cold air intakes

Often times, thin wall tubing that is bent to a tight radius requires “internal support” to prevent wrinkling. Headers, turbo component, cold air intakes and even furniture and architectural components provide good examples of tubing that needs a mandrel. The “mandrel” provides internal support during the bending process, providing a flawless, wrinkle free bend.

Baileigh offers one of the most complete lines of manual, NC and fully automated CNC mandrel tube benders in the world. If you have a tube bending application you would like out team to take a look at, give us a call or email

Exhaust installed. The change in sound was immediately noticeable, of course. Not too loud at idle but has a nice, deep, rumble. It comes alive in higher RPMs. Throttle response feels improved. Despite what the company says the gains are, I won’t know for sure until I’m on a dyno. My cold air intake should be here in about a week or so. Special thanks to purestreetspecialistsallure, rauhweltbegriff and kip-hall for helping out.

@fameone here’s some random photos of the build. It was all put together, ready to start that night. I went to pour oil in it and it started leaking from the head gasket. So I tore it all back out and I’m getting a thicker head gasket. Total mod list of everything done to the engine:
JE forged pistons
Eagle Hbeam rods
ARP head studs
Cometic head gaskets
FP Black
New OEM Crank
Kartboy “Heavy Breathing cat” oil cap
Perrin 3 inch turbo inlet hose
SPT cold air intake
‘08-'14 STi intercooler
Mishimoto Intercooler hoses
Aftermarket radiator
Invidia catless uppipe
Tial External Wastegate
Invidia catless downpipe (Divorced wastegate)
Invidia N1 Street Catback (Titanium tip)
Injector Dynamics 1000cc top feed injectors
Deatschwerks DW200 Fuel Pump
NGK spark plugs (One step colder)
Grimmspeed Electronic Boost Control Solenoid (EBCS)
Cobb Accessport V3
My list was quite a bit shorter before it spun a bearing. I was running a VF30 with 750cc injectors, stock internals. Regardless it lasted until 210,000 miles on that setup so I’m proud. lol
Thanks for looking homie.
