Mason and I have this theory on how certain music can make you feel real, and produce emotion that is tangible. Upon listening to it for the first time, I could have told you the words that Chris was going to sing before they met my ears, I could have hummed along to the melody before the beat dropped, that’s what good music does to you. That’s what happens when music touches your soul, something ancient and absolute reacts like saliva filling your mouth from something beyond appealing. It creates a synapse in the most unused part of your cerebellum, flooring your body and igniting your bones, causing you to finally understand. Good music: music that haunts, music that understands, music that awakens, music that kills; is infinite.
