co existent

“She’s [Stella Gibson] a strong, powerful character and yet she is very much in touch with her feminine side. There was something about playing her that actually kind of awakened me to the notion that the two can co-exist. That I can… I’m masculine, so to speak, in the way that I am in my life, but that I can embrace that co-existing other part of myself, and it doesn’t mean that I’m conforming to long-standing notions of how women should and shouldn’t be, or dress.”

Hi Luna, I was just wondering since you mentioned skully was human once, does this apply to other characters as well? Cause I would just really like to see a human version of ash noir...

Nopes, some characters are known as “Mythos” = Mythological people. They co-exist peacefully with humans. Ash is a Mytho, and so are many of the characters you’ll meet.

This is probably late but remember in the movie when Eugene had his ring? The design on it looked like the crocus in Frozen,do you think he got his ring from frozen?

You mean on the ring box?

No, not at all. I don’t think the show’s creators intend to crossover Tangled and Frozen at all. They are not canonically in the same universe, regardless of all the fan theories that are thrown around, including Rapunzel and Eugene’s cameo during “For the First Time In Forever.” Disney has been putting cameos and Easter eggs into their movies for ages, but all it is is a visual gag and is not meant to imply that the stories all co-exist. Belle is walking down the street during “Out There” in The Hunchback of Notre Dame

but that doesn’t mean that Beauty and the Beast takes place in Paris in 1482 (which is where and when Hunchback takes place). The man behind her has Carpet from Aladdin over his arm, too.

Also, the design on the box is not dissimilar to Rapunzel’s art style, and yes, the whole series is meant to be as though it’s painted in her journal, But the art direction is meant to evoke the style of Tangled, not the style of Frozen.

Wait, how are you even here, Lazarus!? Back from the grave? Unless this is before the events of MGQ...

I’ve been really stumped by this question for the past couple of days simply because I had never thought about it at all.

The reason why this is so significant is that Lazarus whilst with the Ilias Kreuz and what would have been Post-Game Lazarus would be completely different people I feel.

Lazarus as we know him is a incredibly broken man from seeing both his closest friends cut down before him, before these events he did fight for the protection of the weak and was going to spread co-existence after the death of the monster lord.

He holds a deep grudge against Monsters because of that though a lot of it is also fear, it’s why one of my favorite scenes with him at the mermaid bar you expect Lazarus to be completely insane and snap at Luka but rather he is just a man that has lost all hope and simply dismisses the idea of co-existence.

The reason I bring up all of this is I do believe after the chimera attacks in Part 3 and Lazarus remembers why he fights in the first place and protects Gold Port, I do believe if Lazarus did survive the attack he would fight along side monsters against the apocalypse Ilias ordered against the world.

After the war against angels and chimeras I think he would keep Ilias Kreuz disbanded seeing how monsters help protect the world and instead set off on his own as a traditional hero looking to help in each town he visits to once again protect the weak as a somewhat quest for self-redemption whilst the world still remembers the things he has done.

I’m rather new to Tumblr and muses so I’m not to sure what people would think about a “Post-Game Lazarus” as it would end up me making up my own lore for MGQ, however if people like this idea then I’m more then happy to do this direction as it allows me to more easily interact with over MGQ themed blogs.

sorry but “aphobia” for cishet aro/aces and cis aroaces doesn’t exist outside of misogyny and toxic masculinity.

if you’re a cis and/or het aro/ace girl and you’re called frigid or a bitch for not wanting sex or a relationship, that’s not “aphobia” that’s misogyny

if you’re a cis and/or het aro/ace boy and you’re called a pussy for not wanting sex or a relationship, that’s not “aphobia” that’s toxic masculinity.

there are literally already words for what you’re experiencing stop trying to make up new ones so you can invade LGBT safe spaces

“The legend of Anarkali – the beautiful courtesan who seduced the Mughal Prince Saleem only to be entombed alive in a wall for her transgression by Salim’s father, Emperor Akbar. The history of Anarkali, that heaving, bustling maze of congested streets and tiny shops located outside the Lohari Gate, can be traced back to colonial times.

Lahore’s oldest surviving bazaar was once the center of culture and style; and remains a popular shopping destination even today… Vibrant and chaotic, Anarkali Bazaar embodies Lahore’s spirit of grandeur, contradictions and co-existence. Amongst shops selling everything from stationery to hand embroidered khussas to fresh nimbo paani, you’ll spot architectural styles derived from the various eras to have shaped the city’s cultural ethos – from Mughal to Sikh to British” -Destinations Magazine

Foreshadowing from Steven’s Dream

The foreshadowed moment of Greg’s abduction leads me to wonder whether other details about the movie they watched are also relevant.

“They only kidnapped cows because they needed milk for their cereal planet.”

And we already know that the gems are running low on resources and their planet is starving. Perhaps, as I’ve been suggesting for a very long time now, the key is to work together. In the same way cereal and milk are complements, the end goal might really be for organic and gem life to co-exist to make a delicious breakfast.

 •
a random person : platonic relationships are beautiful
another person : romantic relationships are beautiful
me, an intellectual : both are. both can co-exist at the same time. it's fine if people ship it platonically OR romantically. best friends to lovers is completely valid and vice versa.

Lisa Hanawalt, BoJack Horseman | XOXO Festival (2015)

“Lisa Hanawalt’s uniquely funny and bizarre webcomics led to her current role as designer and producer of BoJack Horseman, Netflix’s series set in a world where humans and anthropomorphic animals co-exist. She also co-hosts Baby Geniuses, a podcast with comedian Emily Heller that has nothing to do with the movie of the same name.”
