I really liked Luke telling Danny off and pointing his privileged. One of Danny’s most annoying qualities is how self-absorbed he is. He’s so obsessed with his mission and role and the big ideas that he never stops to think about other people. Whether it was braking into Joy’s apartment or fighting Hand he never cares to think about the consequences - for himself or others. This is how he lost K’un-Lun in the first place.

He needs people like Luke reminding him others don’t have the billionaire, white boy armour around them. Not everyone can get the best layer in the city even when homeless on the streets and get away with fine after kicking ass of a whole police unit. Luke went to prison for less. And while that kid was not innocent - cleaning bodies for criminal organization - he didn’t deserve to die in your war. Luke is the one who pays attention to collateral damage - he even holds it against Alexandra.

Danny also needs Luke or at least some back up because he is also stupidly reckless - going to the Midland Circle Financial knowing it’s Hand all on his own was never going to end well - and he would’ve been captured if it wasn’t for Luke and others.

But they also need him because while self-absorbed and reckless he is also the big picture guy. He just chases that big picture with tunnel vision. Still all the others only care for their own little piece of the story - the boy Luke couldn’t save, the client Jessica couldn’t help, the woman Matt lost. Danny actually cares about saving the world. Or at least New York City.

Declutter Your Life

I’ve resolved that every Wednesday, I will write a masterpost about self care and living clean and happy lifestyles. Mainly because my blog is devoted to that too, besides being a studyblr, but I hardly ever post original content about it, so hereeee we go. :)

Plan first

  • Make a list of areas you want to tackle
  • Or items you want to go through
  • Set how long you’ll clean
  • And a little reward for yourself when you’ve reached that goal
  • Envision what you want your space to look like at the end
  • Set aside three baskets or areas: one for things to keep, one for things to trash, and one for things to donate/sell


There are just some ideas of things to get rid of or pare down. Feel free to add your own. :)


  • unnecessary pillows on your bed or extra blankets
  • monsters under your bed
  • chargers, wires, etc. that go to devices you don’t have anymore or that are broken
  • old devices, phones, ipods

Social Media

  • Unfollow people, be merciless, make your social media a place of positivity
  • unfriend toxic people (see the next section)
  • go through your own posts and delete anything you regret posting
  • take social media breaks


  • upload all of your photos to Google photos or flickr or photobucket or onedrive or whatever, or even a CD, then delete them from your memory
  • also back up important documents or just things you want to keep to something else and delete them on your computer
  • go through and sort everything into files
  • delete any programs you don’t use


  • clean out your pictures, upload them to cloud or whatever
  • delete all of the apps you don’t use or need
  • go through your contacts and delete the people you don’t want to contact anymore
  • delete old text message conversations
  • give yourself a new background too, something clean and simple


  • Get rid of those people who are toxic in your life, mute notifications from them, unfollow them on social media (you can unfollow someone one facebook without unfriending them), don’t answer them often
  • make an effort to interact with people face-to-face rather than through text or the internet
  • decide who you want to actively invest your energy in


  • make a study schedule
  • prioritize your schedule – study the hardest subjects the most
  • remember that grades are important
  • also remember that grades aren’t everything 
  • (pls don’t fire me from being a studyblr)
  • if you can’t get everything you need to do done in 24 hours without sacrificing 8 hours of sleep and a bit of time for yourself, then you’re doing too much

Best tip to stay decluttered: Learn to say no.

Tip if you live with room mates or parents:

Make your bedroom your SANCTUARY. Make a place you want to go to at the end of the day to relax, having a dirty room is so stressful. And I get it, you sit there and stare at it, but don’t tackle the clutter because it’s overwhelming. My advice, just start somewhere. Even if it takes you a few days. GET RID OF STUFF YOU DON’T NEED. Minimize your belongings. (Read DO LESS by Rachel Jonat. It has seriously changed my view on organization and clutter and has opened my habits and my mind to minimalism) I donate all of my unused but salvageable goods to thrift stores, because keeping them around to try and sell them can cause you to continue to be overwhelmed.
Then, once you’re room is cleaned, let your bed be your bed. It’s for sleeping and lounging only. Try to get a good desk for homework and study.
Then for decorations
GET COZY SHEETS, CANDLES, FAIRY LIGHTS, drape tulle or tapestries along your walls or ceilings with push pins or command hooks. (Small Holes in walls are easy to fix by yourself btw, just do a quick google search.)
Get a cozy comforter and comfy pillows. If you have an uncomfortable mattress, get a comfy foam mattress topper (@ target for $12) to help. Keep a little tray that you can lay your night time goodies on. Mine has a lavender pillow spray, a wide tooth comb, water bottle, Vaseline (I put it on my lips, lashes and brows before bed), and my notebook in case I have any wild ideas I want to jot down during the night.
Keep a catch all try by your door. Lay your keys, sunglasses, watch, etc. there, so you know where they are when you’re rushing out the door. Also, have a place to put your purse. If you can’t put a hook on the wall to hang it up, get an over the door hook hanger from Walmart. (I love this thing because I keep my purse, school bag, fave Nike hat and umbrella there, and I always know where I put them.
Use things like white boards, calendars, and pin boards to keep yourself organized, and design yourself a motivational vision board.
ORGANIZE YOUR DRESSER. Keep socks, undies, bras, tights in the top drawer, then shirts, then pants. But if you can, hang up tips that you know will get wrinkles easy.
Put a cozy rug in your room to keep your feet warm, but don’t forget to clean it, because if you have pets it will start to stink.
Keep clutter off your bed and DIRTY CLOTHES IN THE HAMPER. I don’t care if you need 3 hampers, idc if you need 3 hampers for dirty clothes and 2 for clean clothes, just KEEP THEM OFF THE FLOOR.
Play some chill music while you just hanging out. Light your candles, sit back, and enjoy your beautiful chill room.

10 day back to school challenge

hey guys!! last year around this time I made a back to school photo challenge, so this year I thought I’d create a back to school action challenge to help you prepare for the school year! If you’re following along, you can post pictures or updates to the tag #universi-tea challenge

  1. Make a list of school supplies you’ll need for the year
    Try not to buy more than you need!
  2. Write down goals for the semester
    Keep them somewhere you’ll see them often, and be specific!
  3. Organize and clean your room
    So you’ll have a fresh start!
  4. Start preparing for your favorite class!
    Or your hardest.
  5. Buy your supplies for the year!
    Don’t forget your list!
  6. Create a morning routine
    To make waking up early a little less rough.
  7. Make a list of yummy breakfast, lunch, and snack recipes
    You can’t study on an empty stomach.
  8. Create a color coding system for your classes
    Try to match it with your supplies to stay organized!
  9. Clean out your backpack
    If it’s anything like mine, it needs it. 
  10. Enjoy your last little bit of break!
    Hang out with your friends, go to the pool, and sleep late one last time.

  1. Put on a good playlist. I like to listen to hip hop, and sometimes EDM when I’m cleaning. Upbeat music is better, in my opinion. Whatever music you like is fine, as long as it motivated you. Play it loud if you can.
  2. Do the easy parts first. See some garbage? Pick it up and throw it away. Dirty clothes on the floor? Stick them in the laundry. Old assignments you will never care about again? File them away or recycle them. You have to get rid of things you know that you will never use. Get rid of as many things as you can. After this step you should see a significant difference in the space you are trying to organize. 
  3. Set up specific locations for things you use a lot. Find a holder for your loose pens, and put it within arms reach of your workspace. If you wear a jacket every day, it might be worth buying a wall hook for it. Labels are great, because they allow you to instantly know if an item is in the correct place or if it’s gone. You don’t need any fancy or expensive organizers, just the furniture you have, a sharpie, and some masking tape.
  4. Make sure the most useful items are out, and others aren’t. If I don’t use something very often, I put it away, out of sight. This makes my room appear a lot more organized, because I only have a few items out in the open.
  5. Finally, ask the hard questions. For me, if I haven’t worn an item of clothing in over a year, I get rid of it. You have to ask yourself, Do I really use this item? Does it contribute to my life or does it just take up space? Does this item make my space considerably uglier or more cluttered? Giving honest answers will allow you to know if the item is worth keeping or not. At this stage, when you have eliminated all of the unnecessary items, you may consider investing in a cute shelf or set of drawers, etc. but that is completely optional. 
  6. Keep it up. This is the hardest step. Every time you use something, put it back in its designated space. After a while it becomes a habit, but it will be difficult initially. Don’t give up! It’s worth it!
Room Organization Masterpost!

Hi everyone! I’ve been obsessing over masterposts recently, and decided to make one of my own. This is going to be all about organizing and cleaning your room, with some of my tips. I haven’t seen many posts about full room cleans, which kinda surprised me because I find that when I have a really organized and clean room, it is much easier for me to stay motivated and excited about being productive. Anyways, let’s get started!

1. Put yourself in the mood for cleaning: Alright, this sounds a little weird, but get yourself set up to clean with some background noise and whatever else you need. I like to bring in a pet to have some company in my room (I have a dog, any other animal that you have I’m sure would work too though hehe). I also like to put on some youtube videos in the background - the video in the picture is by @studyquill :)

2. Time to Start Cleaning!: First, I like to start with making my room LOOK clean. There is a difference between looking clean and actually being clean (the difference being if your room is organized as well). So move any clothes off the floor and bed, do laundry, make your bed, take out the trash etc. 

3. Throwing Things Away: If you’re anything like me, you probably have quite a few piles of notecards, papers, dried up pens and more that you should’ve thrown away/recycled a long time ago. Go ahead and get rid of that. During this phase, I also like to look through my closet and dresser to find any accessories and clothes that I no longer wear to donate and/or sell. 

4. Makeup and Hair Products: If you don’t have much of this that needs to be organized, you can skip this part, but I know that my makeup area gets super messy (even tho I only use like 2 products?? idk.). Organize that into a free space you have in your room, or in your bathroom if that’s what you prefer. Also make sure your brushes are clean! 

5. Organizing Stationary: This part is always the hardest for me, but definitely the most satisfying. First, I go through all my pens and test them to check for dried out ones. Then, I find any containers/jars that I can organize the pens in, and then separate my pens by brand, most frequently used, and/or types. Next I get all my stickers and washi together and organize it into a basket of its own. Refer to the picture below to see how I like to organize everything.

6. Desk time!: Finally, you’re going to need to organize your desk/study space. My desk is always a mess, so it’s always nice to get it cleaned out lol. First I like to organize my favorite books and notebooks into an aesthetically pleasing array just cause that’s fun. I keep two notebooks on my desk, a travel book, a beauty book, a writing ideas journal, Winnie the Pooh in Latin (lol if you didn’t know I take Latin haha), a ‘Pick Me Up’ journal, and a meditation guide book. Then, I clean everything out and organize cubbies/drawers into sections. The sections I usually have are pens, tech, random things I don’t want to get rid of (literally random little trinkets that I just have too much emotional attachment to), and other supplies. In this step I also make sure my calendar is updated because I know one time I had a September calendar up and it was literally April… oops.

I’ve been wanting to redecorate my room but I’m a little bit hesitant since I only go home on the weekends. Also, my mom won’t allow me to post or like stick anything on the wall. The only place I’m allowed to put up photos or notes is at the back of my door. Still trying to convince my mom to allow me to redecorate it.

For years, my bed and the floor has been my workspace. I did my school requirements on the floor, paint on the floor, print and cut on the floor. My bed is my desk, I sit in it, write in it, and sometimes eat there, too. Hahaha. All I want is to paint my room white, have a white desk and a wall shelf. That’s it. I just want my own workspace. That would be really nice.

I have here some peg ideas of how I wanted it to look like. The black and white combination also looks good. Hopefully, my mom would say yes.

The Perfect Weekday Morning

Envisioning how my perfect morning would go really motivates me toward achieving it. I really encourage you to spend a quiet moment and plan out how you would want your ideal day to go, piece by piece. Plans provide focus.

 The following is my perfect morning, which is different during the weekdays than the weekends. On the weekends the perfect morning goes along the lines of “Sleep until it’s not morning anymore” hahaha. Just kidding… Sort of. My morning routine is also pretty short. I am a night owl and subsequently a late sleeper, but I have to leave for work by 8am, so I don’t do a lot in the mornings, lol.

6:45 - wake up; open your window blinds, stretch a little, make your bed and drink some water

6:50 - quiet time; spend some time without any people, pray or meditate, journal, and take some time to write down or remind yourself of what you want to accomplish in the day

7:00 - check social media and answer messages; I always do this in the morning because I look at Instagram like my parents read the newspaper

7:15 - get ready pt.1; splash some water on your face, run a comb through your hair, get dressed

7:30 - eat breakfast; try to eat a healthy breakfast, include some fruit, make yourself a bowl of oatmeal, whatever it is you like that’s also going to provide the nutritious breakfast your body needs

7:45 - get ready pt. 2; brush your teeth, apply makeup or anything else that you need, do your hair, boss babe yourself

7:50 - last minute prep; get your bag ready, put on your shoes, kiss your cat goodbye

These posts are so difficult to make haha. I really need to take a day and just whip up a bunch of them because I am way too busy on a daily basis to write these as needed.
