Not Letting Himself Have Nice Things; thus, this fic was born. Read on for a little bit of angst and a whole lot of fluff and happiness. (Because deep down, all we really want is for Juno Steel to be happy.)

1.

“Life can wait one night, Juno. Come here.”

He knows he shouldn’t. He’s been suspicious of Rex from the start; by now he’s almost certain that the Dark Matters agent is not what he appears. The flirtation, the kindness, and even that inexplicable trust could easily all be an act put on to seduce him into incompetence. But now Rex is leaning in, one hand pulling at Juno’s coat and the other curling around the back of his neck, and Juno can’t make himself turn away.

CODE OF THE DUELIST

introduces Link Summoning (with a link Gaia obv and a familiar face from 20 thousand years ago)

Cybers as a type of monster (because everyone likes being confused with cyber the Archetype and cyber the type)

Dark lightsworns that banish and mill (because why not get old school fans on board with all these changes by just dangling in front of them a partner to judgment Dragon)

Oh and it’s the first set of a new series to continue printing the previous series cards (because were never happy waiting 8 years for collectors packs to get cards we liked 8 years ago from a previous series)

Can Be Found In: Collectors Pack 2017 (CP17-JP041)

Is fine to sometimes take certain risks the opponent might benefit from, as the results couled become quite favorable anyways. From reducing our Life Points to allowing the opponent obtain more cards, is worth the payoff if means great improvements or powerful outcomes of our Deck and strategies. So even though there’s a good chance the opponent will gain their winning conditions or simply more options to counter our game, if it means gaining favorable results to the point that said dangers can be easily solved is worth trying to play those options anyways.

“Number 29: Mannequin Cat” is a particular Xyz Monster as works arround a series of quite specific conditions for her best performance. By detaching one of her materials “Mannequin Cat” will revive an opponent’s monster to their field, something that seems very counterproductive to invest on her summon. However, this ability is just to trigger her truly main effect, as each time there’s a Special Summon on the opponent’s field (Outside Damage Step" “Mannequin Cat” will summon a monster sharing the summoned monster’s Type or Attribute from our hand, Deck, or Graveyard. Is an unorthodox monster to play with as either helps the opponent by summoning back their monsters as well trying to assure the best summons from our side. However, while on her own might seems a very difficult Xyz Monster to play arround with, “Mannequin Cat” has a lot of resources to not only deal with the opponent summons but also assure the best summons for ourselves.

As a Rank 2 monster “Manequin Cat” is in a solid position to be on the field right on time to deal with the many Special Summons dominating the game nowadays. Entire archetypes like Frog and Nimble have no difficulties whatsoever to gather materials and Xyz Summon as soon the Duel begins. However, we might need some diversity in our Deck so “Mannequin Cat” can assure her own summons against most opponents, so instead we should reduce it to particular options such as “The Agent of Creation - Venus” and “Obedience Schooled"while keeping a flexible Deck for other kinds of setups. A helpful option to keep a diverse monster pool but having plenty of materials for "Mannequin Cat” is to work arround Paleozoic cards, as since most of them start as Trap Cards they can easily swarm the field while keeping our monsters ready to be brought by this Xyz Monster. Keep on mind that “Mannequin Cat” only needs materials to revive opponent’s monsters, so later on we can bring her back by our own revival effects (including copies of herself) to keep answering opponent’s summons.

Obviously letting the opponent retrieve monsters from the Graveyard is a dangerous ability to work on its own, but there are several ways to not rely on it or even immediately solve any advantages our opponent might gain in the process. In a time where Special Summons are extremely prominent, in many scenarios “Mannequin Cat” doesn’t need to spend materials to force a Special Summon on the opponent’s field, making her mere pressence right from early turns sufficient to start gathering our own monsters in response of the opponent’s own summons. But we can go even further and neither wait for the opponent to summon monsters or use “Mannequin Cat” effect, as we can bring monsters like the Kaiju archetype and their diverse Types and Attributes to bring all sorts of monsters while tributing the opponent’s, to cards such as “Grinder Golem” and “Black Garden” working arround a very particular Type or Attribute. But if we really need to use “Mannequin Cat” ability to revive a monster and trigger her second effect, we can follow with removal effects or cards like “Creature Swap” to immediately solve this problem.

“Number 29: Mannequin Cat” has solid potential to dominate the board in a time where Special Summons are the norm, but even though has more than enough options and opportunities to assure her summons is still complicated to unleash all her potential. Unless working arround cards like Kaijus or “Black Garden”, is difficult to assure “Mannequin Cat” will provide a summon in response of whatever monsters the opponent is playing arround with. But since the only restrictions are a matching Type or Attribute, is quite easy for “Mannequin Cat” to bring powerful creatures such as “Archlord Kristya” or “Dark Simorgh” among several others and take full dominance for most of the Duel. It might be rough to mix the right materials for her Xyz Summon as well powerful candidates for her effect, but overall “Mannequin Cat” has incredible potential to gather our best monsters while avoiding most of her flaws in the process.

Personal Rating: B

+ Summons a monster with the same Type or Attribute as a monster Special Summoned on the opponent’s field
+ Can revive an opponent’s monster to force her summoning effect
+ Several mechanics as well the prominence of Special Summons assures her best performance without any risks

- The opponent might highly benefit from summoning a monster in their Graveyard
- Effects easily become situational unless in a Deck arround her

The Moon in the Houses

The House the Moon falls under in the Natal Chart shows where we feel most at home, and where we seek emotional satisfaction. Perpetual emotional unrest can be detected by studying the House the Moon is in, and often are manifested by constant ups and downs in these areas of life.

It is in these areas that we should aim to avoid superficial or temporary thrills, choosing instead to form deep attachments. This will give us a true feeling of belonging and emotional fulfillment.

The Moon is most at home in the Fourth House, as it is it’s natural ruler. It also thrives in the Second House.

viking-mettle-deactivated201509  asked:

I bought skyrim when it first came out. I later got it free with my new Xbox 360 Slim as well. Then I sold them and about a year later bought the collectors pack (or whatever it was called) then I sold it and my Xbox... again. Now I'm getting it for PC so I can finally try mods. As of next week I will have owned skyrim 4 times...

Welcome to the world of mods!

With Mattel losing it’s Disney Princess license in 2016 to Hasbro I wonder how much of this was because Disney wanted to buy Mattel to add to their megacompany and Mattel refused. I hope Mattel will focus even harder on Monster High next year. Especially with the CEO shakeup.

With that said I’d like to put out into the universe my requests for 2016:

  1. BLIND BAGS! I will keep saying this until forever. Give us some shoes and accessories in blind bags/boxes and charge too much for them. We’ll still buy them! I fail to see where this could go wrong.
  2. NEW FACES FOR THE GIRLS/webisode inspired dolls! Mattel has a history of changing it up early and giving lines like their My Scene dolls new “smiling” face molds so I’d like to see the core girls done with new expressive faces (Frankie smiling, Clawdeen with an eyebrow raised, Cleo side-eyeing some bitch etc). Also throw in Abbey on a tall body and Draculaura on the short body and I’d be one happy collector.
  3. FASHION PACKS WITH THOSE EXTRA HANDS WE WERE TEASED WITH! I’d love for these to come out soon. The girls really could use new fashion packs. Instead of waiting with baited breath for the newest girl to have some new duds just give them a fashion pack. Those 2 pack fashion packs were great! Why did they have to stop? Series 2: Lorna, Iris, Jane and Honey/Viperine oh and Spectra.
  4. A winter themed line. How has this not happened yet?
  5. More Spectra. Too much Spectra does not exist.
