coach sports

instead of Jack, Bitty  invites Shitty to Georgia

- Mrs Bittle insists that they all call him Mister Crappy. Shitty has no idea who they’re talking to.

- The Bittles are all impressed by Dicky’s lawyer friend, because Shitty knows how to impress parents

- Shitty and Coach bond over mustache grooming

- Shitty watches sports with Coach while Bitty cooks with his mom

- When Bitty comes back, they’re talking about toxic masculinity and heteronormativity in sports

- It seems like Coach is receptive to feminist theory when it’s talked in his language aka à la sports jock

- Years later, when Bitty comes out to his parents, he tells them he’s dating a boy he met on the team.

- Oh, are you dating Mister Crappy??? :D

- …No? I’m dating Jack!

- Oh. Okay.

caroouellette13 On November 5th, at 10:18pm, after 40 weeks and 2 days, Julie and I welcomed to the world our beautiful daughter Liv.
I feel truly blessed to experience this incredible adventure with my love and best friend Julie. I did not realise it was possible to love this much until I met this little buddle of joy!
It was a happy pregnancy for us. Liv was on the ice to win the Clarkson Cup with Les Canadiennes de Montréal this past March. We spent the summer coaching the sport we love with great friends.
Thanks to our families and friends for your support and for being part of this new journey. Cheers to the sleepless nights to come

juliechu1321 We have already been blessed with so many things in our life: Amazing friends and family, Love, Representing our countries, and doing things we are passionate about each day. Summary: We are made of the pieces of what we remember, and we hold in ourselves the hopes and fears of those who love us. As long as there are memories to call our own, there can be no true loss. But Park Jimin has no such privilege.

A really HUGE thank you to my lovely britt @mintyoongee and nhi @ohmanholyjungkook for so kindly betaing for me!!!

I highly recommend that you listen to Reset by Tiger JK while reading this! :>

The elastic of your hair tie tugs at your ponytail as you reach to tighten it, but the sting on your scalp is nothing compared to the churning pit in your stomach. The gathering perspiration on the palms of your hands is way too slick to be attributed to the heat of the midday sun alone, and you consider retreating back to the safety of your dorm instead.

The shade of the indoor sports centre provides no respite from the sweltering weather, but the sight of the other students already gathered and starting their own warm ups sends panic pulsing through your veins. The incredulity of the situation makes you want to scoff: you, the most unathletic person ever, actually signed up for a volleyball elective. If not for the uni’s regulation that each student fulfil a minimum of 1 sports module, there’s no way you’ll ever willingly indulge in any physical activity more strenuous than running for the bus.

You chuck your bag into the lockers near the stands, trying to stall for time as you tighten the hold of your ponytail one more time before smoothing down the front of your shirt. Maybe it won’t be that bad, you try to convince yourself. Volleyball is just a more intense game of don’t let the balloon hit the floor; so how hard can it be?

The sound of a whistle blowing and shoes squeaking across the indoor court puts an end to your musing, and you slam the door of the locker closed before heading to the centre of the court with all the other students. Most of them seem to be dressed in sports jerseys of some sort, donning sweatbands and kneepads that make them look like actual professional players. A cursory glance around confirms that you’re one of the few students not sporting such extra accessories, and you curse inwardly for not choosing a more beginner friendly sport like track and field or basketball.

Dean/Cas, high school AU, rivals to friends/lovers? (And it's nice to see you back, I like your writing a lot, I hope things are okay for you!)

Dean wasn’t exactly a bad student but he’d never been particularly great at anything. Math was his best subject and most of the time he got A’s or B’s in that but he wasn’t like some super genius. That would be Sam.

When he started wrestling, he thought he’d finally found something he was great at. Coach Blevins was impressed with him and since Benny Lafitte was graduating in a year, there didn’t seem to be anything holding Dean back from becoming the next team captain.

Until Castiel freaking Novak showed up.

Castiel transferred early in the year, easily making the team. Then, just before the start of the season in November, he managed to squeeze up into Dean’s weight class.

During their first match at practice, Castiel had Dean pinned in ten seconds flat.

Best of Lucho
  1. On his qualities as a coach: “Well, I’m handsome, tall, friendly, Asturian…”
  2. On his preferred result for the Madrid derby: “I’d like both teams to lose the Madrid derby.”
  3. On his transfer from Real Madrid to Barcelona: “It wasn’t [hard to leave], it was easy.”
  4. On the infamous Figo pig’s head incident: “It was strange that they only threw the pig’s head; I thought they might throw the whole pig!”
  5. On his crazy celebration after scoring at the Bernabeu: “I do not care what these people think. I am proud to wear the shirt of Barcelona and score a goal in the Bernabeu.”
  6. On the possibility of a comeback against PSG: “If they scored four in Paris, we can score six.”
  7. On fans chanting his name at the Camp Nou: “They are always the same 100-150 people who are doing that, I’ve paid them…”
  8. On Jordi Alba’s red card: “The player has explained to me that he said ‘always to me’ and that, unless it is the name of a horror movie, is not a reason to send someone off.”
  9. On Real Madrid president Lorenzo Sanz’s criticism of his celebration at the Bernabeu: “If he wants then I can cry.”
  10. On seeing himself in white: “I see myself in pictures and TV wearing the Madrid shirt in the past and I feel strange. I think the scarlet and blue shirt suits me better.”
  11. On criticism: “I never read criticism on me. My doctor told me not to do so.”
  12. On Messi comparisons: “He’s just different. It’s ridiculous that they’re comparing awards, golden melons, whatever it is that they want to compare.”
  13. On Santos asking for Neymar to be banned for 6 months: “As asking is free, they better ask for 6 years…”
  14. On training with GPS vests: “It’s to make sure we don’t lose anyone.”
  15. On whether he tells Sergi Roberto about his own experiences at right back: “I don’t tell players the stories of grandpa Luis Enrique, they’re outdated.”
  16. On Juve’s rotation before the Champions League match: “I would recommend them to rest [Higuain], Cuadrado, Dybala, Mandzukic (…) all these players against Barcelona. That’s what I would recommend and that way they would be much fresher for their league games. That’s my advice, but I don’t know if they will take it.”
  17. On Messi’s influence: “Messi is decisive even when he is at home eating dinner.”
  18. On whether he plans to watch the Madrid derby: “If I don’t take a nap I’ll watch it.”
  19. On interest in Paco Alcacer: “I don’t normally comment on players that are not here. If I changed that rule I’d have to talk about 543 strikers and 200 more wingers who have been mentioned in the press.”
  20. When a journalist fell asleep at his press conference: “Look, that’s never happened to me before, a guy sleeping in the press conference! It’s the first time (…) How great (…) Damn, I know the press conference of the manager is boring, but this much?”
  21. On why he substituted Messi during the last few minutes of El Clasico: “Because Real Madrid fans paid to see the true legend.”
  22. On his plans for the future: “I am open to any possibility, even changing sports. I could coach in another sport, I’m quite good at other sports.”
  23. On next season: “I’ll sit in my seats at the Camp Nou and support the team.”
Life’s Fucked Eddie, It’s so Damn Fucked

(Reddie) It’s a couple moths into senior year. The Losers are still going on strong. Eddie Kaspbrack has just joined the cheer squad. One day, a painfully sweet jock lends him his jacket. Eddie’s heart swoons. Is this love? It can’t be. Who said Eddie Kaspbrack was gay? Is he? What will happen when his best friend realizes he has intense feelings for this small mysophobic hypochondriac.

No but Sans.

Sans, who has lost everything time and time again. Sans, who has nothing left to fight for, because it will just be taken from him again. Sans, who has lost all hope in a happy ending.

Sans, who finds a happy ending. Sans, who realizes nothing’s going to go away this time. Sans, who starts to actually become a parent to Frisk and decides to start becoming more active in their life.

Sans, who joins the PTA.

And there he meets fucking Linda. Linda, who loudly and vocally protested monsters arriving at the school. Linda, who constantly misgenders Frisk and tries to enforce quiet hands. Linda, who advocates for gluten-free food not because of allergies, but because she read once in a blog that gluten is so bad for you, don’t you know. Linda, whose lemon bars are shit and opinions even shittier.

Sans has something to fight for now. He also has something to fight against.

He stops napping during the meetings and becomes more involved. He starts to actively fight all of Linda’s stupid ideas, even if it does result in him going to the principal’s office more than twice. Sans standing up for all the kids that Linda and he stupid policies have hurt, however directly.

Asgore ends up having to go to meetings to hold Sans back in case things get too heated. He enjoys himself. The fact that he’s willing to discuss things without shouting gets him elected PTA president in a week.

Sans, who gets the other monsters to help him out. Toriel and Muffet helping out at bake-sales. Undyne becoming assistant coach to the sports teams and the most aggressive soccer mom. Alphys upgrading the school’s computer system, and sketching out better curriculum plans during marathons of Mew Mew Kissy Cutie. Mettaton running the talent shows and school plays, and plugging fund-raisers during his shows. Papyrus volunteering at everything he has time for.

Sans realizes he’s trapped in white suburban mom hell. He falls for the tropes more often than he would like to admit (”oh, your kid made the honor roll? my kid’s an ambassador” “fight me on this, helen.”) but he doesn’t care because he knows he’s helping others. He becomes the hero of the school, to both kids, monsters, and adults who were sick of Linda’s bullshit from the start but were too afraid to say anything.

Because this is the kind of Undertale I want. I want to see this weird family of like seven parents, one kid, and one particularly violent houseplant, but nobody questions it. I want to see monsters living on the surface in perfect domestic bliss, and even making things better. I want to see these poor babies happy. And I am so happy that we’ve latched onto something that is in no way shape or form canon and have not only decided that it’s a thing, but are using it to vent out our frustrations on systems that have failed us.

AU. So, yeah. That year abroad helped Harry establish that he is in love with his best friend. Now, if Louis would stop treating him like a little brother, that would be awesome. (Additional ingredients: a collapsing tree house, a lot of pining, the other three boys as Louis’ new best mates from university, and a camping trip. Serve hot.) (24k - a fave)
