(Cute Malec for anons)

“Sooooo,” Magnus began, nudging his boyfriend, tapping his foot against his. “What do you think of the Oxford shoes that I picked out? Comfortable right?”

Alec considered the question and gave his toes a little wiggle before answering. Admittedly they were very soft and in black. His favorite hue. “I didn’t know shoes had names. What are yours called?”

“Boat shoes. Though if you ask me, Oxfords are much classier and chic, but then again my Converses and Doc Martens are my go to shoes when i’m in a hurry but ooooooh! I’ve got a pair of sequined and glittered turquoise wedges that are to simply die for -ugh- Gorgeous! And another with little sequins-” he stopped himself as he stared at Alec’s incredulous, but undeniably humored expression. “Too much?”

“Just the tiniest bit.”

The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones - Malec scene at Magnus’s party :)

Did you just predict the future or what???

So I read this and I had a thought. Brother Zachariah knows a lot about the herondales. There were two people he would die for. What if the only way to save Jem was to make him a silent brother or something. Those two people would be Will and Tessa. What if Jem is brother Zachariah? O.O I need to go back to the first book and read his description again but I dot have it with me. T_T I’m so ready for clockwork princess. My nerves are on edge.

Magnus Bane, Jocelyn Fray, and Hodge Starkweather have been cast!

First, our Magnus Bane is the gorgeous Godfrey Gao

Cassandra Clare: Godfrey is, in addition to being all gorgeous and stuff, super-talented (his audition was awesome), loves the books, and is, like Magnus, ridiculously tall.

He is also super-nice — we emailed briefly and he said “I’m half Indonesian, because my mom is Peranakan Malaysian And my dad is Shanghainese - Soo hopefully the fans will like me playing Magnus

Our Jocelyn is none other than Lena Headey!

(Cassandra Clare: Jocelyn is a really fun character to write. She’s overprotective (but for a reason) and often really unyielding and unsympathetic, but she’s also a heroine who saved the world from Valentine, endured a lot of loss, and can execute some pretty badass moves. Moral ambiguity is always fun to play and who does it better than (Lena)

And lastly, our Hodge is Jared Harris (from Mad Men andSherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows)!

(Cassandra Clare: Hodge is also a really complicated character. He’s not entirely bad, not entirely good. He’s a brilliant man led down a bad path a long time ago and he can’t turn back, but he does love those kids he tutored…He’s got SAG awards all over the place and I think he’ll really nail Hodge’s moral dilemma.)
