claudette rogers robinson

Claudette Rogers Robinson stands front and center with the rest of The Miracles. Claudette’s brother, Emerson “Sonny” Rogers was an original member of the group, but Claudette took his place when he was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1957.

Claudette retired from the exhausting life of touring in early 1964 (after suffering her sixth of seven miscarriages), but continued recording backup vocals for the group until 1972. Claudette is still performing and makes selected appearances with The Miracles. [x][x]
