Fake – Part 2

Part 1

Pairing: EXO Baekhyun X Reader

Genre: Angst / Fluff

Word Count: 1,445

A/N thanks for requesting part 2! Here it is ❤ I never actually mention in part 1 the girl’s name… but she’s called mina in this

Baekhyun was so surprised at your swift departure that he couldn’t utter a single word. It was too late, you’d already left, the library door slamming behind you. Mina stood in front of Baekhyun, who was still situated in the bean bag, icy eyes following you as you left. A smirk toyed at her lips.

Baekhyun suddenly felt different, unsure and slightly nervous. The whole situation’s atmosphere had abruptly become intense, fierce, sharp. Everything that was to unfold depended on Baekhyun, and him alone. Your lack of presence meant you were no longer there to support him. He felt slightly lonely, your exit affecting him more than it should.

Something felt far away inside him, distant. His connection to Mina didn’t feel as clear, like someone had tampered with his carefully thought out plan. He had looked at Mina before with a schoolboy crush, and although now she stood in front of him, eyeing him up while he had full access, it didn’t seem to bloom into anything more. If anything, Baekhyun felt a protective barrier towards you, his friend, after her intimidation had led you to fleeing the building.

Baekhyun shook his head slightly, as if trying to rid himself from this new, foreign feeling. He finally had a chance with Mina, you had gone through so much to get him this far. Baekhyun almost felt like he couldn’t let your reluctant work go to waste, as if it would be letting you down. I might as well try it out. Baekhyun thought to himself. Maybe the unknown feelings would vanish then. Giving himself an excuse to carry out the process he had planned, Baekhyun allowed himself to connect with Mina for the night. Although a small voice in his mind warned him this experiment wasn’t to end in the way he had originally thought.

You felt numb. You regretted ever agreeing to the stupid idea. Obviously, it would only end up in tears and a cracked heart. Refusing to allow yourself to witness the flirting and the fall of your fake relationship, you’d escaped the library as fast as possible. Now, you sat in your bed, wrapped up in covers with messily tied up hair and black lines running down your face. You decided to watch crappy rom-coms on your laptop as an attempt to divert your mind.

A couple of movies later, you heard a click at your door and watched as Baekhyun let himself inside your room. His eyes found yours. He stood in the door frame, leaning against it and stuffing his hands inside his jacket pockets. A glance at the dark makeup sinisterly running from your eyes sent a stab of guilt to Baekhyun’s stomach.

You pulled your laptop screen down, leaving only the candlelight next to your bed as a source of light in the room. You noticed Baekhyun’s hair was wet, it must have been raining outside. His lips looked plump. You tried to stop images of Baekhyun and Mina flashing in your head, building a brick wall in your mind.

“I’m sorry,” Baekhyun finally spoke. You didn’t reply, only wiping a tear that was threatening to spill down your cheek. “I’m sorry for being so blind about everything,” Baekhyun said, staring at the ground. “I’m confused about how I feel and… It’s all different. Everything is different.” He looked up to meet your gaze. You nodded. “And I’ll be honest: things did happen with Mina.” But she needn’t know what things happened, Baekhyun thought to himself. “I love our friendship,” he paused,”the way it is, but there are definitely feelings I need time to fully comprehend.”

The Plan (Wonder Woman x wlw reader)

this is my first full oneshot on this blog!! it’s loosely based on a prompt from @fan1geek1addicted - I got a little carried away, I promise I’ll write some pure fluff soon :) enjoy!

Sometimes Diana leaves. It’s just a fact of your relationship: there are times when she needs to leave to go fight, to go protect, to go be the wonder that she is, and that part of her is integral to why you love her. You would never want your relationship to stand between her and what she stands for, so you’re happy to put that part of your life on the backburner for a week or two when a situation arises.

However, now it’s been nearly a month since Diana had come through your front door, so with a nervous, discontent sigh, you walk past the front entrance of your shared apartment and get into bed by yourself for what seems feels like the hundredth time. Against your own hopes, you can’t help but think: this isn’t going according to plan.

What are some good columbine documentaries/movies to watch ??? I'm just now finding myself fascinated by all of this

Ah yes, i love this question❤

My personal favourite is Zero Hour:
- It gives huge detail to every moment leading up to the shooting and during, and especially as a beginner i think this is an amazing resource.
- Also Ben Johnson and Josh Young portray Eric and Dylan well in my opinion
-There are real interviews with real students included in the interview, included first hand accounts and confrontation with Eric and Dylan themselves; John Savage, Brooks Brown and The Browns, Aaron Hancey.
- The 2020 interview with Sue Klebold.
- Beautiful interview with one of the mothers of the shooters, Sue Klebold
- Great for a more emotional perspective of the shooting
- You learn a lot about the past of dylan and the reconciliation between Sue and the public after the massacre.
-BBC broadcasting interview
-English version of the 2020 interview practically
-another interview with sue klebold.
As for other documentaries I would just click through the recommended on each of the following.
‘Cleaning Columbine’ on youtube, they post various clips and evidence on the case, i would really recommend
‘Columbine Video Archives’ on youtube, they also post clips and evidence and also theories and debunking videos.
I dont recommend using these as solid information but if you’re interested in the story you might enjoy.
ZERO DAY: (my fave)
-done in the style to represent the videos dylan and Eric made leading up to the shooting.
I personally havent watched this but a lot of people i know enjoyed it so whats the harm in trying it out?
It was pretty good, i liked it and its worth a shot, its got a pretty good rating and its not as heavy as other columbine inspired movies.

Mother in law deletes my Netflix watch list and adds her shows.

My husband and I gave his mom our login in to our Netflix and her own profile within our account in exchange for her HBO go password.

One day out of the blue my watch list no longer had all of my movies and TV shows that I was really looking forward to watching and was replaced with crime stories shows and shitty reality tv. She logged in to my account thinking it was hers and removed everything, she even watched so much shows that my recently viewed wasn’t my own. I feel like a logical person would realize that maybe since nothing looked familiar they would realize maybe they clicked the wrong profile. She said is was an accident but laughed it off saying now I can watch her shows and have something to talk about.

For the past few months I have been watching strategically picked programs on her profile so swerve the recommended programs, mostly LGBT shows since she is kinda homophobic. I will also add really bad, or really f*cked up movies to her watch list.

Could you please maybe write a quick/non-spoilerish review after you go and see BvS? I only trust your judgement for the movie. You've been with us along for the ride since day 1, if you give the green or say it sucked, I'll only listen to you lmao

sorry if this is too messy, i just got back. quick shout-out to the people inboxing me spoilers thinking they’ll ruin the movie for me. suck it, gladys, i was faster this time

  • this isn’t a hollywood movie. i can’t stress this enough. you’ve probably heard it already, “the pacing isn’t what you’d expect”, both in good and bad reviews, and it’s accurate. this isn’t a hollywood movie. this is a comic book movie. i’m being as literal as i can get, this is a DC comics movie, and the only thing missing was the speech bubbles and 28 less frames per minute (because… you know. it’s a movie at the end of the day and not a panelled page). that feeling you’ll have the first 20 minutes about something being out of place will click once you realize “wait, am i watching a superhero film based on comic books? on the actual source material and not hollywood rules?”
  • the characters… the accuracy of the characters. not just the main characters but every character you can recognize from the comics. the way they’re all nailed down to a terrifying degree of correct portrayal. i’ve never seen such an intense performance as jesse’s. he managed to make a role that could easily turn into the fakest, most forced character in the franchise into one of the most corporeal aspects of BvS. you won’t try to go along with lex, you won’t try to convince yourself “this is a serious movie”, you’ll be swept away with the flow and drown
  • fuck bruce wayne
  • no literally fuck bruce wayne i think i’m increasingly attracted to ben affleck now, snyder what have you done
  • if you’re a big batman fan, you’ve probably thought, “this is the best bruce wayne/batman we’ve gotten so far yet there’s something not quite there… what if i’m asking for too much? i’ll just shut up and take what i can get, it’s not like i can grab comics’ bruce and throw him in the movie”…. well now you can. i can’t express how much of a good fit affleck is for both bruce wayne and batman. i can’t showcase the way he makes bruce wayne and batman work as one entity instead of having this dude suddenly put on a mask and yup, i guess that’s batman. no. when you hear “batman has been active for 20 years” you see it, it’s not just a line in a script to speed things along
  • on the topic of people being afraid snyder is screwing up clark and that he’s turning too dark/lost: this is our superman. this is our clark kent. everything he does is 100% in character w/ the comics. if you love THAT clark, you’ll love THIS clark
  • fucking diana prince
  • fucking justice league
  • everything makes sense. you’ll look back to the trailers and laugh. i have nothing else to say on this but it’s a hilarious joke once you’ve seen the finished product
  • last and most important: the third act will kick your ass. the third act will kick your ass. THE THIRD ACT WILL KICK. YOUR. ASS. :)

there’s also this spoiler about batman going around that isn’t accurate and just goes to show that people didn’t pay attention. it’s the #1 thing you’ll be able to use to see if someone actually watched the movie and didn’t just bullshit it/base their opinions on misinformed reviews. if you’re a DC fan, if you read and love DC comics, you’ll absolutely love the film (which is why i get why non-comic book fans found it confusing)

i repeat: this is not a hollywood movie. Batman v Superman is made by one of us for us, in the most literal way possible. go enjoy getting your ass kicked

Tip for watching LoK online!

Okay so I know everyone’s still pissed off at the fact that LoK will no longer be aired on Nick (myself included).

Me and my brother would plop down on the couch every Friday to watch it. Even my mom got really into it last week. I know a bunch of you like to watch the show when it airs on TV with your friends, family and siblings but now you can’t anymore….

I don’t know about the rest of you but I only just discovered how to do this so if this is like stone age info please don’t be mean about it. I just wanna help the people of the fandom.

This is a very simple process and all you will need is:

1)Your computer/laptop

2)A TV (one made within the past 5 years will be best)

An HDMI cable. My dad had one lying around the house that was perfect but if you don’t have one you can borrow from a friend or buy one (from what I’ve gathered they can be pretty cheap but I dunno if they’re all like that hence the ‘borrowing’ option)

1)Plug one end of the cable into the HDMI port on your computer/laptop. Both ends are the same so it doesn’t really matter which you use. Make sure your laptop is on I dunno if this works when it’s off.

2)Plug the other end into the HDMI port on your TV. Most TVs made within the past 5 years have these so all you need to do is look for the place on your TV where you can plug stuff in. It should be around there.

This is how it should look:

3) Turn on your TV and use the remote to get the options menu down so you can pick which mode you want your TV to be on. (It’s like if you wanna watch a DVD you change the mode from TV to whichever mode your DVD player is on)

This is how my TV does it:

Click the source button

Then select the HDMI option (Most TVs have multiple HDMI ports so just try all until you find the one that you plugged in. I used HDMI1)

4) Once you’ve selected the option, your computer screen will be shown on the TV screen.

You can use this to watch the episodes of LoK when they come out online as well as other TV shows and movies. The volume comes out of the TV’s speakers and can be controlled with the remote. Once you’re done all you have to do is turn off the TV and unplug the computer/laptop from the cable.

I hope that some people find this helpful! And if you don’t watch LoK, like I said you can always watch other movies and TV shows!
