To the citizen inquiring about our school system:
As Better Living Industries believes firmly and fully in education and the wide range of opportunities it grants, we offer many options of education to enroll in:
Primary youth education: every child in Battery City is required to complete primary youth education (or ‘pye’), regardless of financial limitations, beginning at age six and ‘graduating’ at age twelve. Before graduation, each eleven year old is required to take a standardized BLI assessment; these scores are used to determine placement for the next level of education.
Specialized Education 0:
*Note: the educational facilities and choices provided below do not make up the full list of options for your child. Please see the “Further Education” pamphlet that your child will have been given once completing the pye assessment for a full list.
- If a child scores a 385 or above on their pye assessment, they have many options such as those provided below for further, more specialized education, as well as any educational facilities offered to those with lower scores:
~ Early Military Education: There are several military schools located in Battery City that would give your child the highest quality of military education. Such education opportunities include graduating as a S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W, military unit general, or other high-ranking military professions within the BLI military masses.
~ Early Medicinal Education: There are several fine medicinal schools located in Battery City that would give your child the highest quality of medicinal education. This education would grant your child access to the highest level doctorate ranks, such as a military doctor, an advanced neurosurgeon, or other occupations necessitating high skill levels.
-If a child scores a 250-385 on their pye assessment, they have these options for further education, as well as any educational facilities offered to those with lower scores:
~ Early Engineering Education: There are several fine engineering schools located in Battery City that would give your child the highest quality of engineering education. This education would grant your child access to the many options available for those educated in engineering, such as weapons engineering, military engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering.
~ Non-Surgical Medicinal Education: This medicinal education route is similar to that of the EME; however, your child would not be granted access to high-difficulty surgical procedures. Instead, your child can become an expert in medicine technology, such as a prescription counselor, chemical engineer (help to design and create new, more efficient medication treatments), and therapist. NSME also allows your child to go into medical fields that do not require surgery, such as an anesthesiologist, OR nurse, or field nurse.
-If your child scores a 250 or below, they have the option of attending General Education 2, which serves as a buffer for those who either score below a 250 or cannot decide which one to enroll at/cannot attend a Specialized Education Facility. It is a six month program designed to introduce all members enrolled to each option of SE0, regardless of pye score. At the end, each student takes a GE2 assessment, and then choose his/her school.
Those who continue to score below a 250 have the option of additional education, or must contact a representative of SPEP0, where alternate education options will be provided.
Once graduating SE0 or SPEP0, each member is assigned a job in our Battery City community, or is instructed to complete further education at SE1 or SE2. It is important to recognize that all occupations are equally integral to how Battery City functions.
Have a better day, and thank you for contacting Better Living Industries! Our representatives loved your question!
