HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Hear the experts explain how Robert Rauschenberg blazed a new trail for art in the second half of the twentieth century.

From paintings including flashing lights to a stuffed angora goat, Rauschenberg’s appetite for incorporating things he found in the streets of New York knew no limits. Pop art silkscreen paintings of Kennedy sit alongside 1000 gallons of bentonite mud bubbling to its own rhythm. Rauschenberg even made a drawing which was sent to the moon.

THE ART OF BOOKS | Ekaterina Panikanova

Constructing multi-layed paintings across a plane of vintage books, old papers and documents, artist, Ekaterina Panikanov creates an ambitious project treading the lines of collage-making and installation. Surreal and expressive in nature, Panikanov’s installation uses both paint and ink to manifest her signature vintage mood. Generally monochromatic in nature, to accentuate the Victorian-esque style, Panikanova carefully curates the imagery found in her work with a combination of random animals, catering, portraits and nature.
