Oven Baked Falafel
A recipe that I love a lot and that is literally so easy to prepare and in the oven in under 10 minutes!
1 can chickpeas
1 small onion, preferably red but any will do
each a bunch of cilantro/ coriander and parsley
juice of ½ a lemon
1 tsp garam masala
place all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend (don’t overblend!!) till all ingredients are slightly broken down and everything sticks together.
Then use a tablespoon to portion the batter and form it by using your hands into small balls or patties.
Place them on a parchement layered baking tray and bake them in a 200°C oven for about 25 minutes.
Serve them with lettuce, cucumber and tomato and a rice/ soy yogurt or tahini sauce and maybe some brown rice, quinoa tabbouleh or fries.
