I been recently using coffee grounds as a facial/body scrub and I love it. I brew my own coffee everyday and use the grounds for my beauty needs. I love how it makes my face feel and look, plus i’m saving money on buying a facial scrub. This is a natural and easy scrub that I recommend you trying.
Makes skin smooth
Exfoliates dry skin
Contains a lot of antioxidants
Improves puffy eyes
Improves blood circulation
¼ cup of coffee
½ cup of Preferred oil
Optional: 2 tbsp of salt or sugar
Mix these ingredients together and rub the mixture in a circular motion. I recommend changing the proportions of these ingredients depending on your skin type and if you will be using this as a facial or body scrub.
This sigil is meant to help get clear skin. I would recommend to draw this sigil with your foundation, lotion, or favorite oil in your skin then blend it all over, visualizing your skin healing and looking beautiful. 👌
Lemon is a great way to remove dead cells and reduce dark spots! All you need to do is squeeze the juice out of half a lemon and mix one to two tablespoons of honey with it. Apply it to face, leave for about 15-20 minutes and then rinse it off.
Turmeric is a fantastic way to minimize scars and other facial marks along with alleviating allergic, inflammatory skin. To reduce spots, make a paste with one tablespoon of turmeric powder and just enough pineapple juice. Apply to face and neck, leave until paste dries completely. Rinse with lukewarm water and follow this method two/three times a week. To remove scars, mix equal amounts of turmeric powder and gram flour with a little gram flour or milk. Apply evenly on skin until dry. Rinse with lukewarm water and wash off gently in a circular motion.
Honey, this keeps your skin very moisturized and keeps your skin clear of infection! Use raw honey directly on the skin. Let it dry and rinse off with lukewarm water. Do this once every day or every other day.
Aloe Vera has multiple benefits to your skin from fighting off acne-causing bacteria to soothing inflammatory skin. Also, it is a fantastic moisturizer! To apply, extract gel from the aloe vera leaf, apply gel to face with a cotton ball and let it dry for a half hour. Follow daily!
Baking Soda, the home-remedy royalty is a go-to for clearing up acne, pimples, and spots. Mix a teaspoon of baking soda with a teaspoon of water or lemon juice to make a paste. Cleanse your face and apply gently to exfoliate your face. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat your skin dry with a towel. Do this about two to three times a week.
Cucumber -Yes, those movies that use cucumber facials are no joke! Cucumber can improve the overall appearance of the skin because it not only hydrates normal and damaged skin cells, but it also removes dead skin cells. Just cut thick slices of cucumber and rub them thoroughly all over your face. Leave the coverage on overnight and rinse in the morning with warm water. Follow this daily before you go to bed.
Our product, works at it’s best when you have healthy, clear skin!
Hey y'all I’m back with part two! ✌🏾😛 This part is about my regimen and products I’m currently using so let’s hop into it! 💃🏾
At night is when I do my full skincare routine.
Makeup Removal - First I take out my contacts and then I remove makeup with olive oil (if I was wearing any bc I rarely do). Cleanse- Then I get a warm towel, wipe my face, and start lathering my SheaMoisture African Black Soap Face & Body Bar in the towel. Then I use my lathered up towel and start cleansing my face. Exfoliate - After I have soap all over my face then I pull out my spin brush and on the lowest setting gently exfoliate with my cleanser. Tone - Next I get my towel and rinse it out to wipe off my cleanser with cold water. Now I’m going to tone with my MaryKay Botanical Effects Formula 3 Freshen and cotton balls.
Moisturize - Finally I Moisturize with my MaryKay Botanical Effects Formula 3 Hydrate. Face Oil - In the winter I’ll finish my routine with an incredibly small amount of olive oil.
Freshen - When morning rolls around, I don’t like to cleanse again so I simply wipe my face with a cold towel and freshen up with toner Moisturize - I use the same moisturizer morning and night Mattify - Finally I use my MaryKay Oil Mattifier to take care of shine throughout the day
Mask - once a week I use a mask for ten minutes in between cleansing and toning. The masks I alternate between are the MaryKay Botanical Effects Formula 2 or Formula 3 Mask.
Just so you guys know I’m far from perfect when it comes to doing my routine perfectly consistent but I try lol nobody’s perfect
